Astral Projection and the Nature of Reality: Exploring the Out-of-Body State

Rate this book
Astral Projection and the Nature of Reality goes beyond preconceived notions about how to get out of the body and then back in, as well as the dimensions to which the out-of-body adventurer can travel. Magnus starts with a brief history of astral projection and then guides the reader through a step-by-step course for reliable projection. He explains how, once out-of-body, we create our own astral world, and he offers techniques for understanding our mind and the nature of reality. Magnus offers detailed exercises and proven techniques for reliably exiting your body; confronting the basic fears that can hold you back; taking advantage of psychic side effects; taming your mind; navigating a world in which you have the ultimate power to create; integrating the lessons you learn from OBEs into your everyday reality; replenishing your energy . . . and much more. Plus, incisive journal entries of his many out-of-body adventures will convince you that it can be done and give you the inspiration to go farther than you ever thought possible.

I am really liking the "Nature of Reality" part. It is dovetailing well with my concurrent readings in "Conversations With God" and "The Time Paradox"

As for the Astral Projection part, I guess I am an osmosis kind of guy. I figure if I saturate my mind enough with the subject, who knows, maybe I will learn how to actually experience a higher consciousness more directly.

This was the first book in Astral Projection I've read, so I don't really have much to compare it to in that sense. I did find it pretty interesting and fairly easy to read. It was a bit dry for my taste overall, but otherwise good. I'll definitely be reading more on the subject in the future.

Great book if you want to learn astral projection. Each chapter is laid out in a way that promotes good practices with easy to do activities in addition to awesome philosophical insights. It also addresses many of the shortcomings you may have when attempting the skill of astral projection.

If you are curious about this phenomenon this is a great guide to get you started. The world of Astral Projection is infinite and you can explore and discover many things that are impossible in waking reality.
