Fantastic!

Seriously, after the last book left us on that cliff hanger I wanted to strangle Mark & John for doing that to us, but this book came back with a bang! I'm a huge fan of both of their individual series and I love having Mike Talbot & Jack Walker together. The story line is seamless, the two characters play so well off each other, they were made to be in books together. So I'm super happy with this series. These books never lead you where you think you're headed and that's the fun. I highly recommend picking up the Zombie Fallout & A New World Series, (they're both great) but they also add some depth to this series as background information as to what each character has been fighting in their own worlds. I don't do spoilers, so none here. Just pick this book and the rest of this series up already!

Thanks again Mark & John for another fantastic ride. Now get to writing book 5 already!!!

Always excited for more Mike Talbot, and this one didn't disappoint. The completely bat-shit-crazy misadventure of Mike, Jack and Trip continues across dimensions, realms and realities. The events of the previous books begin to come together in a dilemma which spans across all of space-time itself.

I can't say too much about it without giving anything away; but, suffice to say a few new people(ish) join the fight. Other selves are met, demons join the side of good, angels bring terror, Trip is his usual spacey dichotomy, and the night runners are on their ever-hungry hunt. Welcome to the time-fucked land of Valhalla... not the viking kind, more like a sitcom suburb with a terrible view on personal liberties. At the end, the series is set up for one hell of a sequel.

Got my fix of Alternate Dimensions/Worlds and more.

Another place, another time, the world or worlds are a changin’. Keep seeing double in this one. Always bringing trouble to the world’s they visit, the three troopers navigate a seemingly quiet place, meet people you’ve known and even a very tall one that scares the daylights out of you. Jack’s mind is thrown for a loop in this one. For every secret that you learn two or three take it’s place. Einstein would have loved this series, so many twists and turns. Mike is his usual self, trying to make sense of Trip, and give his normal advice with some sarcasm. Wouldn’t miss these for the world…or worlds in this case. Whistle while you work…

The anguish! To be led up the mountain and left looking over the edge and with a little bump...a slight nudge? I'm dived right over into an unexpected/ expected....cliff hanger. Wish I could say I was surprised but it seems to be the status quo or BAU. I knew it was coming, I knew it! But I still wasn't expecting it when it happened! Over all I love the characters and the direction the story has taken I cannot wait for the next book!

This is turning into a great series as every book introduces you to new worlds & new characters at every tun. What I really like is that there's little hints to other books that both authors have written, it could be a location, a character or even a hint to a future collaboration. Roll on book 5 please.

Like all of Mark's books this didn't disappoint. Trips crazy and mysterious antics our new friend Jack and of course Mike Talbot continue their adventures in an alternate timeline. Along the way we meet some new characters and also get some questions answered but unfortunately have WAY more questions crop up.

The collaboration of 2 authors who excel in their field, with writing styles almost 180 degrees apart, becomes a great series. The authors have teamed up their readers' favorite characters; O’Brien’s, Jack Walker and Tufo's, Mike Talbot. Having become separated they meet up again, together creating a formidable team. Talbot’s peculiar and offbeat friend Tripp is the icing on the cake. A most unusual and unique horror story. Perfect. A must read

Big uptick in action from the lat one. Still hard to care about Jack's perspective more than just a story device but after 4 books I'm beginning to appreciate him as a competent companion for Mike. Less Tripp in this one than one might like but the town and other characters they interact with are vibrant, funny and absolutely not ready for what's coming.

Knocked it outta the park again boys

Another great book. But I wish it was longer.

Your imaginations are phenominal. Some of the imagery you describe is just awesome, although I could do with out some of the visuals.

Can't wait for the next installment!!!!

I loved the book. As always John and Mark did an excellent job. You can feel what they write, I cry every time Jack talks about his children. BUT the cliffhanger????? I need a longer book. Can’t wait for the next one!!

A TALE OF WEIRDNESS IT IS.....

Hello, this story was good but not as good as the others because it didn't have enough "Trip and Talbot" time. I'm sorry to say, but Tufo is the reason I'm reading the story. Thanks.

Valhalla

Mike, Jack and Trip are on the move again, back into danger and unknown situations.
Jack is deadly serious while the duo are mildly insane and often funny.
Good series.
