There’s nothing richer than a second chance in the steamy second book of New York Times bestselling author J.S. Scott’s Accidental Billionaires series.

Aiden Sinclair was a commercial fisherman before he suddenly came into his billionaire inheritance—not that he’s complaining. Being a Sinclair does have its perks. But things were simpler before the money. He may have been dirt poor, but he loved his job and fully intended to always come back from the sea to his girlfriend, Skye Weston, so they could move toward something more permanent. Or at least that had been the plan . . . until he returned from a two-month fishing trip to discover that she had moved away and was marrying somebody else. It tore his world apart.

Now Skye’s back in town after nearly a decade. She’s a single mother and just as beautiful as ever. However, for some odd reason, she appears to hate him, when it should be Aiden who wants nothing to do with the woman who dumped him. Unfortunately, more than nine years of separation has done nothing to put a damper on their white-hot chemistry when they’re together. But even if those feelings are real, Skye has been keeping secrets. The truth of the past is about to come to light, and there is so much more at stake than just Aiden’s heart.

Fear made her fearless. Pain made her strong and love helped her survive. Entangled is a salute to the voices never heard. The hopes forever lost and the fighter who never quits. Scott celebrates the spirit of every person who has survived what seems impossible and found the hero and/or heroine within. For Aiden Sinclair and Skye Weston life was never a fairytale, but the glow of young love helped them get through. Until it all came crashing down. Can these former soulmates find their second chance in the ashes that were left behind?

I'm a true sucker for a second chance romance. I love a good grovel and I love watching characters reconnect after some time. Seeing that their chemistry was only set to simmer over the years and sparked back to life once they're near each other again is the stuff of fairy tales. Love it!

Aiden Sinclair and Skye Weston were young lovers. Both money poor, their love for each other and family made them rich. Aiden was a fisherman and was leaving for two months on a job. No problem, because they were so in love, he knew that Skye would be there when he got back. But she wasn't. When he gets home, not only is Skye NOT there waiting for him, she's set to marry another man. And heartbreak becomes Aiden's best friend.

I love J.S. Scott's writing. I've been promoting and sharing her working for years now and I don't see that ever stopping. However, this book wasn't a huge winner for me. There's only one reason why I couldn't fall in love with it and it was all Skye's fault. While I felt bad for what she suffered during her marriage, she shouldn't have been in that marriage to begin with. And I'm not trying to blame the victim, so don't get me wrong, but she had stupid reasons for doing what she did and all the pain could have been avoided if she had stopped for one moment and thought with logic. Then when she comes back, she not only acted like she was wronged, she expected Aiden to jump through hoops to gain back her affection. WTH?! She left him. She broke HIS heart. The nerve!

So read this book to learn more about Aiden. He was truly swoon-worthy and everything someone would look for in a hero seeking redemption. He apologized even when he wasn't wrong and was willing to move mountains, swim seas, and leap tall buildings in order to get back with the one woman he loved above all else. Aiden's worth it!

I have to say I love J.S Scotts books, I feel like part of the Sinclair family at this point.
Skye and Aidens story is so touching, made up of love rekindled and second chances.
Both the characters are so lovable and then adding Maya into the mix tops it off.
The topic of Skyes painful past was covered very well.
All in all another great love story, well written and a pleasure to read.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

A second chance romance, this was a light read despite some of the plot strands. Aiden Sinclair and 18-year-old Skye Weston were young lovers, bright eyed and looking forward to a future together, but when Aiden leaves for a job, thinking Skye will be waiting for him like she promised, he is shocked and broken-hearted to find she has left and married another man. Years later divorced and with a daughter Skye returns, angry at Aiden for what she thinks he knew and what she thinks was his reaction, in turn Aiden believes Skye left him to marry a man with money – so their initial interactions are filled with hurt and wariness. When Skye realises Aiden never received the letter, she left him, she knows that she needs to tell him something that will change things for them both.

This was a nice enough light, one time read, but I wanted more sizzle and snap. Also given some of the strands of the plot, I was expecting more tension and intensity. The main characters were ok, but they didn't stick in my mind.

This book was definitely not my thing. The whole miscommunication thing is usually a cute trope, but this was just immature. I don't know why you wouldn't want to clarify something when it involves a child. Letting 10 years go by of that child's life without their parent because of an assumption/miscommunication is just bad parenting.
Aside from the issues with the plot I just didn't like the chemistry of the characters and everything felt very convenient and coincidental.

SPOILERS SPOILERS even if I don’t consider them to be spoilers. This story has been rewritten many times. This is just another one by different author

I loathe miscommunication/misunderstanding. It’s worse when it causes a child not to have one of the parents in their life because “THE MOTHER” didn’t have the decency to tell the father about the child AND ends up MARRYING ANOTHER MAN https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...

Have mercy, please!?!? These trope again?! And again?! And again?! What a bunch of unoriginal books are being published later. Same old story, different author.

https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...

And to add insult to injury heroine is an unlikable stupid one. If reasons above weren’t enough to pass this book, heroine’s character would do the trick. A fmc ruins a book for me

Book two of the Accidental Billionaires series
Aiden and Skye were in a very new intense relationship where Aiden was in his 20’s and Skye was just barley 18.
Aiden goes off on a long haul fishing job but when he comes back Skye has left with a man twice her age and married him.
8yrs later Skye has moved back to Citrus Beach to find Aiden is rich and seems to have no idea why she would be mad at him.
This story is a nice change of pace from other books in series. Aiden and Skye have serious back story with a lot of tension and hate involved but you don’t find out everything straight away.
I do like that Aiden seems to be a perfect gentleman but with a bit of baggage especially when it comes to Skye.
My only fault I feel is Skye, I do feel she could have just gone to Sinclair’s for help instead of listening to her crazy mothers.
Great HEA though. Really enjoying this new series

Entangled was the second book in the Accidental Billionaires series by JS Scott. The series was a spinoff from her Sinclair series.

Aiden Sinclair was one of six siblings that had grown up poor. Their father was non-existent until he died and then their mother also died young, leaving Aiden and the two other oldest boys to raise their younger three siblings. They are all grown now but recently learned of their late father’s affluence and became billionaires overnight.

Skye Weston also had quite a story. She had just moved back to Citrus Beach divorced and with her eight year old daughter in tow. She was Jade’s (book one) best friend from childhood but avoided Aiden like the plague since she had been back. They had history but the break up left bad feelings.

Scott left us with a cliff hanger at the end of Ensnared. In Entangled, the saga was unveiled with all the details. It wasn’t exactly a realistic plot, but it was still enjoyable and entertaining. Scott also set up Seth’s story next in Enamored and it has promise to be fiery!

Entangled is the second book in The Accidental Billionaire series. I didn't read the first one, but I don't feel you have to read the first book to enjoy the second book.   My curiosity was piqued, while reading Entangled, to find out the details of Jade and Eli’s story, so I plan to go back and read the first book in this series.  I always enjoy second chance love stories, and this one was excellent. Entangled is told in the dual point of view style, going between the two main characters Aiden Sinclair and Skye Weston.  This book was well written, and I did like Ms. Scott’s writing style. Also, she develops her characters in such detail, I felt like I knew them and they are people whom I would want to befriend.

Skye and Aiden started their love affair when Skye was only eighteen and Aiden was twenty-six. Both Skye and Aiden grew up poor.  Aiden and his older brothers have been supporting their younger siblings since their mother died and their father abandoned them. Skye grew up with a crazy religious mom that let a cult dictate how she lived her life.

Skye and Aiden’s relationship was very intense from the beginning, and their attraction was off the charts. An unforeseen complication forces Skye to leave town, and the two are separated for almost ten years. She comes back to Citrus Beach a changed woman, not the innocent girl she once was. The things she had to live through were unbelievably horrific. Although she has lived in fear for the past ten years, this fear has made her stronger but also closed off emotionally. Her mother has died and left Skye the cafe where she worked all her life, so she comes back to Citrus Beach to try to make the cafe a success.  Aiden is also not the poor fisherman that Skye left all those years ago, he is now a billionaire, a very gorgeous, alpha billionaire, who is still broken-hearted and pissed off that Skye dumped him for a wealthy mobster.

Reading Skye and Aiden’s story was a joy.  These two have never stopped loving each other, but will Skye’s past and her secrets prevent them from realizing that they still love each other and that they belong together.  Sorry, that's all I willing to reveal.  Entangled is a beautiful story of second chance love and I wholeheartedly recommend reading this book.

I'm a sucker for JS Scott's Billionaire books. They always put a huge smile on my face and make my heart and soul soar. Nobody writes them better than her. When she announced that she is going to write another series for Montlake, The Accidental Billionaires series, I was excited beyond words. Especially about the fact that the major characters from the new series are related to the Sinclair Billionaires from her previous books!

Entangled is Aiden Sinclair's book and a sweet, heart-warming second chance love story. This is one of my most favorite tropes ever! I love the anticipation of two people re-connecting after a long time and finding their way back to each other.

Aiden Sinclair was a commercial fisherman before he suddenly became a billionaire over night. Being rich now has its perks, but things were definitely simpler before the money. Despite being poor Aiden loved his job and made plans to return back from the sea to his girlfriend Skye, so they could move toward something more permanent. Unfortunately his dreams shattered the moment he returned home and discovered that Skye had moved away and was marrying somebody else without any explanation.

Now Skye’s back in town after nearly a decade. She’s a single mother and just as beautiful as ever. For some odd reason she appears to harbor some bad feelings towards Aiden, when it should be him who wants nothing to do with the woman who dumped him and broke his heart. But not even nine years of separation could make their scorching chemistry disappear. Despite them both fighting their feelings, they can't seem to stay away from each other. When some unexpected revelations and secrets come to light, both will need to decide if they can get past their issues or move on into a future together.

I loved Aiden and Skye. Both were amazing people who loved with their whole heart and soul. Unhappy circumstances led to their separation and left some unresolved things between them. But underneath all the hurt and heartbreak they still cared for each other all these years. I was cheering for them from the start and wanted their HEA badly.

All I can say is that Entangled was another intriguing and well written story from JS Scott. She really never disappoints! I'm super excited to read the next books in the Accidental Billionaires series. 4 stars!

4 1/2 stars! I love this series and the Sinclair family. J.S. has given us a whole new bunch of Sinclairs to fall in love with! I really enjoyed this second chance romance so much! It is such a wonderful story. Aiden & Skye had some serious communication issues that unfortunately kept them from being together or even speaking for that matter for so many years. So much happened to cause the perfect storm that crushed their young love and led to years of being apart. Skye recently got out of a scary situation that very well could have broken her, but she rose up and fought until she could make a better life for herself. Aiden came into an inheritance that basically took him from rags to riches but there was always something missing. And that was Skye. It's a beautiful thing when hearts that have always been entangled, find their way back to each other and claim the HEA they so rightfully deserve.

This is the second book 2 in J S Scotts Accidental Billionaires series.

This is Aiden Sinclair and Skye Weston’s story. Aiden and Skye grew up very poor. They fell in love and promised to stay true to each other but Skye is forced into a marriage with a mobster and leaves Aiden broken hearted. Skye returns home after eight years with her daughter, to find that Aiden is no longer a fisherman but a wealthy businessman. This is a lovely second chance romance with well-written believable characters. I really enjoyed it and you won’t be disappointed. I received this ARC from NetGalley for an honest review.

I love this series and all the new Sinclair's we've met! This is Aidan Sinclair's story. It's a wonderful second chance romance as Aidan is reunited with his first and only love, Skye Weston. When they were younger Aidan thought they had it all. Sure money was in short supply but he was certain their love could withstand the separation his upcoming commercial fishing trip would inflict. He was so wrong. When he returns Skye is gone and she's marrying another man. Now almost ten years later Skye has returned. They are both very different people but the spark between them still burns brightly. Can they put the past behind them? I definitely recommend you grab a copy and find out.

This is a second chance love story that will definitely pull at your heart strings. Aidan and Skye had very strong feelings toward each other nine years ago, but due to interferences and misunderstandings they were separated. It is now almost a decade later and they are back in the same town and there are some angry and hurt feelings towards one another. But once all is revealed, Aidan was determined to have his family. Unfortunately Skye does not make it easy for him, life has been difficult for her, so much so that she closed off any and all emotions except towards her daughter, Maya. But Aidan is a Sinclair and he has the means and drive to not miss out on their happily ever after.

I loved their story, but the misunderstanding that drove them apart was a bit iffy for me, but concessions do need to be made with how young Skye was and how she was brought up. I was really upset with Seth’s involvement in all that. They both sacrifices so much for others. Aidan, along with his older siblings sacrificed their childhood to make sure that they all remain together, and Skye sacrificed her own happiness (and so much more) to make sure her daughter was protected. It was finally their turn to find happiness.

Another great read by J.S. Scott. I can not wait to read about the rest of the Sinclairs and their stories.

Thank you Netgalley and Montlake Romance for giving me the opportunity to read this complimentary copy. All opinions are my own.

This is the second book in the Sinclair spin-off series, The Accidental Billionaires, featuring a second chance romance between Aiden Sinclair and Skye. I've been up and down with the Sinclairs and I enjoyed this one. It slowed down a bit and I wasn't fully satisfied with the explanation of her decision and development of her past with her mother and her ex-husband and his family. I kept thinking more drama would pop up with them. BUT there was plenty of angst and emotions that kept me engaged and turning the page. I liked Aiden a lot and how he knew what he wanted once he learned about his daughter, including his future career. I'm not impressed with Seth's personality, his explanation for why he did what he did, or his obsession for more money. He's not humble in comparison to Aiden, which is a quality that endeared me to him. I did like the teaser for him and I'm crossing my fingers I'll warm up to him in the next book and his comeuppance.

I received a copy of this book via NetGalley for an honest review.

J.S. Scott is one of the best contemporary romance authors around. Her lastest book Entangled (The Accidental Billionaires Book 2) is a second change love story featuring Aiden Sinclair and Skye Weston. Top notch writing, believable characters mixed in with just the right amount of emotional turmoil and hot steamy scenes will have you hooked from the first page. I adore J.S. Scott's Sinclair family series and eagerly await the next installment.

The second book in the Accidental Billionaires series is as mesmerizing and heartfelt as the first.

This second chance romance, featuring Skye and Aiden's story, takes us back to their younger years and tell about a strong and unselfish love. Skip forward nine years and a lot has happend for them both. Can they find common ground and sort out all their secrets and bad feelings for each other?

I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Readers Copy of this book.

Entangled is the second book in The Accidental Billionaires series by J.S. Scott. It's a stand-alone story as each book is focused on a different sibling from the Sinclair family and there is not a continuous plot.

Aiden and Skye were a couple a decade ago, which makes the book a second chance romance. What I loved is that Aiden was not a manwhore, even though the author could have used the "he was hurt card". Since reading Carry my heart, I was a little worried about that, but there was no mention of Aiden sleeping with a large number of women or something. Skye has only been with him and her ex-husband who is a piece of work and was sexually abusing her. It was not a pretty thing to read.

If I had to describe the book using one word only, I would go for misunderstanding/miscommunication. There is lots of it and it all began almost a decade ago. It still continued in this story and it made things worse for our characters.

At some point, I wanted to shake some sense into Aiden. He was a little douchey and I was expecting more of him. The news he got took him by surprise and he said some things he shouldn't have. At least he knew that he was wrong and grooved. Skye's character is more complex than I initially thought and I found all her actions justified. I don't think that she could have done anything more in the past considering where she was coming from and how her circumstances were.

Overall, I will say that Entangled was good and enjoyable. My rating is 4.5 stars since neither 4 or 5 seem right and I will round it up to 5 despite Aiden's mistakes and not so kind words. We all make mistakes after all.

I confess that I had to read this book slowly because I just needed to soak up all those strong feelings that came out from this amazing story . Firstly let me say that I love the Sinclair Family and with this new series I love them more and more perhaps because . they struggled to survive, yet they overcame the difficulties of life. Aiden is absolutely a keeper and the perfect character that shows what loyalty and love is all about. He has loved for his entire life Skye and although he thought she betrayed him, he always had a slight hope that someday they would get back together. So since fate has a mysterious way of acting, both characters get the opportunity to start over again. It will not be easy, because of the issues that Skye has endured with her previous marriage but at the end they will both have their happy ending. So in my opinion this is a voyage towards the consolidation of a relationship that had initially been destroyed and the achievement of mutual trust. No spoiler here except for my recommendation of this lovely and touching story. I’m voluntarily leaving a review after receiving a courtesy copy of the book

5 Star Review Entangled (The Accidental Billionaires #2) by JS Scott
The author is relatively new to me and I was interested to read this one as the previous book I read was a tad dark (something I love but I know is not to everyone’s taste. Entangled is a second chance at love story that I really enjoyed.
Suddenly thrust into wealth Aiden had always planned on returning for Skye. Sadly plans do not always turn out as Skye has left their hometown and is now involved with someone else.
This was a hot and passionate story filled with angst and emotion. The chemistry between Aiden Sinclair and Skye Weston is scorching as the flames almost jump off the page as you read.
Fast forward 10 years and Skye has returned ho,e, now a single mum. The chemistry between Aiden and Skye is still just as sizzling hot as ever but it appears that Skye resents Aiden and cannot stand him, despite their chemistry.
What will happen when the secrets of the past are revealed? Will the past be resolved and can Aiden and Skye move forward?
A story of love, romance, forgiveness and family. This was a special story that ticked the boxes for me and I will definitely be reading more from this author.

Entangled is the second book in The Accidental Billionaires series by J. S. Scott. It's a spin off of her very popular and successful The Sinclair series. This is a second chance at love story which happens to be my favorite romance trope. Jan's incredible talent never ceases to amaze me. I'm a sucker for her touching and captivating stories. Her characters are multi-layered and complex and what's most important so relatable. Although they are rich and privileged they still have doubts and insecurities like everyone else. You love them despite their flaws and mistakes.

Aiden Sinclair was a commercial fisherman leading a simple and hard life until he suddenly became a billionaire overnight. He has inherited a vast amount of money and is now filthy rich. But things were much simpler when he was still dirt poor. Aiden loved his job and fully intended to come back from the sea to his girlfriend Skye so they could move toward something permanent. But when he returned from a two-month fishing trip he made the painful discovery that she had moved away and was marrying somebody else.

Skye’s back in her home town Citrus Beach after nearly a decade to run her family's Café. She’s a single mother of a beautiful and bright daughter named Maya. Skye wants nothing but to forget her painful past and start anew. But that's nearly impossible when gorgeous Aiden is around to remind her of her biggest regret. All these years apart haven't put a damper on their scorching hot chemistry. But Skye has been keeping big secrets which could potentially break not only his heart.

Skye and Aiden were two absolutely admirable and wonderful characters. They loved each other dearly since they were young but unfortunately some miscommunication and misunderstanding have separated them for 9 long years. When fate puts them together again they will have to accept that they can't change the past but can only work towards a better and happier future together.

J. S. Scott did a really good job with this sweet story. I highly recommend it to all her fans and new readers who didn't yet have the chance to pick up a story written by this amazing author. I can't wait to see what Jan has in tow for the next Sinclair sibling-Seth. I'm giving Entangled 4 stars.

I liked this one better than the last one in this series. There’s a huge miscommunication between Aiden and Skye that had me shaking my head at times. But other than that, I did enjoy their story and the ending was great.

What can I say? This was a 5 star read for me. This author writes a lot of Billionaire romances. And from what I can tell quite a few of them are interconnected in some way. The Billionaires in this series are "accidental billionaires." These Sinclair siblings grew up poor and struggled in many ways. I did not actually read book one prior to reading this one. Entangled is a standalone. That said, while you can definitely follow along, I did have some questions regarding the details of how this group of Sinclairs became billionaires. I will definitely be back-reading to get my answers.

So, this is a second chance romance with a lot of emotional baggage. Aiden and Skye were a couple for a very brief time when she was eighteen and he was 5/6 years older. Aiden left on an eight week fishing trip, looking forward to his return when he could work on his future with Skye. Unfortunately, Skye was gone when he returned and Aiden was heartbroken. Here is where I tell you that you will have to read this on your own. I can tell you there are misunderstandings, a lot of rampant emotions and a sweet happily-ever-after.

I truly enjoyed reading this book. It was well written and flowed nicely. I definitely will read more from this author!

This is my honest and unbiased review. Thank you for taking the time to read it. :)

After anxiously awaiting Aiden Sinclair’s story I was not disappointed. This author once again has a fresh and new plot for the alpha men she is so famous for writing about. Aiden and Skye were high school sweethearts and planned a life together. Aiden goes on a fishing job only to be gone a short time and then return to begin a life with Skye. When Aiden never shows up she is forced to do something that is heartbreaking. When Skye and Aiden are brought together for her best friend, Jade Sinclair’s wedding, Skye can’t figure out why Aiden seems angry at her and Aiden is puzzled at Skye’s reaction to him. Once they are forced to talk to each other so many secrets and misunderstandings come to light, then the true talking starts and there is hope for something together that was once lost.

This is a well-written plot, easy to read, with some laughter, tears, lots of family love and support. I enjoy the fact that not only do you have a H&H and what’s going on with them, there is a lot of family members who have a say in the story as well. This always adds much love and humor to the story. I will always read whatever this author writes because she writes such great stories of love, family and happy ever after.

I received an ARC from Net Galley for an honest review.
