Fabulous Read

You are never disappointed with this author. The relationship between Dmitri and Eden was so emotionally charged that one could actually feel it. I just loved the honesty and openness of both these wonderful characters who clearly deserved their happy ending. Also enjoyed the author bringing the other characters back into the story. I just loved the plot with the added action which I always enjoy. Looking forward to Julian's story and it would be wonderful to bring in the Sanctuary characters with their own stories as my one of my favourite genres is romantic suspense. Oh we have to find out more about the Librarian, Sandman and the Surgeon. I just love these characters though we only meet them briefly, you just know there is a backstory linked to each one of them and I cannot wait until Ms. Clark presents them to the reader. Now back to this wonderful story. What can I say but this was a great read and I would heartily recommend this book to anyone who enjoys an honest and beautiful romantic suspense story. In fact do read all her books, they are passion filled reads.

Dmitri (The Jackal) and Eden's story was another riveting story to add to The Wallflower series! Great plot with past and new characters of the series coming to the rescue! And the storyline of The Sanctuary, excellent! The Librarian (Lily) and the Sandman (Sandy) was INTENSE but memorable! The Sandman really is a good guy!

Not What I Expected

Well developed characters-check; dominate alpha males-check; female characters with strength and wit-check. Add non stop action and you have a read you can't put down.

Excellent Story

Having read the other stories in this continuum, I was sure this would a fluff story. Boy, am I glad I was totally wrong.

Dimitri and Eden were wonderfully complex characters and I enjoyed their journey. The story, plot, characters were all wonderfully interesting. I appreciated the richness, unique and diverse personalities of the many characters.

No brainer - OF COURSE, we want more of the Sanctuary Squad. I'd be very disappointed if you didn't give them all their own story.

Great Read!

This is my 3rd T.C. Clark book! I learned of this author while searching for any new books from one of my favorite authors and I saw Niko and Ada’s story and it grabbed my attention. It was a good read so I went to the next one Luca and Mina’s story which was also a good read...I think Dmitri and Eden’s story is my favorite of the 3 but you won’t be disappointed if you get them all. As a matter of fact you should get them all!

I loved the introduction of Nikos Brothers from Nikos story and the new introductions of the Sanctuary players...I would love to see all of their stories written. Even a story for Aidan! Shanelle was also feisty in her part in this story so she she would be good story as well.

The author could easily get about 5 new books out of the interesting characters from these 3 books alone! Get them, get caught up and thank me later.

Great series

Book three was the best so far. The other two were really good but each book seems to get better. I cannot wait for Juliana story and I hope the Sandman and the Librarian get their HEA, either together or not. They deserve a story. This was a really good read. Highly recommended.

Yay!

This is my favorite book of the Wallflower series. Oh how love can change so much. I must say I’m glad Julian’s story is next but I was kind of looking forward to read about Lol “sandy” and the Librarian. They would make a page turning, can’t put the book down story. However, I look forward to the other works of this author

A standing hand clap

I love this series. All the drama and excitement. And yes I agree with the next works of the Sanctuary. Cause I'd love to see a romance between the librarian and the sandman. That should have tons of action in it.

Very good book

This was the best of the series to date. The romance was good and believable without rushing. The other plotline (no spoilers) was exciting. I really enjoy this series.

Good Story

This is a different twist on the russian/black woman story. Liked how the author made sure the black lead was stronger than she ever thought she could be. The love of a strong although troubled man made her whole again. She was the love he never knew he needed.
Even with their combined sorted pasts they fought all enemies in order to stay together.
This is really good book with so many twists and turns. Recommended for all. Read it in one sitting. Could not out down.

Well done

Eden's love story was well done and very fitting for the character. Dmitri had to do horrible things for survival but was able to keep his humanity intact.

The Russians baby

A very good love story! Sometimes I was a little confused about the Russian fight for a better and safe life for him Eden, and the baby. But overall it turned out well, and hinted around that another love story was to come soon.

The Jackal was always there waiting just below the surface waiting

His desire to know someone and to know love was strong. He knew that he could not stay in one place too long but just being around Eden Turner did something to him. Everytime he looked into her eyes something jumped in his chest. He wanted her, he needed her but he knew by instinct that she had been through something traumatic. She was too jumpy, too skittish. She , on the other hand, did not know why she became so enamored by him. He was a giant of a man. His blue eyes always took her breath away. The man should come with a warning sign. He had gotten under her skin. She wanted him but she was too afraid her past would catch up with her, and it did. Her relationship with her ex soured her view on men and she vowed to spend the rest of her years alone. Dmitry Pavlov knew he was not good enough for her. She deserved a good man with no baggage, no dangerous past, but he could not walk away from her. She could not walk away from him. He needed her to want him as desperately as he wanted her. He knew their relationship would be tested by his past, but Eden loved him too much to give up. Dmitry loved Eden too much to give her up either. He'd never had a family before and he would do everything he could to make sure Eden and their baby would be safe and taken care of. The Jackal was ready to come out and enter into the fight of his life.

The author wrote a story about two people coming from different backgrounds and life styles. Eden was a shy sheltered woman who was abused by her ex husband, who was hell bent on destroying her. Dmitry was an orphaned Russian boy who had been taken advantage of by his government for his need for a family, and his need to belong. When these two met, they could see exactly what they needed in each other. To Eden, Dmitry was the man she had always wanted. One who would love her and take care of her. he was worth the risk of his past. To Dmitry, Eden was what he'd craved all of his life. He'd craved the closeness he felt for Eden. Now that he'd experienced love and a sense of belonging, he was not going to give it up. He had been so lonely for so long. They were the only people they had ever felt that kind of connection for. She wanted him enough to see past her fears and he needed her more than he'd ever needed anything in his life. He'd finally found a home and he would give up anything to ensure that his family was safe, even his life. Even if he had to returned to being the Jackal again to make sure they got their HEA and that is just what he did.

What a life some folk live!

Eden had been mentally and physically abused by her ex husband whom she loved and could not comprehend why he treated her in such a fashion! Her best friend Ada got her out of the abuse after she ended up in the hospital. As a way to get herself back she started a bakery that very quickly became a roaring success. Dimitri a Russian trained assassin from an orphaned child where the order to kill a child marked the turning point in Dimitri's life. He cleaned house and relocated to the states and getting word that a couple more of the group was still after him, he moved to a different locale, started frequenting the bakery owned by Eden and one thing led to another and over time he and she began a relationship that resulted in Eden being with child. Just as they thought things were quieting down the two seeking Dimitri now also had their sights on Eden and their unborn child so Dimitri went to work, called in a favor from one and the other showed up because Dimitri had saved her years earlier. Dimitri and Eden had a good solid group of friends who became family and after some really scary and dangerous things Dimitri and Eden are poised to live their happily ever. I would love to read about members of the Sanctuary especially The Librarian and the Sandman! Excellent book.

3.stars. (BWWM) KUB#52. Last of my yuletide picks from 2018. Short. Former Russian Government Hit Man. Nothing remotely Christmas related in this story. Eden Turner is an insecure divorcee who owns and operates a bakery/coffee shop. Dmitri "The Jackal"Pavlov is a sybor technology wizard who has been trained by a Russian Agency known as The Red House. Although Dmitri had been trained as an enforcer and assassin, Red House mostly had him doing technological work; until they decided to test is loyalty and ordered him to kill an innocent. He rebelled and killed the leaders of Red House which is when he met and started to romantically pursue Eden. He and Eden get pregnant and the drama of his past life and her ex-husband slam into their happy time for a while. I don't like mafia story's and such, so I didn't particularly like this story. It is well written and the characters are okay...Eden is a bit too whinny; but, if you like gangsters and murder served along with sex and then, you'll like this.

Wow...

I don't usually care for the mobster/hit man theme and can count the ones I have on one hand with at least one finger free. But like Blind Date I took a chance on this as the series really grew on me. I actually like Dimitri the best so far in this Wallflower's series. Dangerous but oh so...Wow..😉
Dimitri along with the Librarian, Sandman and the rest of that shady shadowy group have that whole Equalizer/John Wick vibe going for them so you know it's a complicated bloody mess. But like all guilty pleasures you are drawn to them. Eden comes off weak and I hope in a future installment she truly comes into her own and gets more backbone.
But yes...I am loving this series because it grows and involves different people and not the same couple stretched needlessly over 4, 6 or more books. A spicy, bumpy, exciting ride. Enjoy! 👍
