Now we fight together as wolves, but that might be what tears us apart. My name is Brie, and now I'm a full member of Cayden's pack. We're responsible for protecting our town's borders from the Savage Wolves, evil shifters who have no regard for human life. Cayden's vow to protect human life is as strong as his need to protect me.But I don't like being protected. I don't need it. I'm not that weak human girl I was before. But then the Savages infect a student, ensuring a new plague at the full moon. We have a week to figure out how to stop it.In light of the new danger, Cayden's emotional scars rise to the surface. Guilt over losing his family, and most of all, fear for me. And his wounds run deeper than I imagined, waiting for me to untangle them. Cayden needs my help, and I need him to see me as more than the little girl he once saved. The only way I can do that is to break pack law and reject the alpha.

Pack Bound is the second book in the Alpha Legacy series and starts right where book 1 ended. Brie and her aunt are trying to adjust to being a wolf and being in a pack and Cayden is adjusting at being an Alpha all while there is threat lingering. Will they overcome this threat, together? I absolutly loved it!! Can't wait to start book 3!!!

I just went on a binge-reading frenzy, devouring books 2 (Pack Bound ), 3 (Magic Bound) and 4 (Alpha Bound) of Holly Hook’s wonderful The Alpha Legacy series. These totally addictive (I think my need to binge attests to that) beauties were definitely worth it. It’s all the fault of Wolf Bound where I was first introduced to Brie, the series heroine, and her guy, pack alpha Cayden. I just couldn’t start there. Now by book 2 Brie is fully in the pack and her bond with Cayden is strong - just the lure needed by those who are not friends. Over the next three volumes comes a thrilling adventure with Savage Wolves, warlocks and more twists and turns that cursed and Brie might be destined. The Savage King may seem to hold the cards. But don’t, do not, loose faith. Betting against Brie is a losing proposition. No more running. This is their territory and their world - they will to fight. They will keep the darkness out - and we readers will get the benefit through wonderfully written books with great characters and superb plots that fit into a really fantastic overarching story arc. But for the fact that I’m literally dictating this review to my husband from my hospital bed I could go on and on with praises - these books definitely deserve it. Since I can’t do that I will simply note that each book is most definitely “one to read”, and each is easy to highly recommend.

The second book picks up shortly after the events in the first. The Lowes, Brie & her Aunt May are adjusting to their new normal after the fright with the savage wolves. At first there is happiness Brie finally feels as if she belongs with Cayden. The happiness is short lived as two problems steer the plot: the possibility of Olivia being turned into a savage wolf & Cayden’s grief and guilt driving his actions away from pack & Brie. Brie also struggles to balance her old “normal” life with her new. Will she have to give up her friends to keep them safe? Will Olivia turn? Will Brie and Cayden be able to recover and have a bit of a hea? Pick up your copy to find out some of the answers. Eagerly awaiting the next installment of Brie and Cayden’s story in book three!
I received an ARC for free from the author. I voluntarily review this book. This is my honest review.

The Alpha Legacy continues on strong with the second book in the series Pack Bound! Following the events of book one, Cayden and Brie are starting to get used to new things happening in the pack while also spending time with each other. It is not until a new danger comes to the town that Brie begins to feel a disconnect with Cayden as his guilt creates a wedge between them. Not to mention protecting her friends and trying to figure out her new "normal," Brie has a lot of new experiences to get used to. Pack Bound is filled with heart pounding adventure that you will not want to miss! I cannot wait to read book 3!

Now that Brie and her Aunt May are wolves, everyone will have to adjust to the pecking order in the pack. As they wait to see if Olivia will change, Brie unknowingly endangers herself trying to recover evidence. Cayden is having trouble adjusting to Alpha, the past, and losing his family. Instead of pulling together, the pack is losing ground quickly. More secrets about the past of wolves and hunters and witches need to reveal if they want true answers. Brie is trying to help Olivia by giving her a present. Cayden will have to somewhat betray what Brie and he are to try and help the issue of Olivia. But what will happen when the truth reveals itself in a way that nobody expected?

I really want to like this series and I want to give a better rating but this book seriously annoyed me. Every single page was pointless repetative banter. I felt like I was just reading the same thing over and over again. Cayden is ridiculous and the weakest "alpha" I have ever encountered in a book series. I just can't commit anymore time to this series. I normally devour books and finish quickly. This one I kept putting down after a few pages because of how slow building it was.

Book one was amazing but the story just keeps getting better! As if transforming into a werewolf wasn't shock enough, the adventure was only just beginning. Savage Wolves are a constant threat and now a fellow classmate could be turning as well, but not into a Noble Wolf. What else could go wrong?

I enjoyed the story and the characters were able to come to life. The pacing was a little slow for me and I found myself questioning the heroine a little. However the read was enjoyed.

The second book picks up right where book 1 ends. And given my statement that book 1 ends with a promise for book two, this book delivers. There is a certain threat to the pack that needs to be handled and it’s not the easiest thing in the world to deal with.
Such protecters in nature the pack has a decision to make that cannot be taken lightly. I love that about this story, makes it more realistic and that is always a plus, even in fantasy!
This book reads just as easy as book 1 and before long, you’re captivated until the end. Loved it, reading book 3 now!

Tensions run high and speculation about who will turn keeps going with twists and turns. Cayden drifts farther away as Brie tries to help him overcome the loss of his brother and parents.
This book gives you all sorts of feels. I really enjoyed this book.
