If you don't know the answer, you haven't been paying attention.
Your favorite hard luck heroes, the Jarheads of Oberon, are back in a gripping third instalment that you'll need to read right down to the very last sentence!
A DR. SYFY. Novel (FMB. - 3)/ Betrayed/Out on the Most Wanted List/ Then Ignored
DR. had. penned the third SYFY. Novel in the Fugitive Marine series. The Marines have been dishonored, put on most wanted list, but have been unable to convince the leaders of Earth that they are under imminent attack from a alien species. The bar has been raised and a criminal force forms an alliance to aid those corrupt individuals and the alien species invade SOL System. They have one stumbling block. The Space Marines aka Fugitive Marines is the first block, the middle block and the final block. This is an excellent read for the genre.....DEHS
This book wasn't needed. Short of the last few chapters, it did nothing to advance the story. Unless you consider Maggot's wife returning or Dev and Gloom forming a relationship as advancement. I considered them obvious tropes. The book ends with the Jarheads in the same place the previous two ended. I bet they escape again. Maybe someone will actually get hurt for once or deal with some PTSD. This series is the worst kind of CW TV show. Fans of that network will likely enjoy the book, but I didn't. One more to read and I can ESCAPE to better literary worlds.
The jarheads are back fighting for the survival of mankind. They get help from some humans who pretend to care for mankind too. At least that's how it seems to be. So they manage to steal 4 'aircrafts' and return to Oberon One to prevent not so nice aliens from entering our solar system. And they succeed against all odds. Relieved and tired they return to earth and prepare to be celebrated as the saviours of mankind. They couldn't be more wrong though. An ending I didn't see coming at all....
This is one hell of a space opera, full of action and plot twists. You won't see the ending coming and won't believe it when you get there. I was surprised at the twist. The characters are well written and believable, their marines. If your looking for a great space opera, this one will not let you down.
While I thoroughly enjoyed the three books in the series, I was disappointed to find the end of book 3 was a "Perils of Pauline" ending. When I set out to read what claims to be a 3 book series, I expect the story to wrap up in 3 books. Nothing against David Ryker, but I am tired of being strung along.
Wow, just wow. Absolutely enjoying each and every book in this series big time. Characters that grab you, an unlikely team and damn just whe you think cool they get a break. BAM,,!
I really enjoyed the book until the ending. I’ve read a lot of Sufi and I have no idea of what happened. There better be another book to set things aright
Enjoyed another adventure with this group and look forward for to the next book. Good plotting, action and characters drive the story didn’t disappoint
