No rhyme nor reason
I felt let down ! I anticipated a good read Jamila but these 39 pages (for $2:99 )did nothing for me. There was no development of the storyline and one sex scene does not maketh a novel. I do believe however these ‘drafts’ ( Thick, Plump, Curvy and Ample) have the potential to become great reads if flushed out more. Also note being a big black woman doesn’t equate to feeling insecure nor having low self esteem.

This was an okay book. Nothing to get all into. It was very short and there really was nothing big about the whole story. A thick girl being in a wedding and was told to lose weight because they wouldn't want to be single and alone at a wedding. Then an ex wants to have dinner because they want to apologize. But the ex is also the baby daddy and was such a bum when they were together. He apologizes and says all the right stuff. She kinda on the fence about the whole thing and then all of a sudden she has forgiven him because she remembers then times they had sex and it was good. They go back to his place and have sex and they are back in love. She wants it to work because now he has his life together and has money now. Not great to me.

Thick
There’s a big difference between thick and obese... but it doesn’t matter if the person is happy the way they are or not.

Insightful,
Courageously,
Kinky-ish
Type of book... I kinda wish that their story was longer leading up to and including this reunion of sorts. Either way, it’s a very good and enjoyable read.

Disappointed (A few spoilers)
Okay so 1st of all this book has 39 pages and they want $2.99. No! Solange is waiting for a date. He turns out to be a ex. He says he's changed and wants her back. He doesn't shows and signs of change before she takes him back. I will stop there because if I continue I will be giving a way the story. This could have been better. By the way I hate giving low rating.

Okay
This was ok. I get the connection of an ex finally getting his stuff together. Seemed rushed with all of that history. With the way the intro was going he should have had to work harder for it.

This was a good short read. I'm glad Tobias finally got himself together and came back for Solange. She was a little hesitant at first cause she didn't believe he'd changed. I bet he showed her.

This is a beautiful story about an estranged couple and finding your second chance. I love Jamila Jasper's characters and the women that she creates. This is a short story that is sexy and hot.

Nice short read!
I love these short stories that allow you to read a quick and fulfilling story on your lunch break. Solange and Tobias had history, reconnected and it was spicy!

Short read...so the cons of those are prevalent.
Nothing really extraordinary about the story. I believe that the other tales combined will make the series interesting.

Too short
There was no ending, no resolution it was just they go on a date together and they have sex then the book ends when they both orgasam. There is no reason why she forgives him aside from he is attractive and rich now.
