Admittedly, I was rather sad to see this series end, but I couldn't have asked for a better finale!

Vow of Justice is a wild ride from page one. The action starts there and doesn't stop until the epilogue. With many twists and turns, my adrenaline was almost constantly racing. Eason explores a variety of themes, including forgiveness and trusting God. Linc St. John and Allie Radcliffe are both very realistic characters, and, after seeing Linc featured in the previous three books, I was excited to finally read his story.

All in all, Vow of Justice is an explosive finale to the Blue Justice series! I highly recommend it to lovers of good suspense with a touch of romance.

Oh my word, I love Lynette Eason'd books so much!! Even though this wasn't an all time favorite by her it still was fantastic!

I had a very hard time putting down this book. The action and suspense had my heart thumping in my chest. I, at one point, thought it was going to literally burst. Lynette Eason is a queen of suspense. Her books are just to die for. I have fallen in love with her writing and I think I will forever be in love with it.

Her characters are too die for. I loved getting to know Linc better in this book. We've seen him a lot in previous books but it was awesome reading about his story and seeing it all play out. I also really enjoyed getting to know Allie as a character. She was the perfect female protagonist for this story and plot. I loved seeing her development throughout this novel.

The faith content as always was amazing and not preachy. It was very subtle and on point with what was happening.

Can I just fangirl about the ending of this book though?!? I was squeling in my bed with excitement. I was so sticken happy!! I'm going to stop now before I start spilling spoilers. XD

Overall, I really enjoyed this book and I am very sad to see that this was the last book in the series. 😢😢 I will forever remember the St. John family and their crazy adventures that got me hooked on suspense novels.

If you have been following this series this is Linc St. John’s, and if not don’t hesitate to jump in, yes, it can stand alone! I have read all of this series, and this one sure doesn’t disappoint, full of action and surprises come out of nowhere, there are so much going on I kept being surprised.
Life for some has very little value and Allison and Lincoln, FBI Special Agents, are really in for enough work for a life time, that is if they make it to the end.
I love the way this author’s mind works, and she has me riveted and page-turning for answers, and most I never saw coming, but you sure won’t get bored,
I enjoyed the epilogue, and the teaser of a new book coming, and yes I’m ready for more!

I received this book through Net Galley and the Publisher Revel, and was not required to give a positive review.

This is the final book in the Blue Justice series featuring the St. John family who all are involved in different ways in the justice system. This book features the last of the St. John children, Linc, who is an FBI Special Agent. His partner is Allison Radcliffe. When she was only 14, her family was all gunned down by an assassin and only she escaped. Now she has a lead on who that assassin was and she and Linc are out to find he and his boss who ordered the deaths.

Fast paced, full of action, twists and turns galore, this high paced suspense novel kept me fascinated from start to finish. With high tech devices, Allison and Linc pulled out all the stops as they tried to solve this mystery. They even had to pull in LInc's other family members for support and advice. But somewhere along the line someone who is involved with the case is leaking info that is deterring Allison and LInc as well as putting both their lives in jeopardy.

The slow developing romance between Linc and Allison was nice, and I appreciated that it didn't overshadow the suspense which was the main focus. The suspense and dramatic tension carried along throughout the story until the final culmination. The characters were all memorable even the villainous ones. And I appreciated that just enough clues were dropped to hint at whom the culprit was that was leaking info.

I took half a point of my rating score because I felt like some of the descriptions were too graphic for my taste.

This book can be read as a stand-alone; but if read in order; you gain a much better understanding of the St. John family and the relationships within that family.

What a great way to read out the old year with this thrilling blockbuster conclusion to the Blue Justice series. And woohoo -- the gangs all here, ready to help Linc out of a deadly game of cat and mouse. I love the St. John family -- the teasing banter that switches to professional efficiency when the need arises. These siblings are always there for each other, no questions asked and together they are a force to be reckoned with.

Linc and Allison have a history -- partners and friends who are on the verge of something much more when Allison is 'killed.' What follows is such a tense, whip-lash frenzy of a suspenseful tale that I'm still reeling from the fallout. And the romance has the same kind of desperate edge to it. Another enthralling page-turner from one of my favourite romantic suspense authors.

No worries if you haven't read any of the other books in this series -- Vow of Justice can be read as a standalone, but I bet once you do you won't be able to stop at just this one. :-) And -- eeep -- that epilogue!!!! My cheeks still hurt from grinning so much!!!! :

This was pretty good... I liked Linc, but I guessed the plot about 24% in...lol...nailed it too, I was rather impressed with myself.
Also, if you've read the Danger Never Sleep Series and wondered about Daria's backstory this is! That part was super cool!

Characters:
Allie was cool, hyper fixated on catching the guy who killed her family but I would be too if I was her...just for answers if nothing else.
Linc was cool! I loved that even though he had feelings for Allie he was willing yo give her space.
Daria was awesome! Y'all this girl...I just learned there's a novella about her and now I gotta go request it at my library.
I loved seeing all the St. John's again, always a pleasure and that epilogue!

Themes:
Vengeance belongs to the Lord.

Romance:
Some kisses, most hardly detailed at all.

Language:
N/A

Violence/Gore:
Typical suspense violence. Some murders but not details on blood just how they were killed. Explosions, gun fights, and one character is drugged.

Overall:
This was a really intense and super cool book even if I did guess the plot...lol...

FTC Disclosure: NetGalley gave me a free copy of this ebook. A positive review was not required. These are my honest thoughts.

While I cannot believe Derek’s book is going to be in a completely different series (he’s the only sibling to not get a book in the Blue Justice series, which simply doesn’t make sense to me), I rather enjoyed Linc’s action-packed story, which finishes out the Blue Justice saga. It was a well-written tale that kept me interested throughout, even when I guessed correctly (sometimes WAY ahead of time) what was going to happen or who certain bad guys were. To me, this was one of Mrs. Eason’s more predictable stories, but I still enjoyed it a lot (and a few of my friends found it quite Unpredictable). The attention to detail (price of an expensive car, types/names of weapons) lent an air of authenticity that enhanced my reading experience.

This book never really wowed me, but it’s possible that was due in part to my rebounding from a disappointing book. I purposely chose to read this one next, because Mrs. Eason is one of my favorite authors. This story was fascinating the whole way through, and I’m hopeful it’s snapped me out of a slight reading slump. I’m also hoping to love it even more when I eventually reread the series. This series is one of Mrs. Eason’s best, though I’m still partial to her Women of Justice trilogy, the first of her books I ever read.

Great end to the series! I love, love, love Linc, and Allie's murky past had me very intrigued (and eventually heartbroken, but that's another thing). I also liked the fact that they knew and were close to each other before, rather than falling in love with a complete stranger. :P

The mystery was very intriguing and had a bunch of surprising twists. I did figure out some of them before the reveal, but I have to give credit to clues dropped in the book for at least one of them. ;)

We didn't get quite as much of the rest of the St. John family in this one as in some others, but I loved them every time they appeared. <3 They're just such a wonderful group, and I adore them so much! Love the way this series wrapped up!

Content--mentions of deaths and dead bodies, including murders; gunplay, explosions, bombings, etc.; mentions of injuries, wounds, blood, infection, and vomiting;

Vow of Justice — Blue Justice series #4, by: Lynette Eason
Timeframe: Present day
Genre: Suspense, mystery
Location: Columbia, SC
Main characters:
Linc St. John: FBI special agent
Allison Radcliffe: FBI special agent aka Alina Radchenko
Vladislav Nevsky: Russian mafia boss
Henry Ogden: FBI Supervisory Agent
Daria Nevsky: Vladislav’s gifted teen daughter
Gregori Radchenko: Man who murdered Allie’s parents and sister
A whole host of St. Johns: Linc’s parents and siblings, all in law enforcement

In this fourth installment of the Blue Justice series, FBI agent Allison (Allie) Radcliffe is posing as a cook in Russian crime boss Vladislav Nevsky’s home, in hopes of finding information about his illegal dealings. While there she befriends and grows to care for his daughter, Daria.

Linc St. John, Allie’s partner, is often on the other end of her earbud giving her FBI support while she’s inside. Henry Ogden is their boss, who is privy to all they’re doing, making decisions for them all the while.

As often as Allie and Linc seem to be close to catching Vladislav or saving his daughter Daria, something always seems to go awry, or he always seems just one step ahead of them, until a truly evil character shows his true colors and everything changes.

Another gripping tale by Ms. Eason with wonderful characters and suspense on nearly every page.

A really good who-dun-it with threads of suspense. I figured out a bad guy early, but was way off on why and what his ultimate endgame was. I love that. And the way it tied loosely to earlier books is a nice reward for those who have read the earlier installments, but will not distract from the enjoyment of the book if this is your first in the series. And the spiritual thread was perfect! Great romance as well. Basically, this book had it all.

What an intense thrill ride! This is book 4 in the Blue Justice series (but book 5 if you want to count the novella that came between books 2 and 3) and the series follows the St. John family - a lawyer father, a chief of police mother, and six adult children who are all in law enforcement except for one. I haven’t read any of the previous books before reading this one and felt that I missed out a little on the family background and dynamics as well as the background of Linc and Allie’s relationship and partnership as FBI agents. But it didn’t detract from enjoyment of this fast-paced, suspense-filled story with a solid layer of faith and a good dose of romance.

In this book, Allie’s past and her true motives in becoming an FBI agent come to light as she goes undercover to bring down a Russian mafia leader. Allie’s past violently collides with her present as she works fervently to get revenge and Linc tries his best to protect her as they work together to figure out how to stop the villain. There are plenty of twists and turns in the plot that will have you turning the pages faster and faster in attempt to find out how the pieces all fit. Lynette Eason delivers another nail-biting romantic suspense that won’t disappoint.

Since meeting Linc in the first book of the series I was looking forward to his story. I enjoyed his story and the hero he was, though I did feel the limelight was more on his partner Allie.

The relationship between Linc and Allie was sweet to see and not overbearing to the suspense. Both Allie and Linc’s past were intriguing - Allie’s was heartbreaking. Like Brady’s, Linc’s past relationship was briefly mentioned - I would have liked a bit more detail to fill in the picture.

The suspense was great. The author gave enough hints so that I guessed the inside man early on, however, the reasoning behind this I did not see coming, just like another twist I did not guess.

The epilogue was sweet and will give all romance lovers that smile and happy sigh. I am disappointed that Derek is not getting a novel but looking forward to his story in Protecting Tanner Hollow (Tanner Hollow, #1-4) by Lynette Eason .

Will recommend this book and series to fans of romantic suspense.

What a fabulous wrap up to the Blue Justice series! I enjoyed all four of the books, as well as a novella that was part of the series. Oath of Honor, which was book one, and Vow of Justice, which was book four, were my favorites of the series. However, even if you haven’t read the other books, Vow of Justice can be read and enjoyed on its own.

I appreciated the fast pace of this novel, as well as the simmering romance between the two main characters. I liked the way the author slowly dropped the clues and gave imformation to the reader as the story progressed.

I must admit that I figured a lot out about this story before it was revealed. However, that did not take away the enjoyment of reading it for me. The author was still able to surprise me about some things and the tension that built as I read added to the story as well.

The St. John family may be one of my favorite families next to Dee Henderson's O’Malleys and I’m sad to see their stories come to an end.

I’ve been wondering about Linc since book one. There was something about the FBI agent that had me curious. As the story opened, I honestly wasn’t sure where the book was going to go (I didn’t read the blurb). As the story developed and the relationship between Linc and Allie wobbled on shaky ground, I kept turning the pages.

The whodunnit isn’t cut and dry. I admit I guessed a culprit but that wasn’t the end of the story. Through the pages I enjoyed the story as it unfolded and the mixture of romance and suspense (an awesome combo).

It was another great read by Ms. Eason and I’ll eagerly await her next release.

I have been looking forward to this book for a long time. I really like the St. John family. Yet this one fell short for me. Yes I enjoyed it, but I really just feel blah about it. It was ok. I've found other books by this author to be better. I figured out by like the 3rd chapter who was the inside person, and I wasn't wrong. So, for me, there wasn't much suspense. I also wish that there had been more interaction with the St. John family. That's what I enjoyed most about the previous books. Will I read her next one? Yes! She's a great author. This one particular book just wasn't the best one for me.

I received a copy of the book from the publisher in order to share my honest opinion on it. I was not required to like the book, only share my honest opinion of it.

Vow of Justice by Lynette Eason is one thrilling tale of justice served. A young woman lived through a terrible ordeal and wants to justice. As an FBI agent, she can get the man and another evil man locked way for life. Only they somehow find her and her cover is blown. From there, she's afraid for the crime boss's daughter, who is her only ally someone she ended up caring for. The young daughter knows her dad is evil. He did something in front of her and since then she too, wants justice. Death can change people. It can also make them stronger. Both agent Allison and the teenage girl, will learn to cope, fight, and get their justice...it's only a matter of time. Allison and her team are thrown for several surprising loops. A man they trusted is against them. But who? One agent believes the other is dead. Only one is stuck hiding and the other is out to get revenge for his partner's death.

Nothing in this novel, was predictable. I loved it. The characters kept me guessing. They way they reacted left a lot to be done and said. I wouldn't know what they would do or say, until they did. Then there were the bad guys who kept popping up when they were least expected. Twists and turns everywhere. The pages flew by fast. The plot was action driven mostly. The characters helped speed it up as well. Entertaining from the beginning, I was hooked. Overall, this was one edge of your sear kind of romantic suspense read. I recommend it to all readers.

'At the door he stood to the side, then kicked it in. And came face to face with a dead woman.'

Lynette Eason has completely outdone herself with this offering in her crazy good 'Blue Justice' series.
Linc St. John, an FBI Special Agent is totally stunned and devastated to discover that Allie Radcliffe, the woman he dearly loves, has been killed in an explosion. Things, however, are not always what they seem, and Linc must find a way to cope with what is happening now. Allie and Linc will now have to work fast, hard and dangerously to stop a determined killer before one of them ends up dead for real.

Eason hits the ground running with this one and the action does not let up one little tiny bit throughout the book. Russian mobsters, tracking devices that don't quit, one injury after another, not knowing who to trust, these are the things which make this book good. Besides, the great writing, of course. I was completely captivated and could not wait to finish! And the ending.....ahhhh, Eason ties it up beautifully. In my opinion, this is her best book ever! I highly recommend this one, folks. Don't miss it.

"At the door, he stood to the side, then kicked it in. And came face-to-face with a dead woman."

Vow of Justice, the highly anticipated conclusion to award-winning author Lynette Eason’s Blue Justice series, is a fast-paced romantic suspense novel filled with danger, incredible plot twists, the perfect amount of romance, and of course, those handsome St. John brothers. Lynette Eason is favorite must-read author of many romantic suspense fans, and she does not disappoint in her latest novel.

Vow of Justice can easily be read as a stand-alone novel, but readers will definitely want to read the entire series after falling in love with the heartwarming and beloved St. John family. Each of the siblings have their own story told in previous books in the series. Five of the six St. John siblings are involved in law enforcement, and their mother is the chief of police. The family dynamic between the six St. John siblings and their parents is much like the Reagan family in the TV show Blue Bloods, but Lynette Eason’s Blue Justice series is even better than Blue Bloods!

FBI Special Agent Linc St. John finds himself in extreme danger after the alleged death of his partner Allison Radcliffe. Her undercover assignment for the FBI places her in close quarters with an extremely dangerous and powerful head of the Russian mafia. Secrets from Allie’s past continue to haunt her as she seeks justice for her family after unspeakable crimes were committed against them 15 years ago. Sparks continue to fly between Allie and Linc as their desire to catch a killer puts their own lives in jeopardy, while Allie’s past and present collide in this explosive conclusion to the Blue Justice series.

Lynette Eason seamlessly weaves the characters’ faith into the novel as Allie and Linc’s belief in God remains constant even when they question why He would let bad things happen to good people. The powerful message from a youth camp speaker that Allie recalls from her teenage years stayed with her all these years: “God didn’t promise everything would be perfect, but he did promise that we’d never be alone and God would never give up on us.”

Vow of Justice is highly recommended for readers of romantic suspense, especially those who enjoy books by authors such as Dani Pettrey, Lynn H. Blackburn, Rachel Dylan, Natalie Walters, and Elizabeth Goddard, and fans of the TV show Blue Bloods. Even though the Blue Justice series is regrettably coming to an end, fans of the St. John sibling Derek will rejoice in the following news…. Derek St. John will get his story told in Lynette Eason’s upcoming novella, Lethal Agenda, which is included in her romantic suspense novella collection, Protecting Tanner Hollow, releasing in November 2019.

I received a complimentary copy of this book from Revell and was not required to write a positive review. All opinions expressed are mine.

Additional Quotes:

"Uh-oh?” Sitting in the command van a short distance from the estate, Linc felt his heart take a nosedive. “Allie, there’s no ‘uh-oh’ in undercover work.”

“Do we have a plan?” Allie murmured.
“To not get killed.”
“I’m good with that.”

"She missed him. Missed sharing laughter, movies, and pizza nights. Missed their in-depth conversations about faith and God. He always made her think. But . . . she had to do what she was meant to do. Take down Nevsky and find the one who’d murdered her family."

Vow of Justice is a can't miss Christian Fiction Suspense read. I was hooked from the first page and I devoured this story in a matter of hours. I really enjoyed the angle of Allie faking her death and all the mystery that entailed. It made for quite an interesting story and it had a few surprises along the way! Linc and Allie were very likable characters and I loved getting to see the St. John family again. This series has been thoroughly enjoyable and I am sorry that it's coming to an end. Although we do get at least one more story with Derek doing a crossover to another of Lynette's series so I am looking forward to that one!

Vow of Justice by Lynette Eason is another example of why Eason is at the top of her game when it comes to writing suspense. I know she creates in the romantic suspense genre, but I think she is leans more heavily on the suspense side, which I LOVE. I love returning to the St. John's family. The family dynamic reminds me of the television show, Blue Bloods, which I adore. In Vow of Justice, Linc finally receives his moment to shine and tell his story. The romance between Allison and Linc moves normally, but readers have seen their relationship if they read the other three books in the series, so it shouldn't be so much of a surprise. The plot was definitely a tension filled and non-stop action. I had a really hard time putting the book down. I wanted the keep flipping pages. Who needs sleep anyways? Eason is a master at making her characters squirm and wiggle on the end of the rope. Fans of suspense should definitely pick this book up and add it to their collection.

This is Eason's best one yet in my opinion! What a great suspense book!

Vow of Justice by Lynette Eason started off with a bang and did not disappoint throughout! I immediately fell in love with the main characters and their relationship. I think what got me first interested in the book were the main characters' names: Allie and Linc. I absolutely love Ms. Eason's creativity with Linc's name and I've always loved the name Allie. Their personalities also drew me in, with Linc's fierce and protective personality as well as Allie's soft but impulsive.

Eason's writing style isn't smooth like most authors' styles I've read. It isn't choppy either. It's a perfect balance of speedy and high-paced when the plot requires, but slow and almost lyrical when a touching moment or whatever occurs. Personally, I really loved that and found it to suit really well in this particular book! She also has a unique touch in her books where I can never guess where the plot is going to go, and that proved to be true in Vow of Justice too. The plot was very well developed and progressed in the right way. I did end up guessing who the villain was though.

Although I normally adore Lynette Eason's books, I definitely wasn't expecting Vow of Justice to draw me in the way it did! Very hard to put down and definitely a must-read. 5 bookmarks.

I’m going to go ahead and say it. This series is Eason’s best work to date! I’ve loved every single one of the St. John siblings’ stories and I’m kind of sad to see them end, but when it ends on such a high note I can’t be sad for too long!
I loved both Linc and Allie and definitely liked them as a couple. They had started a bit of a relationship before this story began so it removed that rushed romance feeling that is sometimes present in romantic suspense-which was a major plus in my book!
I also loved the pacing of the plot, there was just the right of action and twists to keep the reader hooked, without crossing into the far-fetched side of things. I personally hated putting the book down, and while I guessed some things there were still a few surprises for me!
All of the side characters were well written, I especially liked Daria, and kind of wish we could get a story about her in the future! I also loved getting to see more of the St. John family!
This book was a very satisfying conclusion to a fantastic series and I’m excited to see what the author has in store for us next!

I’ve spent three books and a novella with the St. John clan and looked forward to finally getting to learn more about Linc. And oh, boy, did Lynette Eason take me on a white-knuckle roller coaster of a ride.

Allie and Linc are great partners. They trust each other with their lives and are willing to face difficult things head on to protect each other. Even better, they’re friends.

While I figured out who was the cause of all Allie and Linc’s troubles early on, Eason still managed to throw a few surprises my way. And, of course, some of those St. John siblings jump in as back up. This is truly a family that serves and protects. More so when it’s one of their own in need.

True to Eason’s style, Vow of Justice weighs heavier on the action and suspense than the romance. But even that works well for Allie and Linc because of their history and friendship. It’s a love that’s built between them naturally and can weather the truths that change Linc’s knowledge of Allie’s identity.

THIS WAS MY FAVORITE OF THE BLUE JUSTICE SERIES! Oath of Honor (book #1) came in a close second! Regardless, this book contains heart racing action, as well as heart throbbing romance! I recommend this to anyone who loves a good book💕

4.5 stars.
Yep. I was up late (again) to finish a really good book. 😂 I finally finished this one at maybe 1:45am last night. A really good book! RTC
Review:
This was, in short, amazing.
I loved the relationship between Linc and Allie. *star eyes* Not just the romantic part, either. I love their constant back-and-forth! And the extreme trust between them. It was just . . . awesome. And I love that both of the MCs are FBI agents. Kinda going fangirl over here about that . . .
The plot was really good, just what I'd expect from a Lynette Eason book! The end did surprise me some, though! (Not who the bad guy was - I had him pegged long before the MCs did. Just . . . how he was the bad guy, I guess.) The twist was so surprising that it honestly took me out of the story. But, within a chapter or two (chapters and time really don't matter when you're up after midnight reading XD), I was sucked back into the story. And it did become a little more believable!
The St. John family . . . they are just awesome. Extremely awesome. I love 'em.
The backstory tied to the theme . . . wowwwwww. Allie's backstory and the theme combine into a riveting story, that's for sure!
Linc - after seeing him in all five of the other stories, I had some preconceived notion of a stoic FBI agent who wasn't exciting. Boy, was I wrong! Linc is more like a good cop who keeps his inner little boy hidden when he has to. XD He's pretty awesome.
The romance was sweet and I loved it. Even if that does mean I wanted to yell at the characters to move faster. XD
The law enforcement side! I just love the LE aspect of the Blue Justice series!!! I'm looking forward to starting Eason's newest series, but I'll really miss the family of cops.

Content: Plenty of violence and some romance involving a few kisses, as is usual for Lynette Eason's books. One mention of being glad a man and a teenage girl weren't in an inappropriate relationship. And there was a very painful wound/medical procedure that were described vividly - it's hard to really bother me with details like this, but I was cringing because it did a very good job of showing how much pain the character was in. There is a scene that would bother some people - minor spoilers: The villain's intentions and methods are very disturbing, and not for young readers. Here's the kinda minor spoiler version: And here are a few more specifics, while I'm still dodging some spoilers:

In short? This is an amazing story! Great characters, plot, suspense, and writing. Not for young readers (maybe under 16) because of the villain, the violence, and some romance.
