Only one woman ever stole Nate Chase’s heart–
it’s just a shame she is off limits.

Biker and owner of Hard Core Hogs, Nate Chase,
can take women or leave them–and he usually does both. But then there is a reason that Nate has never
committed to any woman and that reason is his
business partner’s sister, Maxine Gordon.

With a shady past and an intimidating
reputation, Jack Gordon has vowed to protect his sister from all men–and he certainly isn’t going to make an exception for Nate Chase.

Catching Nate is a forbidden lover contemporary romance, written for readers who love emotional romantic fiction with a side of suspense. Riveted to my kindle

Have a look at this and then try and answer a question.

“She didn’t just want someone that looked rough, she wanted the real deal, and she wanted it bad and as often as she could – twice nightly, once in the morning before work, and a quickie in his office after lunch – to be exact. Yeah, he’d been so wrong about Sophia. She wasn’t uptight, she was wild.”

Question: Was this written by Mickey Spillane?

Answer: No. This was written by a lady called Angela Stevens and Spillane is probably at this moment writhing with envy six feet down or else fuming in some funerary urn.

Stevens is something else. And she doesn’t just do this kind of slick stylish narrative. She also does tender love like very few others I’ve read.

The story? Nate is a man who’s been around but Maxine, the girl he wants to be around permanently, has an older brother Jack who has an unhealthy and violent obsession about keeping men away from her. And Jack is Nate’s business partner. And Jack and Nate go way back and there’s a special bond between them. Tricky? Yes, very tricky.

How Angela Stevens resolves this intractable situation had me riveted to my kindle. And that’s the thing. Even though I just knew she was going to sort it out in the end I simply loved the way she went about it.

The third book in the "Thrill of the Chase" series, we find an uncommon kind of love story.
Nate grew up guided by the role model of Jack, a man almost 20 years his senior. Jack is also single parenting his younger sister, Maxine, younger by 20 years. Growing up Nate and Maxine fall in love as teenagers, but are too scared of Jack to openly date and the relationship breaks under that pressure.
Now is 7 years later. Nate is a successful owner of a bike restauration and paint shop, and when Maxine comes home from college the old feelings re-awaken. But Jack is still as over-protective as he had been. Facing him is a challenge they have to overcome to have a chance at their happiness.
The book is well-written and explores the ambiguous feelings the young couple has. They understand the reason why Jack is protective and do not want to hurt or disappoint him, they are scared of his anger, but need to face it. Highly emotional, but I guess, also fairly realistic.

Classic best friend's little sister story, complete with obsessively overprotective older brother. I enjoyed the characters and love that Max is a tomboy with a talent for fixing and restoring motorcycles. Nate is sexy and confident, unafraid to admit his feelings and convince Max of what he wants (and what she wants!), no matter the danger. This was a first read by this author for me and I would definitely read another.

I loved Catching Nate: A Forbidden Love Story (Thrill of the Chase Book 3) by Angela Stevens. It has all the elements of a hot, sexy romance with just enough kink to make it super interesting. The book certainly had my attention all the way through this page turner.

Angela Stevens is such a good writer. Her books flow well and are always well-edited. She is a master of dialogue. This is a good book to read on a lazy Sunday afternoon with a glass of wine. Nate has become my favourite of the Case brothers. Can’t wait for Book 4!

This is the third book in the Chase brothers series. As with the others, this is a standalone but I’m finding my affection for the family increases with each brother I get to know. Nate is supposed to be the edgiest brother but only because he’s in to motorcycles. He’s really a teddy bear under all that attitude. He and Maxine have been in love for years but her brother intimidates anyone who gets close to her. Her brother is a major irritant and doesn’t seem to be able to let his sister have her own life. This is an exciting story and worth the time to read.

Nate was just about raised by his business partner Jack who is twenty years older than him at the same time Jack was raising his sister Maxine. Nate has always loved Maxine he may have tried to fill hs life with other women but none of them measured up to her. Now she has returned from college and the attraction between them is still there but will Jack allow anything between them You will need to read to see if they finally get a HEA

There is only one woman for him but she is out of bounds as her brother is his business partner. They will not allow any man near his sister but what does she want? Will she have her say? What will happen? See what will
