This is a must read . Absolutely adored Grayson & Sally's story . I fell instantly in the with the characters. Sally's strength floored me , she is such an amazing character, the only person that loved her as a child was her grandmother but she always had a great outlook on life. Even with what happened in Sudan she still has the strength to stay positive.
Greyson had a good loving childhood. However with the livelihood that he has chosen he get to see the evil of this world.
When they meet they know there will be no other. Fate & bed choices keep them apart for a while , but true love always finds a way.
Loved this book so much . It's a must read
Crossed Forces & Crossed Paths should be on everyone's book list 💖

I was given an advanced readers copy of this book and have decided to leave a voluntary honest review. This author knows how to write a good book. She digs deep and get to the heart of the story as well as the characters. I loved Greyson from the first book. I was dying to everything and anything about him. And I adored Sally. PTSD ruins a lot of soldiers life's if just treated. These men and women give risk there life everyday for our freedom. They all hero's. And these volunteers are saints they all are such good people. Greyson and Blake and loyal strong men. I also believe most things happen for reason.

Absolutely Amazing!!

Autumn Ruby have written a story about Love and having second chances....I can’t begin to say how much I loved this story...from the very beginning I fell in love with the characters!

Greyson and Sally are destined to be together and can’t help but fight with them...they meet and you know they should be together, but circumstances pulls them away from each other...but later down the line, their paths cross and you know this is the second chance they need!

The whole story took me on a rollercoaster of emotions and the twist and turns at times made me sit there in shock! This story is definitely a 5 ⭐️ read and one I just fell in love with. I love Autumn Ruby’s writing style and the way they’re able to pull you in the story and keep your sucked in to the very end. Amazing read and definitely will recommend to others.

I read the first Crossed Paths book sometime last year and adored every line, phrase and story change that came my way. I devoured Autumn Ruby’s words and saved them in my heart for this day, where I get to share it with the world and all you readers. It was real, raw and perfectly executed as each character has their character flaws and traits and storyline interferences as you get to learn more about them through reading yourself. This isn’t just your typical love story, because it’s not. It’s a story of power, triumph and love. Here is Crossed Paths!

This relationship is unlike any other I have ever read in books. Sally and Greyson fight through the hardest of times as they battle through stereotypes, mental illnesses, love and all together, make them question everything. The characters are well thought out and really feel like real people; as if you are watching two people before your eyes and watching their worlds crumbling down in front of you. Writing about any mental illness is HARD but Ruby handled this book and Greyson’s diagnosis with class, expertise and trust.

They say opposites attract but nothing like this. Greyson and Sally may have been brought up differently, fought different battles and fall down different paths but not matter what, you are reading a story of so much passion you can feel it through the pages. This book left me wanting more, as everyone well-written book should. I love Autumn Ruby’s way with words, the quotable passion and the characters you want to befriend or reach out and hug. I cannot wait to read another Autumn Ruby book. You definitely need to add this baby to your TBR because its a 5/5 from me!

Excerpt from my Crossed Forces review - "Let's just say that if what I read about them in this book is any indication, the couple on the way will have your kindle steaming up.
Oh, how I love a good banter."

Yeah well, I was not wrong but there's so much more to it.

I've read Crossed Forces back in January of this year and I just new I'd be all in when it came time for Sally and Grey's story.
Only I was taken for a loop.

Just like I expected after reading the blurb, it wrecked me.

Definitely one the most heart-wrenching elements of this book, it's the transformation of the before carefree, playful and cocky Greyson , into a broken man.

And life hasn't exactly been easy for Sal either.

It's just heartbreaking to read about all the twists and turns, the low blows they're hit with every time they tried to get themselves up by the bootstraps and live life.

Until it's not.

When " heartbreaking " gives place to " heartwarming " .

And then it's beautiful. Two people who love each other, fighting their personal demons, together.

With all the second guessing, all the doubts and all the pain; they still pull through.

Once again, Autumn Ruby killed it with this beautiful second chance story; you will not want to miss it.

Next book? Do you really need to ask? Oh, I'm here for it. A little more prepared, I think.
Maybe not. It's fine.
Plus, where's the fun in not having the rug be pulled from under your feet?
Exactly, that's part of a reader's life and I thrive on it.
I can't wait.

Sally and Grey are AWESOME! I love this story and this couple. They represent the true definition of resiliency. They have survived some real hardships and are haunted by the past. Even though Sally’s childhood wounds helped her develop amazing strength, it also made her doubt her worth. Grey’s experiences from his days in the service has caused some brokenness that takes a toll, making him question everything. Angsty, sexy, and touching are all elements of this story. Intrigue ran high throughout this book and made it difficult to put down. This is a stand-alone read but is part of a series. Ugh this author seems to excel at leaving you with a couple questions... my guess is it will tie into a future read (eek). I can’t wait! Happy Reading!

Autumn Ruby both wrote a brilliant story! Crossed Paths had all the feels for me! I felt so much for Greyson & Sally for all they endure and lost! I was so happy that these two got their second chance because they are perfect! Loved Sally helping Greyson fight his PTSD! Perfect ending and can't wait for more! A must read! Also loved the snippets we got on Candice & Blake's life through out the story!

WOW
What a great story totally fell in love with Sally and Grayson. There love story was a tale I just couldn't put down. I fell more and more in love with the couple the more they struggled. Grey ptsd is handled with such care and was just used to enhance the story. It made me want to help him even when he was pushing away those who love him. Sally is my kinda girl. Even with her weird obsession with leopard print. I feel there is still more to come with Sally and Grayson story. More to discovery about her family. Im keeping my fingers crossed for a book 2.

I was sent a free copy of this book to review, but all opinions are my own.

I really enjoyed reading this book, it is a sequel to “Crossed Paths”, the story continues- but now in Greyson’s and Sally’s POV, as they continue their work in a Peace Centre in South Sudan. But when Sally has to leave Bor, we start to wonder whether Gray and Sally will ever see each other again.

Suddenly, Gray is diagnosed with PTSD and relieved of his army duties. Miraculously their paths cross again. But will Greyson stop shutting himself out from those who care about him?

*Cue Tense Music*

I think this story is a really good reminder that love can survive through tough times and no matter what you have endured or lost, there is always someone out there who can make it better, or help you through it.

I would recommend that you read this book, if you like stories packed full of action, but also don’t mind if it gets a little bit saucy… Yes, this may not be the kind of book that you read in front of your parents, or on a busy bus (unless you want the windows to steam up)  but it definitely is a must read!

What can I say..... my mind was BLOWN AWAY!!

Everything I expected from this story was nothing compared to the amazing story I have just read.

It’s so much more than just greyson and Sally’s love story. It’s the struggles of everything from their past and how they deal with it.

Greyson had a nice normal childhood but after years in the army it takes its toll on him, struggling with his ptsd, he fights to get back to himself.

Sally had the opposite childhood to greyson, even after everything that happened in Sudan she comes out strong, sassy and ready to take on the world!

Such an amazing book! Greyson has my heart ❤️

Autumn Ruby's second book was equally as fast paced as the first one. Sally and Greyson are all the swoony romance feels. I'm a girl that loves words, so here are a few that I loved here:

"When it's dark, look for stars." EEK! I love this line.
"You're my anchor, Greyson. You are where I belong."
"She has a way of making me feel comfortable in my own skin, scars and all."

I received an ARC of this book from the author, but the review is my own.

Crossed Paths is the first book I’ve read by Autumn Ruby.

I pretty much went in blind. From the very first page I was completely hooked. They only thing that threw my off, just a little, was the English (UK) different sayings. Such as whilst and mum. It’s not to say that it took anything away from my enjoyment of the book. It just took me a few pages to get used to it.

I enjoyed the story. The characters were great. Military books are great and this one was awesome!

After being so hooked on crossed forces. I had to dive straight in to crossed paths.
I’ll be honest I wasn’t sure if the author could continue the same emotions created by crossed forces.
Although this book follows the story of greys on and sally, who are sub characters in crossed forces. It stirs just as many emotions. I’m even more in love with sally as I was candice. And I can’t decide which leading man I fell in love with most.
I’m so unbelievably excited for the next instalment.
I loved this book so much I kinda became a fan stalker of autumn ruby!!!!

*A copy of this book was gifted to me from the author and I freely give my honest review*

I liked this story but in the beginning I felt a little lost, where was the main character, what was happening? However it was all made clear eventually.

This is what I liked:
* Good storyline
* The characters are well described and their feelings comes through very clearly
* No unnecessary descriptions of surroundings and plenty of dialogues
* Love scenes was sweet and steamy

There’s a vulnerability in the story that made it intense.

Strong 4 stars 🌟

Crossed Paths was different from other military books I've read before, in more ways than one.

I really enjoyed reading about British soldiers and volunteers who go to countries to help for a change and their challenges. It was also interesting to learn more about the situation in South Sudan, since some things were inspired by true events.

Autumn Ruby did Grey's story justice, focusing on his struggles, dealing with PTSD, and how it affected the people who care about him, as well.

Unfortunately, I did have a problem with the way Sally's storyline was structured and handled. Up until about halfway and later in the story, many things were either still unclear or didn't make sense which left me with so many questions. However, most were explained by the end of the book. There were also parts that dragged a bit and others that felt rushed.

Regardless, Greyson and Sally went through so much and I loved their own version of a HEA and how they stayed true to themselves through it all, especially Sally.
I also appreciated how unique the characters were and how different the story was, which is why it bothers me that I didn't connect with the characters or the story. It was however a very memorable read, so I might be giving the next book in the series, Star Crossed Lovers, a chance.

Crossed Paths is a beautiful story about Greyson and Sally. Sally, although young, is a remarkable character. She has one love in her life that has truly loved her, Sally is a grandma’s girl. While volunteering, she has an incredibly horrible incident that has happened to her. Despite this, she has maintained her positive attitude. She is truly a character that displays much strength.

Greyson is a military man who is stationed in the same region as Sally. We are first introduced to him in the Blake’s story (book 1). Through his travels, he has experienced some of the worst of the worst scenarios. From their first interaction, it is obvious that Greyson and Sally are meant to be together. However, not all relationships are picture perfect. Their relationship is full of ups and downs, emotional distress and twists and turns. This is a wonderful second chance romance story!

Crossed Paths ruined me in the best way possible. There were times where I cried right along with the story and wanted to shake my kindle in frustration! Autumn Ruby wrote another great book!

Incredible, amazing, fantastic are just a few words to describe this book. This is Greysons story and how he meets his one true love. It takes you back to Bor, to Crossed Forces to where things chance for Greyson and how he met Sally. This book shows how life changes people, takes a hold but you have to live life for you and for the ones you love.

The book is full of love, passion, chemistry, lust, danger, raw emotion, living life to the full and putting your life on the line.

An amazing and emotional book that you will love reading xx
