Editorial Reviews Caroline Doig TOP 50 REVIEWER 5.0 out of 5 stars An amazing story. “Scarlette D’ Noire is a new author to me and this is a fantastic story I enjoyed it immensely. This is an incredible new take of Lilith and Adam’s story it’s nothing like what we were taught it’s only better, we also have the angels in Lilith’s Harem Lucifer, Samuel and Mercy. I don’t want to go into too much of this story all that I’m going to say is that it’s an amazing story and I can’t wait for the next book. I am not Catholic but when you have friends that are you get a sense of the way the bible is, I loved the way Lilith loved all but one, Adam on the other hand the bad attitude, he wants Lilith to submit. I'm not usually a fan of reverse harem stories but this one really had me anxious to find out what happens next. The story is well written and Lilith and Lucifer is thoroughly likeable, as are the others. I can't wait to find out what happens next.” “Oh. My. Heavens. Incredibly unique reverse harem story. It’s the origins of Lilith, with two male archangels and a female archangel. The storytelling is gorgeous.” ~ Katie Thompson reviewed Born of Heavenly Harem Book One (Heavenly Angels of Darkness and Light 5.0 out of 5 stars Born of Passion and Strength “Loved this unique take on the Creation myth! A bright, curious and strong Lilith, with her loving angels at her side. The author does a lovely job of world building, giving us a solid foundation of fantasy. It's sensual, new, and elegantly written. Multiple conflicts are explored in this new world. The internal battle with one's self, the external battle with those in opposition, and a battle with the spirit and with one's true desires! The picture is lush, raw, and captivating! I felt my senses heightened and my imagination expand.
Scarlette is originally from Chicago and now resides in Florida. A lover of all things chocolate and vampiric, when she isn't attacking small children dressed as mice she can be found sitting at her computer on several social networks claiming to be working on several books in the Vampire Historia Series and Psychological Horror short stories.

Scarlette D'Noire is a nom de plume used to protect the identity of the author, so she may avoid prosecution and bring Vampire Historia a Series of Revelations and all her other dark little tales to light without consequences.
Back in the Summer of 2018 I read the first excerpt of Born of Fire, and I was hooked right away. Scarlette breaths new life into a tale as old as time itself, when she resurrects the biblical story of how the world and mankind was created. Though, this time around Adam shares the Paradise with Lilith and not Eve.
Created from fire Lilith has a hard time living side-by-side with her destined mate, who's created from clay, Adam. Just like the element she came from, Lilith won't be contained and she's very aware of just how different she is to her mate. Whilst Adam was intended to be the superior it's quickly becoming obvious that he cannot control Lilith, so when his dominance fails him he turns to trickery and lies to gain the upper hand.
Lilith is passionate being who inspires (different) love from almost everyone she meets. From Lucifer and Samuel she learns of the physical part of love. From Mercy she learns about the innocent, but no less powerful, feeling of love - and all the angels share one common goal: they want to love and protect Lilith, no matter what it costs.
The only reason the book is half-a-star shy of a perfect rating, is because I feel like it left some gaps in the story-line. As the narrating changes between Lilith and Lucifer, there's quite a few blind spots which makes it harder to understand some of the actions taken. Like Adam seems all knowing but because we don't read his point of view, it's hard to understand where his thoughts and motivation comes from. However, as I know this is only the first book much can change still, and who knows, the second book might hold all the answers I'm looking for. The one thing I couldn't fault even if I wanted to, is the character building and development. Especially Lilith and Lucifer are just how I would like to think I'd imagine them, if I had enough imagination to do so.
An intriguing twist on the story of man and woman in the Garden of Eden, Born of Fire was a well-written polyamorous tale that I didn't expect to get swept away by so easily. Author Scarlette D'Noire introduced us to Lilith, Adam, Samuel, Mercy and Lucifer, and explored the bonds of love as well as the difference between servitude and using one's free will.
"I belong to no man. I'm not his now, nor will I ever be!" My heels dug into the dirt as I stood my ground. "I rule my own world."
I was a little worried about how a biblical story would incorporate a reverse harem. But Born of Fire, to me, was more about the personal relationships between the characters and the differing love they shared with each other as opposed to the overt physical aspect of it. Lilith's wonder and joy at the world around her and the feelings sparked by each character was quite wonderful to behold. And I thought D'Noire did a great job of describing Lilith's reaction to it all.
The story itself was vividly detailed and had a flowing prose that I thought worked well with this type of storyline. I think readers who are looking for a tale that is more sensual than scandalous, one that teaches a few well-placed lessons but is mainly about love in all its forms, will find Born of Fire a page-turner.

WARNING RH (Reverse Harem) Paranormal Romance 18+ This book starts with the Creator and three of his angels; Lucifer the Morning Star, Mercy the Bringer of Light and Samael the Angel of Death creating the world and on the last day Adam from clay and Lilith from Fire. **Spoiler Alert** through out the whole book I was cheering for Lilith to leave Adam and the garden and join the angels she loves.I was also wanting to smack Adam hard from abusing Lilith and tricking lying to her in a way to dominate her as this was the only way he could. Lilith is passionate who inspires different love from the angels. From Lucifer she learned how to love her own body and physical love. From Samuel she learns of the physical part of love. From Mercy she learns about the the powerful feeling of love and how to see love around her. All three angels share one common goal: they want to love and protect Lilith, no matter what the cost is to them from the Creator. For now there is no F/F scenes between Mercy and Lilith but the love of sisters and best friends. Mercy want to take care care by making sure she is warm, have plenty of food to eat etc. Samael and Lucifer takes care of her sexual needs. This ends up in a cliff hanger that will be in the next book Hearts of Fire (Heavenly Harem, #2).

I saw the cover and knew I had to read this story. While I had a slight idea of what its be about, I didnt read the blurb. So I started reading it around 1am and think its a prelude to the story.. aka a long time before the story starts. Well I was wrong but at that point I was hooked. I refused to put my Kindle down and ended up finishing it around 8am. Holy crap this was an incredible new take on Adam and Lilith and how the world came to be. The portrayal of Adam was incredible and basically all the bad qualities you men can have all thrown in one single person that god created in his image. And Lilith was lovable and amazing. Liliths harem has 2 male angels and a female angel but at this point, theres no f/f scenes, its more like the love of a best friend or sister, where they love each other and the angel just wants to be there for Lilith and to tame care of her while her men want to take care of her other needs. I wanted to cry when I hit the last page knowing the 2nd book wasnt out yet but that will be downloaded as soon as its available.

Sure they say, "Opposites attract." However, that was not the case in this story. But then, when you are formed from Angel (star) dust and have life breathed into you by The Creator's first Angel you can't be expected to lie with a dude made from dirt can you? I mean, c'mon ... It's gonna be angels all the way... am I right?!?
I loved this take on creation and the story of Adam and Lilith. I also adored Lilith and her angels, Lucifer, Mercy, and Samael and how they each loved her in their unique way.
I am very pleased this is not the end, but a HFN series. All the characters breathe life into the story and give the reader a bird's eye view of how things went down in the Garden.
I recommend this to anyone who loves a good Creation story, anyone who has ever been curious about Adam's first "wife," Lilith, and/ or anyone who wondered about Lucifer's fall. While this is a work of fiction, you can tell the author did considerable research.
I am looking forward to the next book.

Wow just wow!!! I was honoured enough to Beta read this and i love the whole premise and idea behind starting literally from the beginning of time. I grew up in a CofE household, i went to sunday school and i learnt how God created the world in 7 days. This was an exceptional good take on that and different spin on what and how it might have happened. I dislike Adam, immensely (shhh spoilers) and lucifer -phew weee (insert fan emoji!!)
The bulk of this book is setting the scene for the series, its alot of back history told Scarlettes way, no that its a bad thing as you do get some really intense chemistry between ..... and ..... (shhh spoilers) and OMG are they worth the back story!!! My only complaint, it ends just as ............. well I'm not about to tell you that am i? 😂😂 fingers crossed its not too long of a wait until the next book because i can not wait to see where this all goes.

The internal battle with one's self, the external battle with those in opposition, and a battle with the spirit and with one's true desires! The picture is lush, raw, and captivating! I felt my senses heightened and my imagination expand. We are not trapped by the Eden of our imagination but set free by the angels of our true selves! I can't wait to read the next installment, as the conflicts build, and Lilith's family grows and strengthens.
Warning if you can’t wrap your head around different takes on the creation of life this may not be your story.
Born of Fire is a new and interesting take on the creation story. It follows Lilith, Lucifer, Mercy and Samuel. Adam and the Creator are also present, but we don’t read from their points of view. As I already said some people will have issues with this tale as it does not cast certain beings in favorable lights. That being said if you can suspend your beliefs just for a short time to read this book, jump right on in and give it a chance. It takes us on a journey from the beginning through the garden of eden and beyond. I personally will be looking to read the second book.

Born of Fire is an interesting take on the creation story. It follows Lilith, Lucifer, Mercy and Samuel. Adam and the Creator are also present, but we do not read from their points of view. I do think that some will have issue with this tale as it does not cast certain beings in favorable lights. That being said I've always had issue with the tale of Adam and Eve. For those who have no opinion either way, can suspend their beliefs to read a book, or feel as I do, dive on in. The story is rather interesting. It takes us on a journey from the beginning through the garden of eden and beyond. Overall I would recommend this book, provided you have the ability to read fiction for what it is.
An interesting twist on the garden of eden. Will be interesting to see what happens next. Love is very powerful.
*Spoilers* Lilith and Adam do not work well together. Lilith is too smart for Adam’s good. Lucifer, Samuel, and Mercy are better for Lilith. They make her stronger and let her understand herself better. They try to listen to the Creator, in the beginning, but they are all drawn towards Lilith. Like moths to a flame. Human instincts overtake their angel ways and they all decide to stay with Lilith and lose their wings for it. Will be interesting to see what other punishments come their way.

Unique Version of Creation! A totally different and unusual approach to the creation of Earth, the Garden of Eden, Adam, Lilith, and Lucifer. The story is well written and enjoyable but not for everyone. It differs from what we’ve been taught from the Bible. This story centers on the many facets of love and the characters struggles to capture that feeling. I loved Lilith, Lucifer, Samael, and Mercy but Adam is a DORK-lazy, opinionated, controlling. The story is steamy at times and ended with a slight cliffhanger leading into the next book. Enjoy!

Scarlette D’ Noire is a new author to me and this is a fantastic story I enjoyed it immensely. This is an incredible new take of Lilith and Adam’s story it’s nothing like we were taught it’s only better, we also have the angels Samuel, Lucifer and Mercy who are a part of Lilith’s Harem. Sorry guys I’m not going to give any more I don’t want to spoil anything but what I will say is this it’s amazing and I can’t wait for the next book. A fantastic story a 5 plus ⭐️ read and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.
Even the prologue about the creation of Earth is rife with logical lapses so serious that I could not believe in this universe. The Bible itself is clear in comparison. The so-called Divine beings kept shifting in characterization until they were incomprehensible. The the Creator flips His (it has to be a male) lid for very little reason. I can't waste my brain cells on sorting this out. There seems to be no point to it.

"Born of fire" surprised me. It is an interesting and unique retelling of the creation story. While the core of the story is there, there's nothing to remind of what we were taught on Sunday school. Well-written, with great world building and well fleshed out characters, if you're not offended by occasionally steamy Bible retellings, read ahead. I'm definitely curious of what the next book has in store for us.

I totally different and interesting twist on the story of creation. I’ve always heard stories the Eve wasn’t the first woman but Lilith was. This story rotates mostly around her and Lucifer. Lucifer is not the devil but an angel that the creator forced to stay on Earth after it was made. It was some type of lesson but I’m not sure anyone learned anything from it. Adam is there but he may as well be a cowardly Neanderthal for the good he does. But there is love in their paradise with the help of two other angels. A lot happens and will have to read the next book to see what happens next.
Born of Fire is the first book the in Heavenly Harem Series. It is different take on the beginning of Creation. Scarlette D'Noire is one of my favorite authors and I have read and loved all of her past books. Unfortunately, the topic of this book was difficult for me to wrap my head around, therefore the story did not resonate with me personally. The book was well written, as are all of Ms. D'Noire's books, but the storyline never captured my attention.
Unique and intriguing twist on the Creation Story. While it uses the back bone of The Creation Story, the story created is beautiful yet has the struggles of the real world. By the end I was in love with Lilith, Lucifer, Mercy and Samuel, each for different reasons. The end does have a minor cliffhanger, leaving the story open for the second book but is an HFN/HEA.

This is a very unique book which I have thoroughly loved. The beginning was a little boggy but it had to be there to set the scene. Once it gets into the main story it is amazing I never once thought I could feel such strong feelings for Lucifer but it was captivating reading the start from his perspective. A very solid 5 stars

First HE created the earth... Unfortunately, Lilith isn't about to play the dutiful, subservient mate for Adam. She quickly realizes exactly who it is she wants, and his name isn't Adam. This is an intriguing retelling of creationism. The characters are fascinating and sexy, the plot is interesting with an unexpected twist.

What a wonderfully delicious rendition of creating the earth and the start of the Garden of Eden; Adam and Eve. My goodness, Adam is not at all how I pictured him! Samael, Lucifer, mmmmhmm, sexy! I felt, through Ms. D'Noire's words, that I was there with the characters. Mercy is so selfless! Willing to provide for Lilith so the guys can Love Her! I did not expect the book to end on a cliff-hanger. I'm hooked! Can't wait to see what's coming next!
The story was a neat twist on Lilith and Adam’s story and what suits Lilith better- a harem of two men and a woman (more like a best friend or sister than lover though) who take care of her needs. I’m ready to read book 2 and see where the story goes! I’m not a huge fan of stories that aren’t standalone in their own right but this is a story worth reading as you won’t want to put it down.

I loved the story and the characters. I am not Catholic but when you have friends that are you get a sense of the way the bible is, I loved the way Lilith loved all but one, Adam on the other hand the bad attitude, he wants Lilith to submit. The Creator, Samael, Mercy and Lucifer come from the heavens and form the world. Unfortunately Lucifer displeases the Creator and is turned into a snake. The saga continues as the humans made try to learn how to be human but Lucifer wants Lilith. But created with free will Lilith must make a choice. What will she choose? An interesting retelling of the creation.

This was a very interesting book and take on the Beginning. The beginning meaning Adam and Lilith. I really enjoyed reading this story. Very well written. Storyline does make ya think, in my case, that it could have been just like that. I really want to know what happens next especially with the 3 angels. Over all I loved it.
I was so surprised by this story. I didn’t know how I felt when I first started reading it but I’m so glad I kept going! The whole story brings a fresh retelling of the genesis and I truly enjoyed the twists on such an Old story. Highly recommend.

Wow now this was a wonderful yet hard to understand story of how earth was created and 2hat happens when you don't follow through with His will. We learn how things went from bad to worse. The angels tell this story so well. Now I can't wait to see how the next book turns out. I give it 5 stars. I voluntarily read and reviewed this book as an Advanced Reader's Copy.
This was a new author for me with an even newer twist on a harem plot. The writing was great and the characters were well developed and engaging with lots of twists and turns to keep engaged without getting bored. Looking forward to the next book.

I like the idea of having a reverse harem version of Adam and Eve. I thought that the intro/creation part dragged a little bit but was necessary to the plot. After that the story flowed and I found myself rooting for Lucifer and Lillith and Mercy and Gabriel.
