I have read many of Ms Vaughn's book's and I must admit she has an uncanny talent for creating a scenario where as the reader, you are with the characters, as they experience the effects of how the dramatic events they are dealing with, come into their lives turning everything upside down.
Yet no matter what adventure they find themselves a part of, ending up standing on two feet and turning the situation around is a natural part-time for these polar bears.
Within this Box-set you have two different series that are intertwined together creating a read that is amazing.
Each book can be read as a standalone but if you want to experience the full impact of the people, bear's, clan's and challenging characters then this Box-set will definitely fulfill your requirements.

The Maine black bears put out a magical call for fertile human women with bear genes to come to Maine as mates to their single males so they can have a next generation. All their females are infertile and no babies have been born in twenty five years. Then the bear clan hears from a polar bear clan seeking a safe place as due to polar melting they have lost their land and hunting grounds. With true mate bonds the groups are soon on the same sides just in time to face their biggest battles. This has many stories of how the different clans blend and learn to work together..

I liked this series and I got lucky to have 2 complete sets in 1. I liked all of the suspense that came it. I also liked that it talked about most of the characters and from their point of view. I was upset it didn't give the guys point of view. I loved the love scenes, all of them. Thank you for that.

I love the plot twist in this series. And the author is a good story teller. As you proud along you become part of the clan, and friends with Annie, Clarly, Lucy and their mates. Great series!

Loved, loved, loved this book compilation. I am not a fan of cliffies but put them together in complete story and I can't put it down. Then add next full series and I am in story heaven. Loving the genre and well rounded characters and story line. Well done.
