Somehow, it doesn't seem finished.......we are left with 3 pregnant women, multiple people in jail but not yet tried and a new direction for the hero? Is there more to come......still a good read.

Awesome
The series is awesome but, I will say the ending is rushed without any real closure or justice!! What about Stone, Madame, and Oscar? What about justice for Nora and Patrick? What about justice for Kendra? What about Wes? What about Nash? What about Alex? Where do things stand? What about Sylvia? I hate this ending! I feel awful but, that is what I got!! I love this series but, absolute let down for me! Though I am a fan of the series! In fact I love it.

Good but could have been great.
I have been a huge fan of this series since the first book. This series kept me guessing and on my toes with each chapter. The author did an amazing job weaving all of the characters together. The amount of corruption in this series was insane. Kelly and Kendra finally get their shot at happily ever after but are tested every step of the way. Between her tortured past with her family to Kelly's guilt over the death of his family and the hurt he feels he's caused those around him they fight to find their forever. I couldn't wait for the dramatic ending to this story.
I wanted so badly to be able to rate this book a five star like the rest, however I felt unfulfilled by the ending. After all the ups downs and turns in this series the ending felt flat and rushed like It had to crammed into the pages. It continued to feel like the next part of the story was coming or another book was on the horizon only to be rushed to the ending. There should have been an epilogue or another chapter with greater detail to tie it all in together. It left so many things unanswered for me. I wanted to see a true ending to this story with all of the loose ends tied up. I felt vested in the characters and what was next only to feel disappointed.
I hope of there is more to the series with different characters that these questions will be answered. What ends up happening to Madam and her crew? What happens to Stone after being indited? Do they find evidence of Kelly's family being murdered? How is Nash and Alex able to move on to the future? Does Wes continue with Mint after all the bad publicity?
All and all this series is a must read and I can't wait to see what's in store next.

Well .....I’m disappointed of ending very flat like it felt rushed, considering the detailed books before this I was expecting a more detailed and polished fulfilling ending ...gutted!!
Oh well this happens get sucked in and left to feel disappointed at the very end

Finally,and simply WOW!
Well Ms.Thomas,
You lead me on a merry ride of twisted nerves, stomach, let alone my poor in brain!
Magnificent! Absolutely magnificent, I thought, as I read other books you had out between the last Kelly Black book, and this the final, you were going to make me go to sleep insane once again knowing I yet to see the end, or in this book beginning, while I waited for the next book about this case, that showed amazing replications of society today!
I used all those wonderful words I had 6 books ago, along with some that simply couldn't be printed, though will admit to them slipping out verbally, while figuratively ripping my hair out in frustration!
Honestly, I have no wish for spin offs from this series! It simply was so much on it's own, and frankly with the thriller second theme, love of course being first and self healing, oh, and growth, they all tend to be part of love, you leave us finally with peace and happiness, but also reality!
An absolutely stunning series! Readers like myself whom have stalked CJ Thomas, and waited impatiently for each "next" book, well worth the wait, and no need to change perfect.

Is it really the end??
What a great series!! I could hardly wait for the next book. Now it's over😢, but is it.???While reading everything about Kelly Black, Kendra, and their new lives coming up, my mind was racing. My thoughts of Kelly Black as District Attorney brought up so many scenarios, I already thought of a new series, so I'm hoping, this storyline isn't quite over,and there is more to come.
So much went on in the the life of Kelly Black. Kendra was his resurrection, and his life can finally move on. But ,with everything that did happen,will his new life be a constant battle? The good guy is there,but it will never be easy!
Thank you for writing the Black series. I hope there is more to come!

Good Ending with Justice
Loved all 7 books of the Kelly Black Affair series. This last book was full of adventure, mystery, love & brought every character's life out like it was reality. Thanks for such a great series to read & enjoy. All 7 books kept me interested & coming back to find out who was doing it & what was going to happen next, all the way to the end, such a great storyline.

Highly Emotional
This last book in the series is emotionally charged. Anxiety seems to swirl around both Kelly and Kendra keeping their lives in turmoil. C.J.Thomas keeps us guessing as to who is really pulling thw strings surrounding Stone, Madam, Oscar, Maria, Tonya and Mint. Kendra's own journey toward finding peace and reconciliation is a rough one. Kelly seems to finally be ready to move on and that means a big change in his life. This was a great series finale.

Hindsight is always 20/20
I accidentally started reading this series. It was too much to keep up with. Too many obstacles and topics covered. I lost interest by the 3rd book. The author is very talented how she fit all those issues into this series. However, I still wanted to know how it all ended. I would recommend to someone who likes mysteries and who done it type of stories.

The best series I've ever read
Honestly ,the best! Many nights I stayed up reading this series. Simply couldn't put it down. It kept me on my toes trying to figure out what was next in the puzzle of Kelly Black 's life. This book was awesome!! It was so dark, gritty and suspensful. I loved it. It kept me on the edge of my seat.I cannot wait to read the last one. I really hope that you keep writing book series about these casts of characters that you have creatd throughout the Hollywood Dreams books and the Black series of books. This was a great ending to a really good series of books.

Rushed ending after 7 books
Normally I love everything this author writes. However, this story was about 3 or 4 books too long. Then after hanging in there for 7 books, the ending was rushed and incomplete. 4 stars because I respect the author. 2 stars for the overall story. Comes out to 3.

This series was pretty good. It had a short but sweet happy end. I feel like there’s another book to the end of this series that wasn’t told. I would of liked to hear what happened to Madam. I would of like to read about Kendra telling Alex she was pregnant. I hope there’s more to the story in the future.

Justice Finally
It was a wild, dangerous ride but we reached the end. I don't usually read multiple books to tell one story, but this series was worth it.Kelly and Kendra are broken people with spirit, strength and compassion. The secondary characters( Wes,Nash,Kami and Alex) you can't help but cheer for them.

It's Finally Over

Well..hmmm
I waited anxiously for this book. It didn't wow me like the other 5 but the ending was fine. It was a little anticlimactic but all the.characters endings were good. I loved that kendra finally let her family go and she and Kelly can work on thier own.

What a series. Can't believe it's over. Loved it from beginning to end. Read entire series twice and will restart again. C.J. Thomas has done justice from start to finish. Thanks for the ride.

What a ride!
Have we really reached the end. Book 7 was a way to tie up the loose ends in the tale of corruption, conspiracy, drugs and murders; the author accomplished that, but is that really the end for Kelly and Kendra. I don't think so. Long, involved but a worthy read.

I really enjoyed this series. After finishing each book I couldn't wait to start the next one. I would like to see the series continue, or even spin offs of Alex and Nash's story.

A true romantic thriller
So very thankful Kelly and Kendra found the HEA they both so deserved.
A thriller with so many twists and intrigue that many times I doubted they would survive to make it to a HEA, but so thankful I didn’t give up reading this amazing series.

Best series
This whole series is a complete success. It kept me on edge and interested, never a dull moment. Would love to read more of Kendra and Kelly, Alex and Nash and of course Kami and Wes!
