PRISONER OF PASSION Beautiful and determined Jessica Morgan abandoned the civilized world of St. Louis for the wild Wyoming Territory, in search of the Either she had never known. Instead she finds Steve Kincaid--a man as rugged and magnificent as the savage western plains, who awakens in Jessica a fierce, reckless yearning.
PRISONER OF LOVE A handsome but infuriating cattle baron, Kincaid would go to any lengths to make Jessica yield to his ardent, fevered caresses. But even as he holds her captive in a remote cabin, the proud eastern beauty refuses to submit to the raw, hot passion she is powerless to deny--until the virile womanizer proves his eternal love to her...and to her alone.
Ugh… I hated the h. She was so stubborn and idiot. I agree the H was very domineering but he was crazy for her. Loved the way he was crazy for her. The h kept running away from the H. I mean all she does in the book is keep running away from him. And why is she running because he decided to forget the money her father owes to him. Now she thinks he is buying her. Then later she is running away because he hasn’t spoken the three golden words. Also the last straw with the h was she hid their son from him. She literally gave birth and was hiding the baby from him. Why ….because she thinks he will take the baby away from her. Seriously? Why would he do that. He is all crazy for her and infact wanted her to get pregnant. The h was full of delusions.
The H might be too crazy and psycho for some but I kinda liked him. Well he did some wrong things I agree like he whacking the h at her head to kidnap her. But…. Okay I know that was wrong.
I liked this book at first (though both the H and h got on my nerves at times) because it was pretty entertaining, but then it got on my nerves. I got sick of the h using their son as a weapon. I could understand at first, when he didn't know she was pregnant, that she was afraid he'd want the baby and not her but after he got to know and love his son, she decides to take off and leave with the baby because she thinks the H doesn't love her. True, he never said he did but she never told him she loved him, either. To take his son away because she thinks he doesn't love her when he's being a good father is just selfish, not to mention crappy!
I stopped reading, because she didn't deserve a HEA.
