Magnus and Kaitlyn are trying to heal. To live. To love.
But they're entangled in futures and pasts that threaten to pull them apart.
"You get scared?"
"Aye, sometimes. Mostly for ye. I am scared I winna be able tae keep ye safe."
There are vessels that must be secured. A castle with walls that have been breached. A baby about to be born and a future that demands to be reckoned with.
But through it all, Magnus loves Kaitlyn, and maybe that is enough...
His voice rumbled up from his heart. “I want ye tae ken, mo reul-iuil, that I love ye beyond what I have the words tae say. I canna describe the depths of it, but I need ye tae ken that I will live my life tryin’ tae speak tae ye on it.”
I pressed against him. “Then I will spend my whole life listening.”
“Aye, I thank ye for it.” ____________________

Book 5... Entangled with you had me so engrossed in it I had finished the entire book in one setting.. Kaitlyn and Magnus has the worst luck, they have past present and future after them.. and all they want to be is left alone so they can be together but the Universe has other plans for them but no matter whether it’s 300 years in the past or 300 hundred years in the future... Magnus still lives Kaitlyn with every breath he takes.... I’m a fan of Outlander and Reign and The White Princess and The White Queen etc and this Book series if it were a movie would out do ever single one of them and I love those movies... This storyline is absolutely amazing and this Author is as gifted as they come... a must read... ❤️
I applaud the author for improving her character development. The addition of future time travel adds to the intrigue. While some of Katie’s dialogue is still very “Valley girl”, I have to remind myself she is still in her twenties although she is maturing. The author’s interesting plot twists keep me going, only 4 more in the series!
Wow... Freaking wow... This one was full on crazily packed with action and the twists were so wild... I have to say our author is a freaking genius and I wish this series would be picked up for a Netflix series because it would be one heck of an entertainer.
I'm glad I read book 4.5 before this one because it all made complete sense and I was so in awe of the intricacies our author has woven into the threads of this story because it is so amazingly surprising and so interesting.
After the events of the previous book, in book 3, Quentin had to stay behind, so now Magnus and Kaitlyn plan on going back in time to bring him in current time.
But ofcourse, things are never going to be as simple as they it would be as certain reveals that come to light, turn things off course and on one side magnus has to fight off enemies from the future and an unknown threat of the past while Kaitlyn takes on a responsibility of being a savior and once again changing the course of history.
I felt like I was surfing on the sea, being tossed by the tides with the way this story threw curveballs of twists at me that had me barely hanging onto the ride. Time loops and unknown dangers and so many unresolved threats that result because of the time gaps and what's happened... Ahhh.... This one was absolutely fascinating in the way the story will keep you on your toes.
I'm absolutely loving the audiobooks, especially Keira Stevens with the way she brings forth emotions so strongly as Kaitlyn and Shane East as Magnus is just perfect.
Also, this book was almost like solving riddles as certain things magnus and Kaitlyn have to figure out in order to get back to the other.
But my favorite twister has to be of a jaw dropping identity reveal that had me so shocked and I absolutely loved that twist.
As we are moving ahead things are getting more complicated and more interesting and I certainly can't wait to see what happens next. Loved this one.
Diana Knightley has done it again. She draws us into the world of Kaitlyn and Magnus and leaves us hanging for more. This isn't a book that can be read stand-alone. You really must know what has happened in the previous 4 books and by the time you are finished you will be dying to find out when Book 6 is published. These characters find a way into the reader's heart and won't let go. You can't help but cheer for them when things are going well and cry with them during the bad times. Whether in the past, the present, or the future you know that these two ar meant to be together. While this book ends on a happy note, the reader can only hope that things don't go too bad in the next installment.
I am so glad this is not the true end of Magnus and Kaitlyn. This series is extremely heart thumping, dynamic and imaginative. I love when authors push the boundaries of imagination. Ms. Knightley does this in spades. I would recommend this series to anyone who enjoys books that include time travel, romance, mysterie, and love that goes the distance! I can't wait for the next installment. This is a series that has to be read in the order written. Also wanted to mention the writing skill of this author. Some books I have to do a lot of skimming because of too many pages of fluff and descriptions. Long empty fluff isn't a problem here. I never skimmed once for fear of missing something important. Definitely five 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 writing.
Wow I though I was going to get tired for a moment with all the back and forth to different time zones and the fighting. But then the story was off and running again with a big surprise. Meanwhile yeh my head is spinning a bit to comprehend looping and how it all works and what it changes. Not sure the first seven chapters were necessary and perhaps could hAve been handled in a better way during the story...? Although it did get my attention though I didn't understand and thought WTF! Is is right or wrong to have to explain yourself as an author in the middle of a story? Novel.
I generally don't like books (or movies) that end in a cliffhanger. With this series, since the books are already written and I don't have to wait for the next installment, I'm seriously enjoying it.
I drive for a living and I'm listening to the books. I find myself stopped at my next place listening before I shut it off. Non-stop action. I seriously like the honesty between Magnus & Kaitlyn. Ms Knightley isn't relying on lies and omissions to keep the story going; the twists and turns do it for her. I can't wait to get in the car and start the next book!!
I think this series gets better as it progresses. The plot kept me guessing this book, and as I keep reading I keep thinking, how will they keep this going? How many more times will they bounce around? The time travel and timelines are at this point getting a little confusing to me but I don’t feel lost in the story because of it. There are 16 books - still so many for me to finish! But yet each one has an interesting story even if I find Kaitlyn obnoxious and some of it eye-roll worthy… this is totally a “guilty pleasure series “for me!
I have read all five of Kaitlyn and Magnus' stories, but this one by far is the best. Reading it was like consuming decadent chocolate. You want to devour it quickly, but at the same time, savor every morsel. Tears of joy, sadness, and amazing romantic moments mixed in with sharp anger and suspense. The end left me breathless. The next book can't get here fast enough!!
Dianna Knightley does wonderful work crafting her stories. Her characters have depth and life to them that shows she took time birthing them. Her stories are very creative and not cookie cutter. They are even well edited which seems rare any more. The only problem I have with her books is that they are very hard to put down. I can loose myself for a whole day reading them. I can hardly wait for the next installment.
So happy to find this original Highlander to SciFi time travel series! But while there are still really intriguing parts I feel like it's starting to be drug out to leave the cliffhangers and write yet another book. If you want to do that then perhaps you should start adding other character povs... Lady Mariead, Quinten, Archie...etc. I like to read Magnus's POV but then it disappears for chapters and chapters.
The wait was long, but worth it! I couldn't put the book down! I thoroughly enjoyed this new part of the Adventures of Magnus and Katie. I was amazed at the developing depth of character in Katie. She grew up fast and became an amazing women in this book. Great story! Keep it coming.
Be proud of yourself Diana , you have me sooooo hooked ! I really love your characters . I have been reading great books for a very long time , and despite the fact that I read so many books a week .I can't get your books out of my mind . I love their love and challenges . Always a smile and a sigh .
At one point I thought I figured out her plot and didn't want to read more. But like the sucker I am, I forged on. There are so many twists and turns, and oh my GOD NO!, moments that keep you on the edge. Now I have to wait a couple of months to read the next book in line. Tis vera good. You can not go wrong in reading this series.
I have been living on Kaitlyn and the Highlander for the past week. I have also recommended this series to several people. This book contained so many highs and lows. Several new revelations emerge in the timeline that were a bit surprising. I’ve pre-ordered book 6 and will patiently (not) await its arrival.
Another good installment in this fantastic series. I was bothered by reading the novella first, which left me wanting answers all the way through this book. I was pleasantly surprised by the little twist and did a happy squeal as things finally clicked into place. And, as always, the more Magnus and Kaitlyn are together, the happier I will be.
I love love love this series . I've yet to find another book that can compare to it. Honestly at first I didn't think I'd enjoy it but I'm so glad I decided to read it. It totally submerged me into the story . I loved the characters. And the twists their lives take . And routed for them so much . If you can only read one series ever, this is the one to read.
I am rereading the series because I loved it so much the first time! This book is awesome! A lot happens in the plot with a bunch of twists and turns. The thing that really sticks out for me is how much Kaitlyn grows. She is no longer a disgraced YouTuber but a “terrible arse.”
Another amazing story of our journey with Magnus and Kaitlyn
This book is a little confusing but well worth the time I spent reading it. We have gone from the past to the future, and so on . I can't wait to continue reading about their life together or their lives apart. Recommend this series with a 5 Stars review
This is hands down one of my FAVORITE series. There are twists and turns, the story doesn't disappoint. I can't wait for book 6! The historical components of the story support the romance and action . Stellar writing!
This book made me scream... A LOT. I was so frustrated at times that I wanted to throw my phone against the wall. I am so very happy to see they reunited in the end, though I'm terrified at the same to see what other misfortunes lay in wait in the next book...
Oh no I need the next book. Love this series, magnus and Katlyn do deserve there HEA, not to sure what year it should be in though, Quentin needs to go back and get beaty too.
Captivating, plot twists with you oh so favorite characters and Villians and maybe some new ones of each! Come enjoy the magical time traveling rollercoasterride.
I kind of guessed that twist was coming and who it would involve. However, I really wasn't expecting what happened. Overall, this is an excellent book that covers many genres.
Stay with them - Danger again expected and unexpected. A story turn no one could guess, and yes, I’ll bet on it. Surprise, even when you know, it’s not the end, just more intriguing. Enjoy
This is one of my top 5 book series. I have read it over and over again the last few years. Magnus and Kaitlyn and their family and friends will wrap themselves around your heart and mind.
