Jada Young life has always been difficult, growing up in an abusive household her goal was to escape and never come back. Not good
Idk how this book got so many great reviews. I tried to make it through but I got to 54% and had to surrender. Master (I hate the name) was so damn disrespectful, and no matter how u look that should have been a turn off to the girl jada. How do u go from meeting this man one night and then damn near the next night u living with him? This after he pulled a gun on you in the bar,(I wanted to stop reading after that, but I remembered the reviews so I kept going). After reading some more I figured it out. Jada is certifiably slow asf. Everybody knew it and they treated her as such. Winter talked to her like a little kid, her momma talked to her like she was stupid, and all the men in her life treated her like she was stupid. Then her character actually was STUPID like I couldn’t stand her at all. I loved winter though but even her character wasn’t enough to save the story. One thing I noticed is I don’t think these authors know anything about bank accounts. Like why wouldn’t she just open her a bank account and have her money there instead of inside a wall in her room in her mommas house. Then the whole situation with her momma and lucci was just too over the top for me. Then when u place all the errors and missing words in the story it was just bad. I’m just gone stop here

WOW...
I’m so glad I decided to keep reading this book. Winter is hands down my favorite character in this book and any others that I have read. She kept me laughing throughout the book. Master & Sensei mom really flipped the script. Master has grown on me because I definitely didn’t like his mouth in the beginning. I’m glad to see Jada getting a backbone, but the poor child can’t catch a break. People like Lucci is what’s wrong with the world. Just tearing peoples lives to shred and not caring at all. SMH. Can’t wait to start on part 2. #teamSensei #teamMaster

I can't... From the beginning this was off on the wrong foot. Cedric the Entertainer? That's who Master is supposed to look like, I'm good. Jada's a stripper because her ex (Lucci) did something causing her to loose it all 2 years prior but flip a page and she meets Master who is getting shot by her best friend for "playing" like he was going to kill her and her ex. After Winter shot Master she broke bottles at his bar and robbed him while he stood on watching. Nope! I'm done this makes no sense from the beginning and I'm not wasting my time with the foolishness.

Great book
My first time reading this author i must say this was a page turner, i can’t wait for part 2 to come out. Who would have thought that Lucci was married to Jada mother i did not
Expect that at all and didn’t understand why she needed to take her money if she had Lucci. I’m glad that she found Master and gave him a chance. Now for winter that girl is crazy and Sensi even her out. Let’s see if that baby is really his i don’t trust storm

Loved it!
Winter is a hot mess and she kept me laughing throughout the entire book. She and Sensei was great for each other. As far as her parents go, they were so wrong for what they did to her. Now Jada and Master were the perfect couple. I’m glad she left Lucci’s behind alone and I never expected him to be married to her mother. That’s just wrong on so many levels. I can’t wait to read book two to find out more about these so called babies of Master and Sensei.

Luving it
A well written story that has a steady flow. Drama filled with plenty of twist. The secrets that are coming to light are something else. Well developed characters that are likeable and interesting. On to part two.
