The greatest weapon of mass destruction is time invasion. Our history can be altered, our present can be changed and our future can be rewritten. A young detective is determined to solve a murder, even though clues disappear and memories fade.
To solve an unorthodox crime, Detective Nightshade teams up with unusual allies - a beautiful young psychic who can command the elements and a group of aliens called Sentries, who have secretly protected the Earth for a thousand years.
As evidence evaporates and the crime itself is forgotten as reality changes, Nightshade risks the existence of those he loves to learn the truth.
Susan Frances was born in Queens, New York, but lived with her husband and raised their children in New Jersey.
Susan says, "All things science fiction have always interested me. Stephen King, Kurt Vonnegut and others like them draw me in, but I always look for that spiritual edge in stories."
Loved the idea of the transporting the detective, loved the novel! Can't wait until another novel from this Author! The murder mystery kept me on my toes, and showed not everyone is who they appear to be! Great novel definitely recommend!
If you like science fiction, stories about time travel, and writing that makes you THINK, pulling you in directions that you weren't anticipating, THIS is a must-read for you. I am starting it now for the second time, and will re-read it before I read anything else, while the impact of the first reading is fresh in my head. Entertaining, insightful, and just fun to read and to think about and discuss afterword. Will make you want to read more from this author, a gifted story-teller who has written a gem here.
This story is a murder mystery of the most unusual kind. A young cop does the unthinkable, he alters time, and in doing so, gets himself 'erased'. Someone is murdered, perhaps covering up the young cop's motive for unauthorized 'time invasion' . I would strongly recommend this book to anyone who likes science fiction and romance in a very unique setting. A flawed but dedicated homicide detective follows clues that disappear, as do motives and suspects. His allies are unorthodox to say the least, and one he will fall in love with. It is very different, but I would suggest it to all who love to read.
