The voice is a subject I know nothing about - before now. Interesting - although my interest is probably more within scientific and cultural history and not so much the anatomy behind us being able to speak.
This means that I preferred the latter part of the book.
Because of the book’s recommendation, I did go on YouTube and hear a recording of Alessandro Moreschi, the world’s last castrato singer. What an eerily special voice!
