Exceptional Adventure As We See In Depth The Real Will Slater
I thoroughly enjoyed this incredible story as action, people, relationships and feelings flow together as Will regains his fitness and mental acuity. Deep in the Columbian jungle he set up a house and has worked his body back with intense workouts and regained control of his mind. There are several plots to follow, with amazing characters, and I literally could Not stop reading today until I found myself in tears at the end.... Do not hesitate to grab this story, it is the Best from author Matt Rogers, and considering the others I have read that is saying a lot!! A 5 STAR Story that will have you hooked from beginning to end!!!
While reading this book, you might feel that it's all wham-bam action, but at the core of it, this book has heart that is very rare to see in many action books today. Because those books either go a full-on action path and there is very little character development or a look into the psyche of the characters and what makes them tick.
I've read my share of action novels and there are few that do a good job of achieving a balance between the action and the feelings. And neither of the two feel like they are taking over the other.
So, what is the book about? You can read a description. I can only tell you why you should read this book.
There is action. Plenty of it. And it's physical. Nothing too bombastic, this is not Matthew Reilly level large set pieces. This is up close and personal, man-on-man action where you can feel the punches and kicks flying from the page and every action has its cost. The hero doesn't go through the bad guys like a missile. He gets hurt, sometimes badly, but he perseveres. And that's what makes this one a killer read.
I started this from #4, which doesn't really impact the joy of the book. Everything is well explained even if there have been three books before this one. Now I am reading #5 because when did I ever do anything the right way around?
This book was a killer read. I believe it's the best book Matt Rogers has written in this series and, trust me, I've read every one of them. If you want action, it's there. If you want a great plot, it's there. If you want emotion, it is deep and agonizing for Will Slater. It is truly the first of this series that gets so involved in the personal feelings that are the result of a decision made by Will. This book will leave you wanting more and wishing things could result in different outcomes.
Matt Rogers delivers another adrenaline-fueled installment in the Will Slater series. Set in Colombia initially, the action-packed narrative follows Slater's mission to rescue hostages while unraveling the mysteries of the secretive Lynx program. With relentless pacing and dynamic characters, "Lynx" offers a thrilling ride for fans of action thrillers, despite sticking closely to genre conventions. Overall, it's a gripping read that delivers exactly what it promises: non-stop action and intrigue.
This is one of my favorites of the Will Skater series. It shows the multiple sides of Will and it shows his humanity. He loved a young girl he saved from the slave trade in Macaw. He believed he had set her up to have a normal life, but finds the opposit is true upon meeting a female version of himself in the Colombian jungle, fighting a drug cartel. Will sits out to set the error right and to rescue the girl again. Excellent read!

This is the fourth in the will Slater series and each time there is more to learn about what drives the man. Well written and fast paced. My only reason for not giving it five stars is that I feel the detailed graphic violent encounters could be toned down a bit.
It took me a bit to latch on to Will Slater the same way I did Jason King but man as his story evolves I find him impossible to resist. Lynx was probably one of my favorite stories and I’m hopeful for a ruby spin off...
Matt wrote a very emotional story with a plot that you couldn't figure out until he wanted you to. He brought the past into this story and further developed it. There is more than one story here. I guarantee you'll love this book!
Excellent. Matt Rogers is one of the best authors I have read. Great characters with Jason King and Will Slater. This story was well developed from the beginning and flowed seamlessly to a conclusion. Can’t wait for the next installment.

I like Rogers' style. Slater is often conflicted, but tries to do the right thing. As usual, there's a good mix of plot devopment (with many twists and turns) and action. Looking forward to the next one!
This truly is one of the best of Matt Rogers books. Will Slater is one badass guy, and yet there is an underlying soft spot that seems to come out to help those in need. I highly recommend this book, buy it and enjoy the twists and turns.
Ridiculous amount of verbiage that meant nothing to life but filled a lot of pages. Supposedly the hero was super fast and furious in battle, yet he was defeated in the end. Too far out.
I really enjoyed this book. Will Slater, back again, doing what he does best. Thankfully there's a happy ending now,for Shien. I'm looking forward to the next book already. Keep up the great work.
It felt like it started slow, but once it got going, the story and action was relentless. Ruby was a great new character and as always there was a lot of introspection for Slater. Great novel.
