I received an ARC of this - and read it in 6 hours! I simply couldn't stop even though sleep was desperately calling. I fell in love with the characters and their story line to the point where when they met their inevitable bump in their relationship, I was full on sobbing!
Ivy writes some beautifully descriptive passages of emotions and how one character sees the other. She also writes wonderfully hot scenes (with just a hint of RH and a few slices of dom)!
I loved the way Edie commented to the reader, just as an actor casts asides to the audience.
You can easily see that there may be further books about the Prince and the Duke - now he's the one who really fascinates me!
I would highly recommend buying this as soon as it is released - I will certainly be buying my own copy of the finished book.

This book was amazing!! I couldn't stop reading once I started. Edie is like most of us. We all have a hidden side in us somewhere we don't want others to see. What she does for love will surprise you. Will she be able to have or King or only enjoy him temporarily hiding who she truly is? Without giving spoilers I just have to say NO to Connor. He better watch himself. I absolutely can't wait for the next book.

Wow what a book! So I'm alittle conflicted here. I have finally read this book and now I want more!!!! Conner's little cliffhanger just about did me in but when I looked back at the release date of this book I noticed it was released in 2018. Does that mean there will be no more to this series??? I loved how this book ended but when the second epilogue is from a secondary character and ends with a cliffy, making the next book sound so amazing it hurts my heart knowing there is not a next in the series. I really want to read a book about Con and Dev and then also one with Sebastian.

Get it girl!!!

Edie knee what she wanted and went after it!!! This was such a fantastic read! Edie and Dean were hot!! I instantly fell for them both!! I loved them!!! Hell I loved this whole book from beginning to end!!! There is no book that Ivy Fox hasn’t written where it’s a must read!!! I swear every book I’ve picked up I haven’t been able to put it down!!!

Awesome

So it had the whole superman/Clark Kent thing going on which always has me thinking how do people not know they're the same person??? I loved this book though, Ivy is a really good romance writer and I feel like I keep leaving the same review for her books but she is so good at having a perfect balance of romance and action and steamy scenes. I cant wait to read more by this author, I'm just sad that I've read everything she has put so far and am going to have to wait for the next books in her series. Highly recommend this book for romance lovers

For Edie in so many of us!

How nice would that be? To have some way have a chance to be with the man of our dreams like Edie? She’s way braver than me! I’d never be able to as far as she did, but then I’d never pined after a guy as long or as deeply as she did, so who knows? You could feel how complex her emotions were getting as the little web she was weaving became more and more tangled, both the good and the bad emotional experiences. There were times I was groaning at Edie “Girl you gotta talk to someone before you implode!” And Dean, He was an interesting dude, there were a few times I was worried he was gonna pull a douche move because he was getting the feels. But, well you’ll have to check out how he handles not only Edie’s alter ego, but the great revelation... because I don’t do spoilers... but I will say you will enjoy the ride, regardless of the destination... which I won’t tell you about 😏

Slow start

Overall I liked this book, but it took a while for me to get into it. The first few chapters had me thinking hmmm maybe, but then it picked up when the interactions began at After Hours. I honestly didn't like the major lies between best friends, but it made the story more interesting. I'm curious to see how the next book gets past what Con did with Edie. Seems like that could be an issue for Dev, but then again Dean was essentially ok so maybe it's just me.
I liked the characters in the book. They each had their own quirks and their own development, except the roommate. I felt like she was just there.
I liked how everything ended up, I thought it would be worse, but it was just right. I'm looking forward to the next book.

Addicting

I picked this book up this morning and was immediately immersed. This story is so well written, the characters thought out so well down to their small quirks which is one of those things that make you feel like you KNOW them. It left me breathless so many times and not just because of the steam scenes nut because of the RAW emotion written into the story. I love it so much!

I couldn't put it down!

Mrs. Fox you are becoming my new favorite authors. This is the 2nd book of yours that I have read and the cliff hangers you leave us with are cruel lol. I loved this book and there wasn't a part where it was slow or boring. Please continue with books like this as well as the steamy ones your used to writing. Hopefully when someone reads my review they give this book a shot.

Dnf 10%

My eyes were rolling too hard to get any further with this one. A self made billionaire in his twenties who’s built an empire from flogging high end magazines. Yup, print, because that��s going really well. Oh and he owns a secret kinky sex club that nobody knows about. Course he does.

Plus she keeps breaking the fourth wall and appealing directly to the reader. I can see others have loved this but it’s not for me.

The Amazon write up sounded so good but ehhhh a young lady plays a wall flower at work, she is the admin for her BFF & partner at a fashion magazine. She has the lust/hots for her BFF's partner at the magazine. Over hears a couple of models talking about the sex club "after hours" and uses her BFF's name is get a month free pass. Goes in (dressed to kill & a mask) and attracts the partner - as it turns out he only plays with HIS two BFFs. Of course she is a virgin and after they play a little oral "the King" takes her virginity... and then they continue seeing each other as singles - at the club where he ONLY plays with his friends... ehhhh its not until the end that he figures out who she is and HEA.

she does alot of whinning, he is an A$$ and of course his two BFF's are on an ego trip..and get away with alot at the magazine (one is the CFO and the other in Marketing)..book two will be her BFF and one of the friends....who fight constantly in this book....

VERY slow to start - no drama no suspense no anything other than a Flat line story....I stoped and started several times thinking it would get better and it never did....

I absolutely loved this book from the start. There are scenes so hot and at the same time so lovely, where you understand the vulnerability of the MC´s. I prefer the type of writing where you read the perspective of both the MC's, and this book did not disappoint. I became fascinated by Bash (so mysterious...hummm!!). There was a point in the story where Edie does something behind Devina's back, that I thought, for sure, was going to blow up in her face (no pun intended) later on, however, when she's caught, Devina proved to be such an understanding and true friend in the real sense of the word that I almost wept. I did wept though, when Edie, in her insecurity, refused to take off her mask, but in reality I understand her motives. When the End finally came when Dean realizes who she is...Oh dear...I literally had goosebumps all over my body.
Ivy Fox...you have just gained another loyal fan and I'm so anxious for The Prince to be released, because I'm sure that story will be explosive.

Such an amazing book, while Ivy Fox has previously written RH novels I am glad this turned out to by just M/F. The King aka Dean is just too possessive to share his Queen aka Edie, while there were moments it could have become RH I don’t think it would have worked for Edie as she seems to have eyes for only her King.
I loved the book from beginning to end, I didn’t want to stop reading I had to know what happend next. I was sucked into this book from the first chapter, I loved reading it from the characters POV in first person reading how they felt and what was going through their head.
I loved reading about how the King got his Queen, I can’t wait to read about the Prince and how he will get his Princess in the next book.

Holy burning kindle... I won this Gem in one of the contest and I'm so lucky to have been able to read this Gem of a book.. My kindle was burning up , this book had me reading it till the morning hours, it was that awesome!! You just couldn't put it down !! It was a beautiful love story that was mixed with some 50 shades of grey, I like this book a lot better then the grey series, some might disagree, but hey everyone has a right to their own opinion. This book has you laughing and yelling g and swooning all at the same time, I cannot wait to see what happens in the next book, this is gonna get even hotter !! THE KING♡

Another 5 star by ivy fox!! She never fails me. Everytime she releases a book i eat it up. Eddie was fantastical & i really saw a peice of me in her. She is definitely alot braver than i would be in her situation and she doesnt let one thing hold her back. The raw emotion that was in this book made me shed a few to be honest. I loved this journey from start to end and im already ready for another story!! Conners turn to show me what hes got!!

OMG they are truly the definition of the eyes of the beholder couple. Their what each other has been missing for years and all it takes is a little Jen called After Hours, a mask, contacts, and a fake identity. When that all comes crashing down so do they, but they say two hearts that were meant to be will always find each other and they sure did. THIS BOOK SCREAMED CINDERELLA RETELLING IN BOLD LETTERS. When I tell you this is one of the best retellings I have read I’m not lying. This book makes me feel jittery and stirs up a lot of emotions I didn’t think was there like shyness and scepticism. I loved how this was a love at first sight thing between them but Edie was in love with Dean in the very beginning but fell even deeper when she met him at After Hours. Dean is a player with the chicks and isn’t always stuck to one girl rather much fall in love with one. But something changed the night he saw his “PET,” and decided to stalk her for a long period of time and I mean 2 weeks then shot his shot and Edie knew who he was but Dean didn’t know who she was. Edie is a assistant to her best friend Devina and works at a fashion magazine company at The Royal who is in love with Dean Knox who doesn’t even acknowledge her in any way until they meet mysteriously at the After Hour one night and it all changed when he gave her his heart with one kiss and changed his life completely. They’d have pleasure between them but he got a little too nosy asking her name which she told but she told her full name not her nickname which she preferably used. He told her his and they started talking about their families but not getting too far due to the rule of the After Hour saying that no personal things like where you work or where you live to be given at any point in time. But that didn’t stop a tenacious Knox wanting to know who the person he fell in love with and asking questions to which he replied to “Because I want to know the name of the woman I’m falling in love with.” This part me love him even more than I ever have loved any other book boyfriend. SMUT IN THIS BOOK WAS 4.5/5 due to him leaving after her first time completely alone in his suite and the after hour. Definitely going to reread this book soon hopefully and to other I recommend that you please read this book by Ivy Fox due to it not being her normal reverse harem romance.
