Aftershock #2

Breakdown

Rate this book
Book 2 in the Aftershock Zombie Series.

The dead are up and killing anyone they can find.

Batsto Village in the New Jersey Pine Barrens holds an unlikely sanctuary that survivors are racing to reach. Breakdown continues the stories of Ian and William, a soldier and the "kid" he picked up after he escaped from torturous medical experiments. Amy, Mick, the kids and a horde of Preppers all head north at a snail crawl since they can't seem to leave a bit of the supplies lying around behind. Daniel, the Rev and the Townies, a rag-tag group of people who are mostly clueless, who just can't seem to catch a break in the apocalypse. And Max and Rocky, a kid and his dog, who only want to find a home.

If you haven't read Aftershock (Book 1 in the Aftershock Zombie Series) it is highly suggested that you start there, so you don't miss even one bit of the action.

About the author

Kristopher Lioudis

South Jersey native and father of six, Kris has always enjoyed reading, writing, and fighting crime in the dark of night dressed in his wife's underwear... I feel I've said too much. At any rate, Kris is in the process of posting many of his short stories to Smashwords.com and is also currently working on his second full-length novel, Don't Be a Hero, due late 2015 or 16, depending on how many children he has by the end of the summer as well as Aftershock II, the follow-up to his debut novel co-written with his wife Valerie.

This is an awesome book, i love the characters and the plot. I highly recommend this series and this author. The characters are all outstanding and so is the plot. There are a lot of twists and turns but they are very good. Great visuals and story telling.

Awesome

The reader not only gets to know the characters, they have so much depth, you experience the apocalypse. Loved this second volume and became very attached to several characters. I even experienced the loss of one of my favorite characters. Very well written series, one of the best written this year. Cannot wait for the next book!!

Another good survival tale

Valerie and Kristopher have woven another fine story that leaves you wanting more. The divergent storylines start coming together and the suspense keeps building.

Aftershock

I like this author 's writing style a lot. The first book was confusing with all the different characters, but this one pulled it together for me.
