This books includes the following clichés
* The hero's parents are dead.
* The hero is a prince.
* The hero has such a deep, dark secret that he just can't tell anyone. Except for the heroine, that is.
* The heroine's parents are dead.
* The heroine is a virgin.
* The heroine is beautiful and is perfect in every single way.
* I'm terrible sorry but one should not speak like they have a stick up one's arse. It was terriby unrealistic and repetitive. I thought I was reading a regency romance.
* Cliché scenes: the horse ride, the walk in the garden, the heroine over-hearing gossip about how the hero is a love 'em and leave 'em type of guy etc.
I don't think the couple had any sort of chemistry at all. Notice how I can't remember their names. This book should have been about the heroine's friend and the hero's brother.
