What stayed with me most after reading *Viewability* is Tom Breeze’s focus on timing rather than visibility alone. Many marketing books concentrate on reaching more people, but this book repeatedly returns to a more nuanced question: how do you reach the right person at the moment they are most receptive to your message? That idea gives the book its direction and separates it from broader discussions of digital advertising.

What makes the book particularly effective is the way it combines platform specific tactics with insights into customer behavior. Breeze does not present YouTube as simply another advertising channel. Instead, he explores how video, targeting, and intent can work together to create meaningful interactions. The discussions around selling moments, audience segmentation, and adapting creative approaches to different customer types help connect strategy with execution. Throughout the book, there is an ongoing emphasis on relevance over reach.

This book will resonate with marketers, entrepreneurs, agency professionals, and business owners looking to understand how video advertising fits into customer decision making. By the end, the strongest takeaway is that successful advertising depends less on interrupting attention and more on appearing when attention is already searching for an answer.

Forget Your Highlighter When Reading This Book......

I started highlighting important concepts until I realized that I was highlighting about 75% of the paragraphs/words. Rarely is there a book that is packed with great tips and concepts that you may as well just re-read it again in its’ entirety because there’s not a lot of “fluff”. My kind of book. Bravo, Tom!

When I bought this book I surely had higher expectations than this book delivered to me. It's quick reading and to my mind, It could have been more in-depth about how to scale campaigns. Nevertheless, I do like "ADUCATE" philosophy and marked some insights on that as tips for video script writing.
