Rate this book

Other nights they dig their claws into your mind, taking you to places of sheer terror and unfathomable horror. Whether it’s walking through the haunted house while its secrets threaten to keep you prisoner, or staring at the room of mirrors while the deformed faces of circus freaks smile at you with malicious intent—sooner or later you will realize that what you fear most is the evil which waits beneath the surface of your dreams. So, tonight when you lay your head down to sleep, remember to say your prayers…Because you might be mere seconds away from entering…The Carnival of Nightmares.

Loved all the creepy carnival stories. If the carnival wigs you out already just wait till you read these stories. This book will definitely make you think twice before heading out to the fair. Most were fantastically creepy! I enjoyed almost all of them. Can’t wait for more stories.

Oh wow! What a truly creepy and scary group of stories! All written around carnivals, but never your average carnival, at least not what the general public sees. These are the nightmares that creep up on you when you are sleeping.

A great collection of horrifying tales!

I am a huge fan of Horror, always have been and this book was exactly what I needed to get my fix!

In this Anthology, we see creepy carnivals, side shows, messed up people, monsters our minds can't even begin to comprehend, and so much more! Each short story has it's own plot and they are all so well written that it feels like you are living it. I love the detail, the thought that went into each story line, and I love how it had just the right amount of blood and gore to go along with the Halloween season!

A lot of the authors introduced in this book were new to me, but I will definitely be checking them out again! If you love horror, make sure you check out this anthology!

Reviewing It's Molli
You could hate the ending if you are not familiar with or comfortable with the creep factor involved but I think the story is frighteningly real. As usual, Sami Sands writes a great, spooky, creepy story. I loved it.

As with all anthologies, some of the stories were very entertaining while others were lackluster.
It started out slow, but Being Moe was a great story, and Freaks was excellent. Dream Reaver reminded me of a Goosebumps story. Roving Oddities was a delightful tale of revenge.

Very good.

This anthology is far better then expected. The writing craft is top notch. A great theme rich with original stories. There are only a couple of what I would consider not great but even those are better than some complete anthologies that I have read.
