My copy of this book is extensively highlighted, tabbed, and dog-eared. Not only does the book contain detailed information about the various steps and processes within instructional design, but also provides many forms, templates, and checklists. This book will continue to be a well-used resource, not only in my future coursework, but my work in the field of instructional design.

Great text for new or student instructional designers

I partially read this text in graduate school and finished it after graduation. I think this is a useful text for entry level instructional design programs. I would also recommend this book in hard copy format over ebook as it is difficult to read the many charts and graphs provided. I would also recommend buying the latest edition as the technology information changes. Clearly written and well organized.

This is a solid text, and it provides a strong overview of the Instructional Design process. Not an overly challenging read, I appreciated that the author did not fill the book with jargon.

Book is great; the index of topics in the back is terrible, missing many keywords and concepts from the text.
