The Miner's Song

Rate this book
Mining was Ramon’s life. The sight of silver ore sparkling in the light of his headlamp thrilled him. But on a night of celebration, Ramon’s life took a tragic turn, and he sank into a deep pit of despair and bitterness. Unable to do a man’s work, Ramon turned to begging on the streets. It was when he landed in the hospital that he heard the songs. Songs about Jesus and hope whispered, swelled, and swept through his lonely heart. Long after the last notes died away, he lay entranced. “God!” he pleaded, “I need this hope.” Then God sent Art Plett across Ramon’s path. The Miner’s Song is the wonderful story of two desperate souls and how a merciful God used one of them to bring grace, peace, and a song to the other.

Enjoyed reading this. My heart felt burden for those that have waited for years to hear about the light! This book was well written and gives a good picture of the life as missionaries and those that live in a poorer country
