Full disclosure: Foo Fighters is one of my favorite bands, and I know some of the people who were interviewed for this book. Obviously I was really intrigued by the concept.
Unfortunately, the author seems to have supplied a set group of questions to her subjects and then took the answers and literally cut and pasted them together without any editing, leading to a confusing and sort of disjointed narrative. It would have worked better if she had done a Q&A format, leaving her questions in the text.
Also, she wrongly attributed quotes to Dave Grohl. It seems that she not only put a minimum of effort into writing, but also did a minimal amount of research about the band before she wrote this book.
I was really disappointed by it, and glad I only decided to buy the far cheaper Kindle version rather than the physical copy. I only read half and flipped through the rest and ended up returning it.
