Even for one who does not believe in reincarnation or astral planes, nor are mediums or want to be, there are nuggets for us to take away from this book.

It discusses the importance of our understanding our intuitive and empath nature, and in so doing, that we need to learn how to harness and shield our nature for light.
We are susceptible to the frantic, dark, fearful energies of others... but we do not have to allow ourselves to be.
We can turn the tables in favor of our own health, and the health of those around us; but we first have to begin understanding what we are.

This book is an introduction of sorts. There are many of us walking the earth feeling isolated, overly-sensitive, affected easily by weather and others' energies, and energies of places or things... and there is usually no one to talk to about these experiences without some mention of a pharmaceutical.
Drugs, drugs drugs. (This book does not mention anything about drugs, but it's inevitable to think about how quickly we do turn to drugs when we start to struggle walking in-step with norms of society.)

Life is inevitably harder for those of us who feel deeply. For those of us who receive intuitive warnings without any evidential grounds. For those of us who need more time to recharge - a lot more time - than what the norm of daily grind allows.

I can't say I recommend this book, but if any of what I said above rings true for you in any way, you might get something out of it.
It's definitely not for everyone, and I can't even say that it's for me,
except that I appreciate the dialogue of highly-sensitive and empathic persons, and the acknowledgement of the spiritual,
which isn't often discussed on the streets and definitely not in the mainstream.

Also there are wonderful affirmations at the very end of the book that I plan to incorporate with some crafts maybe. ;)

This book is an amazing journey, bringing many realizations of my entire life and purpose along the way. Not only does it explain why sensitive people are the way that they are, but also how you can help yourself through those struggles and ultimately use these gifts to help others. This book will be a reference for me for the rest of my life, and honestly, it was divine intervention that it came across my path in the first place. I'm grateful!

Lightworker was a great book if you are looking for a simple, easy to read book about lightwork, being an empath, or being a Highly Sensitive Person (HSP). Some parts were really interesting such as when she explains the 6 planes of existence, and when she talks about the role of angels. I just wish that she gave a little bit more detail on the planes, and frankly all of the subject matter. I would have also appreciated more advice on dealing with the negative aspects of being an empath aside from just shielding yourself. However, I am aware there are more detailed books on these subjects so perhaps she was just aiming to give a brief overview. The last part of the book is solely about being a medium, and what specifically that entails (being able to communicate with the spirits of those who have passed away). Having said all of that I really enjoyed reading Lightworker and I love the idea that there are people on earth who wish to spread light for the better of humanity.

*also not a big deal but there were many typos in my copy.

This book is simple and easy to understand. It helped me realize why I take on so much pain from the world and how to channel that energy into healing. I am glad I came across this literature at the time that I did. I have struggled for so long and now I understand the purpose I have to serve for the highest good of all.

This helped me with the grief of losing a best friend and helped ease my fear of death. I feel like I learned so much about the afterlife and myself as I read each page. This book is one of those books you put down for a while and pick back up when your soul is calling towards it. 10/10 read
