Sheikh Bawaar Al-Wakhrani was once again bothered by a phone call at his North American operations base in Houston. His wife, Renita, had filed for divorce – but she still felt free to call and bother him whenever she felt like doing so. He had signed the divorce papers her lawyers had just faxed over. But now she has decided they need a Christmas party in the new American office and she will attend as his wife, delaying the divorce until January. He told her he would have the party, but the divorce was a done deal, the papers signed. And she had no further royal privileges.
Queenie Quinn had just moved from Juno, Alaska, and joined the janitorial staff at this new office. Because of the Christmas party, Queenie would have to work that night to clean up afterward. Her boss would be attending church, so that meant Queenie was on duty.
As she rode up in the elevator with her mop bucket, a tall handsome man got on. When the elevator made a rough stop, Queenie knocked the bucket into his shin when she lost her balance. Water spilled all over his handmade shoes! She grabbed paper towels and frantically dropped to her knees to wipe off his shoes. One thing after another had the two of them laughing and enjoying the situation they found themselves in.
Queenie and the Sheikh start to enjoy each other’s company. But Renita isn’t finished with him yet apparently. What is she up to? How far is she willing to go? And Queenie’s past also presents unexpected problems. After almost losing her, will the Sheikh and Queenie establish their relationship, the kind he has always wanted, and find their HEA?
This is a funny and enjoyable book. There is plenty of intrigue and suspense coming from all directions, and this keeps the reader attentively involved in the story. The good guys and bad guys are very well depicted, and Queenie will soon become a favorite! She is strong and feisty and a perfect match for her boss. Join in the fun and be ready to laugh out loud!
Another great read…So much drama…so much hanky, panky!!! Ms. Winters never disappoints. Another great well-written, intriguing story with so much drama and angst…not to mention the bedroom, garden, shower, oh heck, everywhere scenes, wink. The book opens with a fuming mad Sheikh Bawaar Al-Wakhrani getting a divorce from his frigid wife of ten years, Renita with no offspring to be heir to the throne. He’s fuming b/c he’s given her EVERYTHING that she asked for but is still bothering him. BBW Queenie left Juno, Alaska where she was born and raised to make changes in her life and leave behind many mistakes. She and the Sheikh “meet” on the elevator of his building where she is the janitor. The Sheikh gets visibly turned on by her full breasts. This scene is OTT entertaining. What transpires is unbelievable. Is the Sheikh using Queenie to thwart Renita and to get sexual favors? But wait, Renita is up to something. Is she lying? What does she want? She has allied herself with a not-always-scrupulous security firm owner. What could that mean? Along with all this intrigue we find the Sheikh enjoying a HOT sexual liaison, the kind he’s always desired, with Queenie. Will they get their HEA? LOVED this book. It is highly recommended if you like HOT with your mystery, “bad guys” getting what they are due and surprise endings. I volunteered to review an Advance Reader Copy of this book through Booksprout.
When I started to read the story, I was interested. Then I got to know the characters better and found that there were parts of their personalities that I did not like. Sheikh Bawaar is a strong alpha male. He is quick to anger but somehow is able to function and make wise decisions despite of it. Bawaar's love interest is Queenie Quinn. On the one hand she can be determined and forceful. Sometimes when she speaks, she can be tactful or tactless. Some things she tends to over analyze things on an intellectual level. Other things when pertaining to herself are often harsh and self-deprecating. I was not sure whether I liked her or not. Her negativity about herself and her personal life was not appealing. Also, she seemed to have an uncontrollable impulse to play with fire not often but when she did, she seemed to delight in the action. Then we have Bawaar's ex-wife Renita. She is the biggest drama queen I have ever read. She is a manipulating vengeful person. Then the author throws in people from Queenie's past that did not make sense to me. This story is centered around Christmas and in the end of the book there were confessions of wrong doings and forgiveness. I really did not like this Sheikh story. Too much negativity for my taste. This is a Christmas Sheikh story about Queenie and Sheikh Bawaar. It starts with the Sheikh finally getting a divorce after 10 years of a loveless marriage from Renita. They do not end on a happy note as she is always trying to dig at him in the public eye. Queenie is from Alaska and leaves behind her past and all her bad decisions. She ends up in Texas working as a janitor for the American based company for the Sheikh. Queenie and the Sheikh meet by accident in the elevator and the chemistry and attraction between them is one of a kind. Bawaar wants to take what he wants, Queenie and Queenie sees the need in his eyes! I loved the interactions between them through out the story. Things between them get serious quickly and with Renita making a scene at the office party on Christmas Eve, Queenie wants to walk away but Bawaar gets her his way. There are lies, evilness and mysterious threats from those wanting to hurt each Queenie and Bawaar. Once Bawaar and Queenie realize what’s going on and who are involved do they go after them to end their threats and in doing so they find the strength to love and forgive to move forward for all the right reasons. Can all the hurt really go away once the truth is revealed? I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
A janitor meets her boss in the elevator. Her boss is a sheikh and king (do they not have a country to run so why buy a company?) who is just in the middle of a nasty divorce. Unlike many men in the billionaire romance world this guy had been faithful to his wife and only slept with that woman and due to being raised by the four wives of his diseased father possesses a healthy respect for women. The writer must have had the biggest fun writing the story. On several occasions she makes fun of the genre. Somewhere the sheikh remarks that it was brought to his attention that there existed a whole subgenre in romance novels dealing with men like him. On another spot the woman is thinking that only in cheap romance novels a janitor becomes the lover of a prince and then only after having had the most unbelievable adventure first and that in real life the world does not turn like that. Do not expect a serious book. It is a fun read when you are in the mood for a story about a hot man and some light adventure. If you do not like to read books with action mentioned between certain body parts then you should skip this one. I received a free copy from the writer via Booksprout but was free to write an independent review if I wanted to.
I received this book as a gift of and advanced read copy and I would like to give an honest opinion what I read.
This is really good and complicated book about some very complicated people. I kept me wondering what would happen next or I should say what Queenie would do next. It was amazing to see her transformation into the woman that she became after all that she had been though. Also to see Bawaar Sheikh of Wakhrani become the person that he was meant to be but had been held back by his ex wife Renita. Usually I would go into a little bit of detail about the book to help a person to get to know the characters a little bit more to get other readers introduced to the story line. To do this about this book would have spoilers all over everything that is in the book. I will say that there is so much revenge and hate in this story where other people blamed Queenie for their problems when they were just using her as an escape goat. I will say that I was surprised by the ending but it makes more sense as you read they book and notice the season that it is written in. It is a really good thought together book and one that I recommend reading.
Christmas is the time for giving. But in this story Christmas is the time for sex, kidnapping, and all kinds of mayhem. The story is packed with sexual chemistry, twist and turns, you will not want to stop reading until the end.
This is a story about a not so average girl Queenie Quinn running away from all her problems in Alaska and finding herself in a elevator on her knees with a Sheikh. The Sheikh has his own share of problems in the form of the Shikha Renita who he has recently divorced. Meeting under the mistletoe for the second time will Queenie and the Sheikh keep running or work their problems out together?
This has been an enjoyable read. Not a all what I expected from the title. If you are looking for something more than just a romance this is it!

5 stars I received a free copy of the novella Mistletoe for the Sheik: The Janitor From Juno: Curves for the Sheiks book 17 by Annabell Winters and this review was given freely. An unexpected slant: A divorced Sheikh followed by a twisted and steamy plot filled with betrayal and secrecy. On the day of his divorce from a loveless marriage, Sheikh Bawaar meets the disgruntled new janitor Queenie, a pyromaniac who recently moved from Alaska, in an elevator at his new headquarters in Texas, USA just before Christmas. Action packed and dramatic with one awkward meeting after another followed by a complex whirlwind of violent and steamy encounters that bring heartache but ultimately end happily.

Romance under the mistletoe This is my 8th book by the author and I love her Sheikh stories. Bawaar has just signed his divorce papers when his wife presents him with a surprise at his company Christmas party. Queenie relocated from Alaska to escape her past and takes the janitor job at Bawaar’s company where she has to work during cleaning up for the party. But when the two accidently meet under the mistletoe, will their kiss lead to something more? You have to read to find out through the twist and turns to the plot.
I will be honest right from the top... This wasnt my favorite of Annabelle's books. There were times the twists and turns got so complex, i got confused. BUT...it still had most of the things i look for in a good dirty novel. An alpha man who has to think twice before acheiving full dominance over his woman. Insanely hot and sexy moments, sometimes stupid hot. Yup, i still would recommend this book. Happy reading! Rating 4 stars

Bawaar's ex decided before their divorce is final she wants to play wife once more and have a Christmas party at the new office. Queenie is the janitor at Sheikh Bawaar's new American office and has to clean up after the Christmas party. I love the way the author brought these two together, not a romantic way to meet but funny. This is an entertaining, humorous story with an ex that won't give up and a Sheikh with his Queenie. I am loving these Sheikh books! I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.
The mistletoe doesn’t play as big a role as I expected. But it is X-mas time so it works. Queenie has issues, most of them not her fault. The sheikh has problems of his own, very complicated. Of course that leads to some drama but more important they had heated exchanges. No predictable ending, well only partly I guess.
I liked the other books in the series more because I missed the swoon-factor in this one.
I voluntarily offered to review this book with no obligations and my opinions are honest! It was a great book! It totally a fairytale story. You have the prince ( Sheikh Bawaar Al-Wakhrani ), the princess ( Queenie Quinn ), and the evil witch ( Renita ) Will the Sheikh + Queenie get their HEA ? It has all the ingredients that you need for a great book! I can't wait for the next book in this series.
Mistletoe for the Sheikh is another fantastic book for Annabelle Winters!
I had a heard time putting the book down once I started to read it! I love the interaction between Queenie and Sheikh Bawarr. There's great drama, extremely well written story line and plenty of steam! Highly recommend it because this isn't your typical story!

A well-written Christmas story in the Curves for Sheikhs Series, I enjoyed reading it. Janitor Queenie Quinn meets Sheikh Bawaar sometime I would like to tell her to give her attitude a tune up she came across just a little to caustic at times. Absolutely loved the book. Full of drama and comedy and suspense. Loved Barwar and Queenie's characters and the chemistry between the two. Loved the humor and comaraderie they shared. Lovely ending on forgiveness.

Right off I’ll say... I really enjoy all of the books from Annabelle Winters, this one I really REALLY liked.
A spirited young woman meets an Alpha man, who is a Sheikh... sigh. What’s not to fall in love with ???? Except the crazy ex wife and a former liver turned stalker, those aren’t needed except in this story it all works, comes together and everyone feels the spirit of Christmas and forgives past mistakes. Such a great story
Sassy, SEXXY, funny and a bunch of learning and coming together (no pun intended)
She is a cleaner and she is sent to clean an office and she is shocked when she sees him standing under the mistletoe. What will she do? Will she miss him? What will happen if she does? See if fireworks to off
