Sempé Panic Stations

by Anthea Bell, Jean-Jacques Sempé, Phil Cleaver (Designer)

This fifth album of illustrations and cartoons by Jean-Jacques Sempé to be published by Phaidon features such familiar Sempé characters as artists, psychologists and more-or-less happily-married couples, although tyrannical computers and surprisingly friendly aliens also put in an appearance. Fresh, funny and beautifully illustrated in Sempé’s inimitable style, this book will appeal to cartoon connoisseurs and a general audience alike.
