If you thought your school was normal, Nesbit Elementary is the exact opposite. Inside you'll meet Bridgette, who loves to run and rarely stops; Kyle, who lends out his pens and never gets them back; Shannon and Tyler, who are always laughing at the strange events that happen in their school; Derek, the coolest kid in class, with breath stinky enough to stun a cow; and Charlie, who loves food and comic books. As you dodge cockroaches with glowing red eyes, and ghostly teachers who punish misbehaving kids, don't be late to class! Otherwise the ghost of Principal Nesbit will find you and drag you to his office, never to be seen from again!
A must have for every classroom! Laugh out Loud funny and suitable for all ages. Children will love this delightful book! I received a free copy from the author through Voracious Readers Only.
I would like to thank the author for sending me a copy of the book through Voracious Readers Only.
Things I liked: I really liked the plot of this book. It was interesting and because I didn’t know a lot about the book before reading it I was pleasantly surprised by it. It was more creepy than I originally thought it would be, instantly reminding me of goosebumps by R.L.Stine. It got to a point where I couldn’t read this late at night. The characters were likeable and I found myself rooting for them when doing the right thing.
Things that were not my favourite: There were a lot of characters and could be quite hard to keep up with who is who and what their characteristics were and what had a happened to them in previous chapters (occasionally). Also, I wanted more of Principal Nesbit, Mrs Grumple and Mr Norpin!
Overall, it was a good book that I would recommend to anyone who wants a quick, enjoyable read that could easily be done in one sitting!
I thought this book was super cute! It's absolutely perfect for young readers 7+. I think it would be a great read for both boys and girls. The stories were fun and silly with the perfect amount of adventure. I highly recommend this book for elementary kiddos!
I received a complimentary copy of Tall Tales of Nesbit Elementary from the author through Voracious Readers Only. This is a pretty good read for a young adult. It has surprises throughout and a couple of unexpected situations that I Gina youth will enjoy and ring humorous.
The author of this book is a gun nut who just threatened a congressmen he would murder him, via his troll profile. Not exactly the kind of guy I want doing anything with kids in mind
This is a fun, silly, and weird book for kids. The chapters are set up as tales of crazy things that happen to the students. The book doesn't all flow together since there are separate tales (as seen in the title), but the plot can be seen by the end. I think elementary age students would enjoy the silliness of the stories.
I received this book free for review from Voracious Readers Only.
