T. A. resides in Detroit, Michigan with her five children, and the rest of her dysfunctional family, where she was born and raised. She started her writing career in the midst of a very hard time in her life and is now a best-selling author. Her debut and award-winning novel, Witch Wars, and the world of Underlayes, was born from a mind that desperately needed an escape, so she created one.

The novel was inspired by her love of all things paranormal and how she wanted it seen. “We live in a diverse world, shouldn’t all of the characters in books, even paranormal also be diverse,” she says. “I saw so few paranormal books with a diverse cast until I read L. A. Banks. You know, with more than one or two diverse characters thrown in for good measure. Mine have it all, too.”

A mother of five beautiful children, but by far more than just that. T. A. Moorman is an artist, a violinist, a seamstress, a crafter, a writer, a blogger, a reviewer, a dark confidant and a darkly dangerous, fiercely protective friend.

This was a short but sweet romance that I really enjoyed. These characters were so easy to fall in like with. If this had been longer, I could have become more invested in these characters. Everyone needs a Chase to fall in love with. He is almost every girls dream come true. I loved Mama...wish we had more of her, she was a hoot!

For such a short story, it really packed a punch and contained a nice, strong story line. The descriptions to details were done nicely (but would have loved for this to have been longer). The characters were entertaining and the dialogue flowed nicely and was comical at times.

This does have a HEA ending.

I enjoyed reading Wait, You Did What? by T.A. Moorman. It was a short and fun read. I would of liked there to be more to their story however it was a good novella. The characters were likable and the plot was alright too. I think others would enjoy this story as well.

Wow, this is excellent!! What a wild, fun and sexy ride to love. Chase is so bold and determined, not to mention sexy. Very exciting and entertaining plot with a surprise twist and loads of laugh out loud moments, very enjoyable romance. This is the first time that I have read a story by this author and I already love the writing style and will be seeking more from this talented author.

Oh, so good romance! Why can't all love stories be like this? I loved Justine and Chase immediately. The way Chase does what he does just to keep the woman he loves by his side is worthy of a big sigh after reading.

Justine is in charge of helping to plan her brother Max's wedding. Not everything goes as planned. I don't want to give away any spoilers, so let's just say this is very sexy and hot. The author does a fabulous job with a creative plot and well-developed characters you will want to revisit again. Readers who love spicy romances should give this a try.

Justine has a wonderful life. She has her dream job, makes lots of money, has loving and supportive parents, and is very close with her brother. The only thing she doesn’t have is a love life. After a slew of dating jerks who used her for her money, she all but gave up on finding her forever. That doesn’t mean she won’t help her brother with his.

When her brother drops a bombshell on her, she is ready to help him make it happen. He was getting married in a couple weeks and it was a destination wedding! Justine hated flying but she had to be there for her brother.

Chase, who is Justines brother's best friend, has been in love with Justine since they were kids. Year after year went by of him watching her date all the wrong guys. Justine was going to drive to the wedding instead of fly, now was his chance. He convinced her that she shouldn’t drive all alone and even convinced her to make it fun along the way.

Off they went, in a limo no less. Will Chase be able to finally tell Justine how he feels? Does Justine feel the same way?

I loved Justine as a character. She’s independent and sweet. I liked how the author put in some commentary about Justine’s thought process. There was romance, sass, a bit of steam, and even a few nerdy references. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It was a cute quick read. My only issue was there were a few red flags about Chase and how he went about things. I was rooting for them up until that point and then I was disappointed in him.

As with Ms. Moorman’s other stories, Wait, You Did What? (WYDW) is a fun read and an interesting story. I liked the characters, and I enjoyed joining them on their ride through the story, no pun intended.

Unfortunately, I found a decent number of errors while reading WYDW, which for me is a turn off and instantly drops a review score down a point. There is no indication that my copy is an ARC, so I don’t think there will be additional edits before it’s re-published. With that said, I think WYDW could use another look-over by a copy-editor.

I feel a little odd writing this, as the author is African-American, but a few of the characters, especially Mom and Pops, felt a little stereotypical to me. However, that may just be because I’m an outsider to the culture. I grew up in a predominately Hispanic neighborhood and am well aware that some stereotypes can be true.

WYDW is certainly worth a read if you’re looking for a short, feel-good story. You can just relax and giggle at the shenanigans the characters get into.

Loved it

A laugh out loud, fun, fast paced Rom Com. Justine and Max grew up in a Detroit middle class neighborhood. They made it big. Max a billionaire app designer and Justine an author who also runs a successful publishing company. They still live in town, have the same friends and hang out in the same places.
Max has a surprise. He is getting married to a woman he met at a Comic Con. While it's sudden, their is no doubt they are in love. They want to get married in a few weeks, they have a future cos player on the way. Justine and their friends are going to make it happen.
When planning a rush wedding their are bound to be snags. Like the wedding dress being sent to the wrong store, in Ohio. Justine with the help of Max' s best friend Chase are off in style to get the dress.
Chase has crushed on Justine since high school. Her fear of flying gives him the chance to spend some time with her on a luxury road trip.
In the end, he just may convince the women he love to be his wife, even if it takes a game of truth or dare and a bet.

T.A. Moorman is a new author to me.   There were times whilst reading the story that I did laugh out loud literally. There was humour in the book although since we're from different cultures, I'm a Brit and the author is a US citizen that our senses of humour do not match.  I like the premise of the storyline where Justine's brother is getting married in a two week rush when he meets the woman of his dreams and she and his best friend, Chase, will do all they can to make the wedding perfect for them. Unfortunately the dress has been sent to the entirely wrong place hundreds of miles away and as Justine is terrified of flying she goes on a road trip[ [talk about chauffeur and luxury Hummer]with Chase and they play Truth or Dare as he is determined to make her finally HIS as he's been in love with her for years. Some things a bit contrived but were fun so who cares?  I did like the characters. Some careful editing needs to take place please. When Justine’s brother Max decided to announce his engagement to Chelsea in a karaoke bar, Justine’s jaw about hit the floor. Worse? They are getting married in a couple of weeks! Worst of all? He hasn't told their parents. After the hilarious family drama ceased, everyone got busy on making the wedding happen on time. A few snags along the way arose since it wasn’t going to happen in their home state and Justine finds herself in a decked out stretch hummer with Chase, who’s secretly crushed on her since high school. Spending time with Chase turned out to be the best she's ever had. Their chemistry was through the roof. A bet leads to a quick marriage but do they want to get it annulled? Even if it could cause a rift between her brothers friendship with Chase? I love this story! This is a romantic comedy you just have to read. The detail is crystal clear, the characters well rounded. The storyline pulls you in, not letting you put it down for one second. A must read!

💍 Book Review: Wait, You Did What? by T.A. Mooreman

This book was sooo good, baby. From the moment mama said, I know he didn’t bring me home a white girl,” I literally died laughing. The humor, the family dynamics, the little messy moments—it all felt real and had me hooked.

But what really made it chef’s kiss? The way he played the long game. Taking her to Vegas, marrying her, and then revealing it was all his plan? Genius. And then topping it off with the family video before giving her the ring? Whew, that was creative, thoughtful, and romantic as hell.

This story had heart, had spice, and had me grinning from ear to ear. It’s funny, it’s wild, and it still gave me the warm fuzzies at the end.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
(For the laughs, the love, and that big surprise ending)
“Vegas, vows, and one hell of a plan—he didn’t just marry her, he outsmarted her heart.” 💍🔥

This is the first book by this Author I have read and I loved it, I found myself laughing throughout the story. Justine thinks that Chase and she have to go after her brother's fiancee's wedding dress because it got delivered to the wrong boutique and she hates to fly so they hire a outstretch hummer with a chauffeur to drive them from one state to Hersey Pennsylvania. Along the way, they play Truth or Dare and end up on a Dare getting married. What happens as they get closer to where Justine's brother Max is getting married will Max be happy for his sister and best friend or will something else happen? I would recommend this book. I received a copy of this book and I am voluntarily reviewing it.

So romantic!!

When Justine's brother Max announces he's getting married in two weeks, all friends and family scramble to help them. Unfortunately, the bride's dress was accidentally sent to a dress shop in Ohio! So, Justine has to go pick it up by way of driving, because planes scare her. However, Chase does not let her go alone, instead opts to hire a limo driver for their trip.

All I will say is that things heat up during a game of truth or dare, when Chase confesses that he has been in love with Justiene since high school. So much has happened by the time they meet back up with the wedding party. Sorry, no spoilers here!

You must add this book to your library!! The character's are so likeable and funny!

An interesting story with a novel approach to a love story. Justine (who refuses to fly) and Chase (her brothers best friend) embark on a luxury limosine journey from Detroit to Hershey PA in order to pick up a wedding dress in Ohio for her brothers fiaince. Her brother and his fiaince have just announced they're getting married next week and everyone has to pull everything together at the last minute. Of course, there are a few adventures along the way for Justine and Chase AND a surprise ending.

A quick enjoyable read, if you do not mind instant love which I do not (I mean, if you want to read non-fiction, open a newspaper.) I felt that the author had the ability to convey some depth to the personalities of the characters bringing a greater sense of reality to her story. It is what I think of as a warm fuzzy and I would love the novel expanded because it would be nice to live a while in their world.

On a road trip from Detroit to Hershey for her brother’s wedding, Justine and Chase, who have known each other since high school, get to spend some quality time together. He has been in love with her for years and has just not found the right time to tell her. It’s very cute from the snarky parents to the weird friends. Fast pace and very entertaining!!

This was the perfect short read. It was fast-paced, and I was cackling. There are so many twists and turns and road blocks, yet such a beautiful HEA at the end. The ending caught me by surprise, but it was well worth the journey there. A great little lunchtime read for my girlies that love a short story.

It was about two people that ended up being brought into sex trafficking. One to write a story and the other being tricked into it. There was a before and after written into the plot. I would recommend this book to anyone over18 who is unafraid of a dark story about a very real issue.

Another entertaining read from an author who knows how to write romantic comedy. This was a laugh out loud read with fun dialogue and great characters. It is a very fast read...which I thought was disappointing. I wasn't ready to leave this fun entertaining world the author created.

So much fun

Loved it, right down the twist at the end. These two were made for each other, just she was too stubborn to admit it, good thing he had a plan, a plan that was fool proof.
