Twins separated at birth. One is an assassin and the other is her prey. Magic has been missing for centuries, but a prophecy foretells of its return. Livia and Vera hold the key to its unlocking but neither know the other exists, until a golden mirror appears in their dreams. The reflection reveals a startling truth, and the sisters begin to question everything they've been told. Vera, a feared assassin, is tasked with hunting her twin down. And Livia must find a way to stop her before two kingdoms are destroyed. Blood will war against blood. And a choice must be made.

A wonderful YA Fantasy read. I loved how the story of the twins unfolded with back and forth POV where each storyline contributed to the other. Even though I'm not usually a YA reader, this one kept me turning the pages, and I cared about the characters. Looking forward to the next in the series!
I am not usually a YA reader I tend to like a little more steam in my books but I read the synopsis and this grabbed my attention so I gave it a go and I have to say that I am very glad I did! There are two POV throughout the book from sisters Vera and Livia who both have no idea the other exists until they start communicating through the magical golden mirror (I like how the mirror had a POV in the story also, very different). This book has it all magic, a prophecy, and a splash of romance (PG-rated). If you are looking for a light read that keeps you interested this is the book for you. I will definitely be reading more from this author.

My first time to read a fantasy fiction book and won’t be my last from this gifted author. I look forward to reading more from this magical series about two twins that overcome obstacles while fighting for truth, as they discover their magical abilities and the prophesy to save their kingdoms. A truly page turning novel where you will feel as if you are right there with them during times of triumph and failures.
The story line in this book was great and it really pulled you in. The twins Livia and Vera were separated never knowing the other existed and have led completely different lives within this world. I enjoyed the mix of magic, the prophecy, and what finding each other truly means. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I am really glad i got this book for free on amazon kindle. I really enjoyed this book. A great story of how two sisters come together to defeat a horrible king. I liked the details of the magic and the powers the sisters had. I cant wait to read more by this author.
Well written, action packed and hard to put down. ‘The Gifted Sisters and the Golden Mirror’ is the tale two sisters who discover that the ties of blood are stronger than hidden pasts. This is a fantastic, well plotted story and I look forward to reading more from this author.

I’ll give it 4 stars because, specifically, there was nothing wrong with it. For me, I found it interesting in the beginning, then it just got boring. I think the issue is, I’m just not a fan of YA. Way too sugary for me.
Great Fantasy read. The interpersonal relationships of the characters are fantastic. You will not be bored and you will find yourself rooting for the sisters with everything you have.
Being the author to this story I must give myself props for writing a story I never thought I’d finish. I love how the sisters love were different in their own minds but yet bonded together so perfectly in the end.
