Romance can be difficult enough but it grows ever so thorny and rather deadly when the attraction is sparked between the offspring of rival mafia families, although it does make an excellent premise for a steamy tale of romantic suspense in the wily hands of Kelly Collins. Bundled together with alluring characters, tragic and startling twists and turns, volcanic sensual heat, and clever snark and witty banter; the storylines were actively engaging and intriguing. I will be eagerly awaiting the next Wilde ride.

Beautiful tension…
What happens when the family business threatens to destroy your family? Well, if you’re the Wildes you do everything you can to get out… Matt had spent the last few years in prison and, while harder than he thought, he was committed to going legit. His brothers were beside him but the woman he loved was still on the wrong side of the fence. Katya was caught in a hell she was born into. One she could see no way out of. But that didn’t mean she couldn’t dream about ‘what if’….
Oh this story… The second in the series and one I couldn’t wait for, Katya and Matt’s tangled relationship was going to get more complicated and, thankfully, much more clear as the feud between their families was going to play out. It was emotions laid bare. Old hurts, betrayal, new slashes to the heart. Problems that were going to tear their love apart and, hopefully, heal it at the same time. There were twists and turns I didn’t see coming making this far from a guaranteed happily ever after. This was no slam-dunk, not even close, as loyalty and family meant hard decisions had to be made and bonds were going to be tested again and again.
Another great read, this series is definitely on my favourite list of the year!

Well, I very much enjoyed the 1st book in the series: 'Betting on Him' & I had high hopes for this one too. So much so I pre-ordered it after reading the 1st one.
So, I dove in, fingers crossed to read the 2nd one: 'Betting on Her' & was delighted with it.
This book has a completely different 'feel' to it (IMO) than the 1st one. Although there was some action toward the end of 'Betting on Him', it took place mainly in the Wilde family's Casino, was more focused on the strategy Alex Wilde needed to employ to remove his family permanently from mob life without getting any of them killed or igniting a mob war for refusing to marry a Russian mobster's daughter: Katya.
But 'Betting on Her' has more action & direct confrontation, more in your face jockeying for position & lives.
Since Katya didn't marry Alex Wilde, her vile Russian mobster father has now dictated she marry a frightening Russian Bratva import: Sergei (The Bull), a huge man with terrifyingly cold eyes & a thirst for money & power that exceeds even her fathers'. And although Katya is defiantly resigned to the arranged marriage, her heart has been given to the son of her father's hated rival, Matteo Wilde.
Only Matt is able to see that beyond Katya's tough façade she is drowning. Matteo, just out of prison for a crime he didn't commit lost his heart as a boy to the tough resilient Katya & wants desperately to help her. Matt, unlike Alex, had walked a much darker mob path than his brothers. Matt had killed & beaten & threatened in his past & had no qualms about doing so to save Katya. But their families are old enemies & Alex flatly orders Matt not to do anything that will compromise the safety or legitimacy of their family.
But, the heart wants what the heart wants & Matt wants Katya & Katya wants Matt. Yet in order to be together they must overcome the formidable obstacles in their path: Matt's brother Alex as well as Katya's father & Sergei.
The writer does an excellent job fleshing out Matt & Katya through POV's for each as well as their interactions with others. I was invested in Matt & Katya, I had my fingers crossed they could somehow be together without damaging the love the Wilde brothers had for each other & without Matt or Katya dying. There were several times I held my breath, wondering how the author was going to resolve twisted tangled issues. The big shocker came out of left field (for me at least) & later near the end of the book a 2nd shocker brought a very believable resolution to a major problem for those involved.
This book had a lot of action, danger, suspense, threats; a little steamy sex & a lot of love between an Italian mobster & his Russian mob princess. I highly recommend it & look forward to the 3rd brother's (Rafe) story so much I pre-ordered it!

Kelly Collins has done it again with this wonderful story of forbidden love, marriage triangle and Russian mobsters. As with most of the books I read by this author I was glued to the end with the wonderful characters and a fast-moving intriguing plot full of twists and turns. This book is full of love, family, friendship, hot chemistry, family loyalty, revenge, betrayal, lies, and secrets with a Russian mob princess and a former Italian mobster. I received an ARC copy of this book and this is my honest and voluntary review. This is a real page-turner as we have come to know with this author and as we have met some of these characters in the first book we get to dive further into there world and learn more about them. I was very intrigued by Katya in the first book so I was so excited to read and learn more about her in this great story. I am hoping the Wilde boys can hold off the mob to lead the lives they want with the ones they love the most.
Katya Petrenko has always be told what to do by her mobster father Yuri Petrenko, so when he orders her to marry that I what she must do. But what about what Katya wants? This has never been of importance since the deather of her mother, Katya must do the best she can to survive the world in which she leaves in. She has no desire to marry the man her father has told her as she dreams of another, one that she has known since she was young, one she has done wrong by in the past. Will faith pull them together or will her family obligation give her a life she does not want?
Matt Wilde is a free man after spending the last three years in the big house for a crime he did not fully commit. He wants revenge on the man that put him behind bars but his brother Alex wanted the family out of the mob business now their father was out of the picture and the boys go running the family Casino and businesses.
Could he keep that promise to this brother when Katya walks back into his life and possible into his heart? He had protected her once with dire consequences so will he go there again to protect her?

Betting On Her #2 - Lucky for me I could chain read both books. BOHim left me riding a high, so it was only natural to continue the ride with BOHer. This book is just as entertaining as the first and there's actually a third book in the series, three Wilde brothers, but of course. There are the same great characters with a few new ones added to the mix. Good chemistry again, with explicit sex, which I skipped since I find written sex boring. This story is also fast paced, intriguing and humorous. The storylines are well thought out and there's a twist and kink here and there that will surprise some of the other characters, but makes the reader belly laugh. Again, hard to put down and don't expect an explicit violence, just romance and problem solving. 5*
Betting On Him #1 - What a trip! I had so much fun reading this story filled with great characters and good storylines. The chemistry between he and she was great; there was explicit sex but I skipped that boring trash. Both had personalities that were bold and honest; plus some of the support characters were great in their roles, too. The story is fast paced, intriguing and had suspense, plenty of everything to the reader immersed in the pages. The violence isn't graphic. The romance and finding solutions is the focus. It's been decades since I've enjoyed a Mafia story along these lines, but I can recommend this entertaining yarn. 5*
One Hundred Excuses - This is my first book by this author and I enjoyed it immensely. Well written with good storylines and characters that are likable and decent people. I didn't realize this is part of series because other people and previous history were mentioned in passing as if introduced in another book. BUT this did not diminish my enjoyment of this delightful, heartwarming story. I had fun with Mrs. Beasley (from Family Affair), I remember when she hit the store shelves in the late 60s. Now I want to read the rest of the stories. I did skip the sex scenes, for me the sexual tension is interesting and written sex is boring. I found this book on Booksprout.co. 5*

This is my first book by Kelly Collins and it is not going to be the last one. I will say I should have read the first book in the series because I would have gotten some background on the characters and some of the history they have but you can read this as a standalone. I ABSOLUTELY loved every moment of this book. There is romance, suspense, twists and turns, surprises that will have you on the edge of the seat reading wanting no needing to know what is coming next. I love a good old mobster story but this is so much more and Kelly has KNOCKED IT OUT THE PARK!
Katya is my girl she is a strong heroine that does not take crap from anyone not even her father who is the head of the mob and he is ruthless and does not give a damn about anyone or anything. He wants Katya to marry a Russian hitman but she is in love with someone else and she will not marry the hitman. She knows going against her father has some serious consequences but she is willing to go against him and fight for the love of her life.
Matt is the man. He is strong and faithful to his family. He has spent the last three years in prison for something he didn't do. When he gets released he is determined to go legit and run his families casino and do his father proud. Then one day he runs into Katya and he can't deny the attraction to her but he knows she is off limits because of who she is. But the more he is around her and when Katya comes to him for help he knows he has to do everything in his power to keep her safe.
Can these two have a relationship or will they be on the run from Katya's father? This is a must read mob-romance that will have you flipping the pages of your kindle at warp sped to see what happens next!

I don't really know what I expected of this book but it blew my mind away just like book one. And like a mention before every "mob" book I've read I've ended either giving it 1-2 stars or DNFing it but this ones I have fallen in love with.

Matt has just recently gotten out of jail after been there for several years because he was saving Katya from a mistake she made. This two have held a torch for each other from a very young age and after Alex and Katya got engaged after a deal their parents made Matt decided that distance was the best thing he could do.
Now that the engagement has ended Matt knows he shouldn't get involved with her because he's family is out of the mafia business but when Katya shows up on his doorstep he can't help but get involved.
I felt the connection between the characters and I loved the story. Collins really knows how to make this mafia business work (at least for me) and how to connect all the characters in one way or another.
My only problem with this books are that they are told in first person POV and I don't like it. Other than that I can't wait to read the next book in the series and I'll definitively be looking more into this author's books.

Matt Wilde has just spent the last few years in jail after being sent there from Yuri Petrenko. He is hell bent on getting revenge but he knows that his heart still remains with his daughter Katya.
Both Matt and Katya know they want to be together but there is so much standing in their way, including the Russian mob. When it's clear how much danger they are both in will they go with their duty or follow their hearts?
This is such a great series and I love this second book!
We first met Katya in the first book and fell in love with her towards the end when she was able to help Alex and Faye. In this book she stayed as true to herself as she good but she was up against a very angry father in Yuri.
Matt was angry after his time in jail but soon we learn some of the truth behind it and understand why it happened. I love how he was still willing to fight for Katya when he knew how much he was up against.
Like the first book this one had some incredible twists and turns to make you wonder what was going to happen next! I loved the revelations from the diary of Katya's mom and it definitely gave me hope!
I was really curious about Sergei and where his loyalties lay with everything but soon I realized he was in it for himself. He was going to take the best deal that came his way!
The end was awesome and I loved the journey getting there!
I can't wait for more in this series!!

I am so glad Katya Petrenko got her own story because she is a character from BETTING ON HIM (book one in the Wilde Love series) that I was really curious about. Katya is a pawn. She has no control over her life. She is the daughter of a mafia man and her value lies in her trade value. For me, she was the star of this book. Her struggle to break free from her life made me want to cheer for her and also commiserate with her when things went wrong.
Katya and Matt Wilde are attracted to one another and I was glad they both decided to ignore their family’s dictates and try to make their relationship work – something that would be even harder to accomplish in the treacherous world they live in.

The second book in this series, Betting on Her is exciting and fast-paced with more twists and turns than the Monaco Grand Prix race course. Katya decided that Matt would be her prince when she was 8 years old and was more than pleased when her arranged marriage to Matt's older brother was circumvented. They have always had a strong connection and as childhood infatuation grew into a full-blown adult attraction, Matt begins to realise that he is being governed by his heart and not his head. This results in mistakes on his part and earns him the ire of his brothers, who are determined to put their mob days behind them. Katya might be a mob princess, but she recognises her inner strength and when the opportunity presents itself to get out of her malignant father's clutches, she employs all her skills and abilities to create an escape hatch. The book is well written with steamy romance and gut-wrenching drama. Although this book is part of a series, it is nevertheless a standalone with a twist in the tale ending. I received a copy of this book as a gift and this is my honest and voluntary review.

thoroughly enjoyed book one, ‘Betting On Him’, and so eagerly looked forward to book two especially with the strong, sassy Katya as lead female.
Having successfully avoided marrying Alex Wilde Katya Petrenko, a Russian mob princess, is being forced to marry a bullish Russian called Sergei Volkov. Both have very little time and definitely no love for Yuri, Katya’s father! Matteo Wilde is the proverbial spanner in the works, who also would like to see Katya’s father suffer.
Heck the whole way through this story I wanted to see Yuri suffer and I mean slowly and torturously. His character is absolutely vile! Once again this author gets the reader so invested in the story that you could cheerfully help out with the torture! While at the same time my heart bled for Katya and I wanted to wrap her up and whisk her away.
Although this is predominantly a very dramatic book with a fair bit of action there is a healthy dose of humour too. The one liners are fabulous, for example-“You’re so thin, you could hula hoop with a Cheerio.” (Stella talking to Katya)
And yes once again I enjoyed this second book just as much as the first book. Now for Rafe’s story! 😉

What a fantastic second “wilde” book in the series by Ms. Collins! I wasn’t sure how Ms. Collins could “top” the first book in this series, “Betting on Him”, but she did (we get to catch up on Alex and Faye from the first book)! The second Wilde brother, Matt, has recently been released from prison for an offense he did not commit. Matt knows he was “set up” by Russian mobster Yuri Petrenko and almost killed while in prison. Matt has always been in interested in Katya, Yuri’s daughter, but knew there was no chance of a relationship between them as their families are lifelong enemies. Now that Matt is out of prison, he will take over management of the family casino, Old Money Casino. The casino and family are completely legitimate and plan to stay that way. When Matt finds out that Katya will be forced to marry a Russian mobster, he knows he must help her. Katya has long felt an attraction to Matt, but fears there is no escape for her. The attraction between Katya and Matt is HOT while they try to find a way for the Wilde family to stay legitimate and keep Katya from the arranged marriage. There are twists and turns in this story that caught me by total surprise…loved that! Ms. Collins writes such amazing suspense and romance stories that you just can’t stop reading until you reach the end of the book…then want to read it all over again. Look at that beautiful cover! It goes along with the terrific story on the inside. This is another suspenseful, enthralling Las Vegas mob story and a sexy romance with the middle Wilde brother and the Russian mob princess. After reading the first book I was thrilled to see this one come along featuring Kayta because I loved her even though she was sort of a villain. Gotta love those bad girls! Matt certainly does. He's out of jail and ready for payback but will he throw Katya under the bus or take back his woman? Will he jeopardize all of Alex's hard work to take the casino legit? While Alex went his separate way and developed legal businesses Matt was following in his father's footsteps as the head of the Italian mob family in Las Vegas. He knows how to get his hands dirty and he'll have to if he wants his revenge and Katya. Exciting storytelling, great characters and lots of danger, double dealing, intrigue, romance with a killer twist makes this a fantastic read. One more brother to go! Can't wait. I can only say I loved this book.
It was a great mob story with real good characters.
Katya who seemed like her less than loving upbringing hardened her. She was nothing but a pawn in the games her father played. Hard on the outside but full of love for the right person. She did everything she could to protect Matt consequences be damned.
Matt realised pretty soon he wanted Katya. Against all odds and his and his brother's better judgement. He tried to stay away but couldn't. He wasn't easily deterred either by circumstances or actions. He knew how precarious Katya's situation was so he constantly searched for hidden meanings and looked behind actions. He understood Katya like no one before.
I liked their chemistry. The ever present danger heightened the excitement.
The plot and writing was very good as usual.
I can't wait to find out what the third book will bring to the Wilde family.

Betting on Her is a really good star crossed lovers story! I recommend reading Betting on Him first because of the inter connected characters and the storyline that flows through each book. We first meet Katya in Betting on Him. She's the daughter of a Russian crime boss that wants to launder money through the Wilde brothers casino. Now that Matt is out of prison he is taking over the reigns to the family business and he has always had his eye on Katya even though her father wanted her to marry his older brother. Now her father wants her married to another Russian mobster and as much as he thinks that they cannot be together, he doesn't want her married to another either. Katya is stuck under her cruel father's thumb and is resigned to a sad and loveless life. Well that isn't what fate has in store for either of them! Betting on Her is told from dual POV and is loaded with angst, action, drama and heat! I recommend this series completely.

I was hooked on this series from the first book and the second follows the precedents it set. Already, the Wildes have a tradition of unfailing loyalty to family and a tendency to fall deeply in love with women who will complicate their lives. Matt and Katya prove this out. His brother has just barely freed them from their mob ties and Matt is only just released from prison, but the danger Katya faces from her own family may be enough to have Matt throwing the Wildes right back into that old life. Katya is such a fierce independent spirit. I’m in awe that everything her father put her through didn’t break her. I can’t wait to get my hands on Rafe’s book now and see what it takes for one more Wilde brother to get his happily ever after.

This was a fantastic, captivating, heart pounding, suspenseful story about self discovery, second chances, revealing secrets, and love. Katya is the daughter of the head of the Russian mob. Matt is an ex con that had ties to a mob family. Matt and Katya have been in love for years but family rivalries and family businesses have kept them apart. Now they are reunited and sparks fly and love ignites. The story line was so captivating about these two people overcoming family rivalries, and so much suspense due to the danger they face in order to gain freedom and destroy mob bosses. These characters were wonderful and so lovable. I couldn't put this new book from Kelly Collins down. Readers will be captivated by the danger and love story of Matt and Katya, they won't be able to put this book down.

Betting On Her is an interesting addition to the Wilde Love series. Matt is newly released from prison and not sure he wants to follow the legal path his brother Alex has worked so hard to achieve. Matt is interested in revenge, even if it means dragging his family back into the world of crime families and mafia. Katya just wants to be free of her father and to be respected for the intelligent woman she truly is. Marrying a Russian mafia goon chosen by her father is the last thing she is willing to do. Together Matt and Katya figure out a way to get what they want.
Betting On Her is full of twists and turns, surprises, and passion. If you are looking for a well-written page-turner, look no further. This book is sure to please.

This book makes you smile; the story makes you feel heartache; and, when you reach The End, you are extra happy to have read this book. It’s the second in the series and I’ve waited to see how the Wilde's are doing in Las Vegas. Alex is now taking care of the development business; Matt is operating the Casino; and, Rafe is taking the Bar exam. Matt has his eye on Katya, the daughter of the Russian side of Vegas; he has known and loved her since childhood; and, her father has contracted to give her to a notorious Russian mobster. How will Matt ever live with her being in another man’s bed? It is a deadly story-line but filled with love, laughter and Stella’s great Italian food. Loved the read!

I was hooked from the beginning. I’m love readingmob type books and this book was intriguing. The storyline was really great, and kept you reading. Katya is the Russian heiress to the Las Vegas mob and is being married off by her father. Matteo is the fresh out of the big house and runs the family casino, while also trying to go legit. Katya and Matt have been fighting their feelings for each other since they were little but this is not meant to be on the cards for them. Can Matt save Katya from the life in the mob? I definitely recommend this book!!!

I have to say, Ms. Collins sure did deliver in this 2nd book of the captivating Series. I wasn't sure if she could meet and continue the high standards she set in Betting on Him, but she was triumphant! This time the second son, Matteo Wilde, takes the lead role and his place as the head of the family business. Matt, unlike his brothers, has more of his Mafia father's ways, and isn't quite sure he can go totally legit. Things get more difficult for Matt, as his heart and body belongs to Kayta, the beautiful Russian Mafia Princess. Matt finds himself struggling between his loyalty to his brothers and his need to keep Katya safe. This book has it all, with its memorable characters, clever dialog, suspenseful plot, a few twist & turns and some hot scenes!

This book is the second in the series and the story is very good.

I loved the story, which is full of suspense, mob drama and true feelings. The characters are very well written. I recommend the reading.

This book was awesome and held up to par with the first of the series. I loved Alex and Fayes book but this one was just as good. I loved Katya. She was badass and just the right about of sassy. And Matt was swoon worthy. He knew what he wanted and took no prisoners. It was all a strategic nightmare from their standpoint as she was promised to another. Who was actively trying to take things over from her father and steal what Matt and his family had. How she could go from being sensitive and caring to kick ass was what made her an awesome heroine. Loved the book and can’t wait for Rafes.

Ich muss ganz ehrlich gestehen, als ich das Buch “Las Vegas King- Betting on her” das erste Mal gesehen und gelesen habe, hatte ich schon eine gewisse Vorstellung davon, worum es am Ende gehen könnte. Der Titel verrät ja bereits ein bisschen, dass es um Mafia und dunkle Machenschaften geht. Man hat also schon ein bestimmtes Bild im Kopf, was einen erwarten könnte.
Aber zunächst zur Geschichte: Im Mittelpunkt steht Kayla, die Tochter eines russischen Mafiabosses, der seine Frau vor vielen Jahren verloren hat und jetzt allein mit seinen zwei Kindern, Mikhail und Kayla, dasteht. In der Mafia werden Frauen oft schlecht behandelt, weshalb Kayla nie Liebe und Fürsorge von ihrem Vater erfahren hat und entsprechend ein schlechtes Verhältnis zu ihm hat. Das Ganze gipfelt darin, dass ihr Vater sie zwingt, Sergej zu heiraten, einen Mann aus der russischen Mafia, der die Organisation ihres Vaters übernehmen soll. Kayla, die selbstbewusst und stark ist, lehnt dies ab. Sie wurde ihr ganzes Leben lang von ihrem Vater unterdrückt und von ihrem Bruder schlecht behandelt. Sie hat niemals Liebe oder Zuwendung erfahren, außer von ihrer Mutter, die angeblich Selbstmord begangen hat, weil sie die Lebenssituation nicht mehr ertragen konnte.

Die Sache mit dem Gefängnis hat mich auch verwirrt, weil Kayla zugab, dass sie Matt ins Gefängnis gebracht hat, obwohl ich nicht ganz verstehen konnte, wie das ihn vor Yuri retten sollte, da er trotzdem von Yuri’s Männern im Gefängnis angegriffen wurde und ihr Vorgehen ihm eher geschadet hat als geholfen. Man muss jedoch bedenken, dass sie nicht viele Mittel zur Verfügung hatte.
Mit Kayla wurde auch ein wichtiges Thema angesprochen, das in der heutigen Gesellschaft immer noch relevant ist: politische Ehen und Frauen, die oft wie Handelswaren behandelt werden. Kayla wurde praktisch an den Meistbietenden verkauft, in der Hoffnung auf bessere Geschäfte oder einen Erben.
Ich glaube, die einzige Person, die Kayla wirklich so gesehen hat, wie sie ist, war Matt. Er hat sich für Kayla interessiert und wusste von ihren Hacker-Fähigkeiten, die er faszinierend fand. Sie hat ihm immer wieder das Leben gerettet und geholfen. Trotz der Feindschaft der Familien war es ihm immer eine Priorität, Kayla zu beschützen, selbst als sie noch mit seinem Bruder verlobt war.
Ich fand es auch gut, dass Kayla ein gutes Verhältnis zu ihrem Ex-Verlobten und dessen Frau hat. Noch mehr Drama hätte die arme Kayla wirklich nicht ertragen können. Ein großer Plot-Twist war, als herauskam, dass Kaylas Mutter doch keinen Selbstmord begangen hat, wie Yuri es ihr weismachen wollte, sondern dass sie eine Affäre herausgefunden hatte und er sie deswegen vom Balkon gestoßen hat.
Es war ein ziemlicher Schock, vor allem für Kayla, zu erfahren, wie gefühlskalt Yuri gegenüber der Person war, die er jahrelang als sein eigenes Kind großgezogen hat. Er sagte ihr ohne Reue ins Gesicht, was er getan hat. Er hat verdient, was Sergej ihm am Ende angetan hat. Es war auch überraschend, dass Sergej auf Männer steht und eine Beziehung mit seinem Bodyguard hat. Ich fand es interessant und neu, dass Kayla daraus kein großes Ding gemacht hat und Sergej heimlich mit seinem Bodyguard zusammen sein kann. Vielleicht bekommen die beiden in Zukunft ihre eigene Geschichte, in der sie offiziell zusammen sein können.
Obwohl ich die Wiedervereinigung von Kayla und ihrem Vater, den sie insgeheim schon kannte, schön fand, hätte ich mir mehr von der Familiendynamik erhofft. Am Ende wurde nur offenbart, wer Kaylas Vater ist, aber die Dynamik zwischen den neuen Familienmitgliedern blieb unklar. Es wäre interessant gewesen zu sehen, wie Kayla mit ihren neuen Halbgeschwistern, zwei Brüdern und einer Schwester, zurechtkommt und wie sie ihr Verhältnis zueinander entwickeln.
Ich fand das Buch wirklich schön. Das Cover war auch toll, obwohl ich normalerweise keine Personen auf Buchcovern mag. Die Geschichte war fesselnd und faszinierend, aber auch sehr traurig. Man hat mit Kayla mitgefiebert und Mitgefühl für sie entwickelt, in der Hoffnung, dass sie ein Happy End bekommt. Trotz kleinerer Schwächen kann ich das Buch guten Gewissens weiterempfehlen.

Vielleicht bekommen die beiden in Zukunft ihre eigene Geschichte, in der sie offiziell zusammen sein können.
Obwohl ich die Wiedervereinigung von Kayla und ihrem Vater, den sie insgeheim schon kannte, schön fand, hätte ich mir mehr von der Familiendynamik erhofft. Am Ende wurde nur offenbart, wer Kaylas Vater ist, aber die Dynamik zwischen den neuen Familienmitgliedern blieb unklar. Es wäre interessant gewesen zu sehen, wie Kayla mit ihren neuen Halbgeschwistern, zwei Brüdern und einer Schwester, zurechtkommt und wie sie ihr Verhältnis zueinander entwickeln.
Ich fand das Buch wirklich schön. Das Cover war auch toll, obwohl ich normalerweise keine Personen auf Buchcovern mag. Die Geschichte war fesselnd und faszinierend, aber auch sehr traurig. Man hat mit Kayla mitgefiebert und Mitgefühl für sie entwickelt, in der Hoffnung, dass sie ein Happy End bekommt. Trotz kleinerer Schwächen kann ich das Buch guten Gewissens weiterempfehlen.

Katya is a young women grown up I a mafia family. Her father has promised to marrie her away to another bad guy Sergei. Her job is to give him a son. She has been secretly in love with Matt most of her life but he is from a rival family so there is no hope for that. But can she make it out alive and can all of her dreams come true ? A great book so exiting from the beginning till the end. I loved that katya is a strong women with her own mind and I hoped for the best

Like all the books I have read by Ms. Collins, this one is well written with interesting characters and a splendid plot. This one has a mafia theme along with romance and drama along with some very interesting twists. You will meet strong-willed men and woman within the pages and the interaction between the characters is awesome. Super Book!! I did receive a free copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.

Katya is the daughter of a Russian mobster and has loved Matt secretly for as long as she can remember and he feels the same way. Their families are rivals making this match unattainable, or is it? This is a well written story with strong characters, witty banter and a steamy romance. This is book two in the series and a perfect follow up to book one Betting on Him. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.

This was fantastic. I really enjoyed the first in this series, but I liked this one even better. Fiery, unexpected, sexy, and filled with thrills; this is a book you won't want to put down until you've turned the last page. A fantastic mafia-themed romantic suspense that will keep you guessing til the end.
