Things are about to get spooky at Oak Ridge University where the Mi Alpha Alpha sorority sisters are planning a haunted house as a fundraiser for the Oak Ridge Children’s Hospital. It’s a spooky time of year, but these Halloween Honeys are ready to make some memories that they’ll take to the grave! *** Sophomore student and Mi Alpha Alpha sorority sister, Brinly Davis, has grown up in her shipping tycoon mother’s shadow – labeled a “princess” and considered to be next-in-line for the company’s throne. Brinly’s not interested in the lifestyles of the rich and famous, and instead wants to become a teacher. Looking to help others grow their potential, she's been tutoring for the English department this year and winds up taking on college athlete Preston Dahl. What she doesn’t count on is facing off with a sexy senior hockey player or falling for him so hard and fast. Preston Dahl isn’t the dumb jock people think he is. He's not out partying all the time or screwing around. Preston keeps his head down and studies hard in order to graduate and make his working-class parents proud. To do that, he enlists the help of a tutor to help him pass his English Lit course this semester. But it’s a little hard to concentrate when his tutor is a hot, well-endowed beauty named Brinly who takes his breath away. And who also happens to be a virgin. Preston will need to step up his Prince Charming game if he wants a scoring chance to make Brinly his fairytale princess.

Preston and Brinly. If you were to judge them by their names alone, you might think they were a very impressive power couple. The truth? Power isn't their thing but they do make an extremely sweet couple.
This is a cute easy read. Preston and Brin meet when she becomes his tutor. It's a meet-cute even if a bit embarrassing. Of course, there's some sweet heat to go with the sugary sweetness that is these two. It gave me little flashbacks to college, which I really liked.
Sweet, sexy and downright sinfully fun for Halloween! His Fairytale Princess is a quick and sexy read that will leave you ready for more this Halloween! Brinly and Preston light the pages on fire with their sexiness and flirtatious ways! Sierra Hill delivers once again with this amazing story!
Brinly and Preston are college students with more in common than they could have possibly imagined because on the surface, they would appear to be complete opposites. Preston is a talented hockey player from a middle class, hard working family in Pittsburgh, who received a full athletic scholarship. If it wasn’t for the free ride he would have stayed home to work with his Dad because family is very important to him. Brinly comes from a privileged background and was raised in Connecticut by a very successful mother who wanted her to attend Princeton. She absolutely did not want to go there because she wanted to find her own way in life, on her own terms. Her sorority sisters are her family and they mean the world to her and are always there for her. So even though they were brought up differently, family always comes first and it is important to always be your own person.
Brinly was nervous when she found out she was tutoring Preston. He was a hot and popular hockey player and she was just a quiet sorority girl, studying to be a teacher. She could barely speak when she first met him and she hoped her nervousness didn’t affect her ability to help him pass his literature class.
Preston thought Brinly was beautiful, smart and funny and he really wanted to get to know her better. Most college girls treat him like a dumb hockey player and just want to hook up, but Brinly’s quiet shyness really turned him on and he hoped she felt the same way about him.
What I love most about this book is that Sierra has written Preston as a quiet, somewhat reserved hockey player, who falls for his sweet and shy English tutor. He isn’t a player, which is what Brin liked about him the most, especially when it came to planning the perfect date. “His Fairytale Princess” is a fun and romantic tale of young love and dreams of the future.
What I didn't like - Right at the beginning, it sounds a lot like book 2 in this series. Another plot would have been nice. The dude is a hockey player in this one instead of baseball and there's no bet, but it's still very similar. I can tell from the beginning he's a good guy, but I can also tell he has slept around, albeit respectfully, if that's such a thing. I understand his reasons for not settling down at this point, but I don't agree with sex outside of a committed relationship. He does say at one time he needs a connection with a girl for sex that contradicts what he said before. Another reason this plot is so similar to the previous in this series is that it has an experienced guy and virgin girl. Even if this wasn't like the last book, because it totally is, this is so so overdone. I think virgin heroines are awesome. I do not think slutty heroes are awesome. At all. For the love of goodness, stop with the manwhore ends up with a virgin thing. Her name is either misspelled sometimes or her name is sometimes Brinley and sometimes Brinly. There were other errors, too. The ending wasn't nearly enough. I thought the epilogue would wrap things up but it wasn't anything special, just repeated the same cliche stuff about her life being a fairytale. It was very disappointing.
What I did like - There were a lot of sweet moments, and I overall liked the couple.
Brinly and Preston are just adorable! This is such a sweet little read that left me smiling ear to ear and wishing I had met a guy like Preston back in college. Maybe I might have finished! Preston is definitely a league above the rest when it comes to his stance on women and relationships. I love that even though he is a star athlete, my favorite kind, a hockey player; he is still vulnerable in certain areas that make him so much more lovable. "Meeting Brinly for the first time was like crashing into a wave in the deep end of the ocean leaving me unable to ascertain any clue as to which way was up and practically drowning." I mean, come on, totally swooning over here! Brinly, our princess virgin, is just so cute. She loves to help people which is how she ends up tutoring Preston. Or does he end up teaching her a thing or two?? I love how she is such a strong young woman but Preston flusters the heck out of her. This Princess finally gets her Prince in every way possible in this fun, flirty and sexy story! I would love a follow up on them maybe 10 years later (Hint Hint Sierra Hill).
Short but sweet college love story with some definite steam. Brinly is trying to live her life outside of her mother's shadow. Meeting Preston was never on her radar but when tasked with becoming his tutor, she begins to see that being the proper girl she's always been may not be what she wants. Preston comes across as a player and Brinly is in for a wonderful surprise but finds he is drawn to Brinly despite not wanting any attachments. The two coming together SEEMS like it would be sweet but watch out...Halloween has some surprises in store!
Holy!! This is definitely a super short and cute read in time for the Halloween season!! I love Brinly and Preston!! It made me laugh, cry and gave me those 'awe' or 'that is so sweet' moments while reading!! I hope to read all the stories in the Halloween Honeys! Wonderful job as always Sierra!!
Perfect way to get me ready for Halloween. His Fairytale Princess is a fun, sweet little read with just the right amount of swoon and steam. Brinly and Preston are adorable and I thoroughly enjoyed this sexy little novella!
What an amazing love story. I loved Preston from the start and he and Brinly were made for each other. I would love to see more of this couple after they finish college and embark on their life together. Some beautiful steamy scenes that were touching and romantic.
Her Hockey Hero by Sierra Hill a five-star read worth fighting for. Brinley and Preston will just melt even the coldest of hearts, their opposite but that makes it so much better as they aren’t what you truly expect. As always Sierra Hill writes a great story, I read this under its old cover, but I am so excited to read it again, I love me some sports yumminess.
I always stress with novellas because I worry that it’s not enough time for a reader to truly connect with new characters but I love Sierra and took a chance on this sexy Halloween novella and Wow I am more than happy that I did!
Brinly and Preston were raised in two different worlds and that was easily seen through their interactions with others and with each other! I feel that I got enough time with each character to get to know them and get a feel for who they are and what their passions are! Brinly wants to reach out and have more than what she had growing up she’s just trying to find the right person to share that with! Preston grew up close with his family and hasn’t spent time in relationships because he hasn’t met someone with the same goals as his but all of their planning and all of their desires come together when these two meet by chance! Their connection is AMAZING and instant but they still take time getting to know one another!
I found this story took enough time to introduce the characters and didn’t rush through anything! I loved the outcome and think anyone will fall in love with these two!
EEEK, a Halloween release from Hill :0. I wasn't expecting this book but once I saw it, I one clicked this baby and devoured it. It's short and fast but there is lot of swoony moments and Hill knows how to deliver the romance. Brinley and Preston were adorable and I love their cute journey to find love. It had everything you want in a romance and I was just reading this story with a smile on my face.
Perfect little NA romance for the spooky season with evil mother and everything. Hill's little Halloween release is a treat that you don't want to miss .
This was a good short read. This book is very sweet and sexy with only a little bit of drama. Preston and Brinly are super sweet characters you can’t help but like. I do wish the epilogue was a little longer and more in depth, I wanted to see more of their future!

His Fairytale Princess (The Halloween Honeys, #3) by Sierra Hill
HERO - Preston Dahl. Senior at Oak Ridge University. Hockey player. Tall and built. Blonde hair and hazel eyes. Easy on the eyes.
HEROINE - Brinly Davis. Sophomore at Oak Ridge and member of the Mi Alpha Alpha sorority. 5’3 with long, dark hair and blue-violet eyes.
OVERALL THOUGHTS - This was my first Sierra Hill read and I chose it for the Halloween theme. I was already struggling a little because the story and dialogue weren’t flowing very well. I wasn’t able to connect to either main character because the way they were portrayed seemed to swerve around a lot. For example, the hero seemed to alternately be someone who slept around, but not necessarily a lot because he needs a connection with the girl in order to sleep with her, but also hasn’t ever had a girlfriend. I don’t know if that’s better or worse than sleeping around just based on the physical. Probably worse since this is a romance novella.
Then the heroine was written as someone who’s so innocent about sex that she was incapable of understanding her sorority sister was hinting that she was dressing as a naughty school girl for Halloweeen, but then later in the story we find out she’s .
Basically by almost the halfway mark, I still didn’t have a great understanding of who these characters were. Combine that with the slightly stilted storytelling and I had to tap out. I did check out the ending, though, and it’s a “happy for now” so I would have been disappointed with that, too. I’m not going to rate it officially since I didn’t finish, but at it’s best it would have been 3 stars, but there were moments when it sunk to 2 stars. The epilogue certainly wouldn’t have helped it.

His fairytale princess is a novella featured in the Halloween honeys series. This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book within half an hour and wasn’t once bored. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters loveable and the storyline enjoyable. The chemistry between Preston and Brinley was clear to see and I liked them as a couple. I also liked them as separate characters. Brinley was smart, a little rebellious (where her mother was concerned) and sweet. Preston was a sweetheart that I just wanted to hug. He was an athlete and a good-looking guy. I liked that he had anxiety – not in a mean way, it was nice to see a male character go through anxiety despite all he had going for him. I liked his quietness and shyness at times, I loved his excitement when Brinley agreed to go out with him. I wasn’t a fan of Brinley’s mother. I hated the way she treated Brinley and then the way she treated Preston. I truly wanted to shout at her to pull the stick from her ass. I liked that Brinley made her decision and did it so that it wouldn’t affect Preston. The storyline for this book is easy to follow and an enjoyable read. I cannot wait to read more books from the Halloween honeys series.
Preston is a hockey player who comes from a middle class family and is attending school because of the full scholarship he received but he needs a tutor to help him with English. Although Brinley was raised by her wealthy successful mother who believes that Oak Ridge University is beneath she is sweet and innocent and choses to help others by tutoring them.
From the moment they meet the chemistry between them is off the charts. He is attracted to her sweet and shy personality and she realizes that he is so much more than a dumb jock, but will their different lifestyles drive them apart?
I loved these two together as Preston is not the usually arrogant jock and Brinley knows what she wants despite what others think. This is my first story by this author, but I would definitely read her future books. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
This is a fast-paced love story. It is tender and sweet, and it was a pleasure to read. Preston is the perfect pin-up hockey player, but he isn’t doing too well at school so signs up for a tutor, there he meets, drowned as a rat, Brinly. However, her dishevelled appearance is just the surface, and he sees right through to her soul. You can really feel the chemistry between the two bouncing off the page, and it was so lovely that they were both charming and genteel characters. There are, of course, the ups and downs on the way to happy ever after, but the bond between the two is set and able to withstand anything that is thrown at them. This was a slightly longer book than some of the others in the Halloween Honey collection, and it really worked well for the story development. You really got to know the characters as well as having the steamy moments. It fit well into the spooky theme set by the Flirt Club. Overall, a delightful read and I liked that the ending wasn’t the usual cookie-cutter end. We get a beautiful happy ever after but their story is still open to develop in the future. Very well done!

Brinly is shy and a bit awkward but comes out of her shell to stand on her own. Get into the Halloween Spirit and go one click His Fairytale Princess now! A definite 5 out of 5 roses!
I thought that this was a really sweet book. Brinly and Preston were great together. Brinly and Preston grew up in different worlds but that doesn't stop them for falling for each other. I really enjoyed the connection and the chemistry between Brinly and Preston. There is a little bit of drama but nothing that these two can't face together. I really enjoyed this book and I would recommend it and Ms. Sierra as an awesome author.
I received a free e-book copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
“Halloween mission is to get our little Princess’s cherry popped this year! Who’s on board?” Like the communal war cry at an English pub during a football match, a "here-here" chant is collectively shouted across the room. My cheeks flame red as garden tomatoes as I bury my head in my hands. Good grief, why did I ever think it would be a good idea to mention to her that I was a virgin?-excerpt
Brinly is a shy virgin trying to break out of her sheltered life. She takes on hockey player Preston as a guy in need of a tutor for English. Their connection is immediate and that triggers her mother who threatens them both. Good story and when mom nearly interrupted a tender moment things come to a head so to speak. Loved how careful and respectful Preston is of Brin. I read this book using my KU subscription.
Might have been OK in an anthology but as a standalone novella it's thin and rushed and really needed another copy edit. and honestly, if you get caught in the rain and your shirt is see-through and oh no my painfully enormous breasts that I am so very self-conscious about are TOTALLY on display and oh I am so embarrassed... why on earth wouldn't you PUT YOUR SWEATER ON instead of draping it over your shoulders? I also find college-aged instalove tedious.
Very well written short story with lots of emotions and chemistry. I like the characters and how well they are described. They both has an amazing chemistry and passion. A story that shows prejudice is once again a bad thing. A jock is not always what you think he is. And a lit student can have dreams and feelings. Absolutely a sweet story that I liked reading. Captivating and enjoyable.
This is the Halloween Honey’s series, each one is a standalone, they are quick sweet and sexy, Insta love reads I highly recommend them if you are looking for a quick fun read. They are well written and very entertaining. I can’t really say much as they are short and it gives away the story just go in and enjoy.
