Abigail knew it was wrong to fantasize about her step-brother, but she couldn't help herself. Colin had been the only good in her life after their parents married.
After a year of trying to worm her way into his heart, Abigail had convinced herself she'd never be able to have him. Then everything changed one night when Colin kissed her and confessed his own desires.
There was just one problem… Victor Wagner. A man with a heavy fist and lingering eyes and who Abigail considered to be Satan disguised as her stepfather.
Despite their fear of Victor's wrath, they give into their temptation because it feels oh-so right. But if he ever discovers the truth about their relationship, there will be hell to pay.
Taboo. Sexy. Flirty. Dangerous. Those are the words I would use to describe Erica Marselas’ newest story. She takes in the home of Colin (muse: Scott Eastwood) and Abby. Step-siblings to lovers.
Colin and Abby are thrown together by the marriage of their parents (Abby’s mother and Colin’s father). Once married to Victor, Abby’s mother all but forgets about her and always takes her new husbands side, no matter what he does, like when he hits his son or looks at Abby just a little to closely.
One thing leads to another with Colin and Abby, with both of them truly understanding how the other is living. Abigail had stronger feelings towards Colin than just being his little stepsister. She never thought that he would ever feel the same way, until the next morning after her house party.
So Wrong, So Right is much more than just a taboo story of stepsiblings getting together. The two of them truly find love and shelter with one another. They will do anything to protect each other, especially from Colin’s father, Victor. Colin becomes the protector that Abby needs and craves.
“I see my life with you, Abbs. I don’t know how yet, but I am going to spend the rest of my life with you.” - Colin. Swoon. The things that he says to her... and in French at times. Holy hotness.
This story teaches you to be you and to love who your heart wants to love. Marselas writes Colin and Abby’s love story beautiful with just enough sexiness, drama, emotions, and all the feelings you could want from a taboo love story.
*If you think that taboo is not your thing, especially stepsiblings getting together, this book is still for you. It is just so much more. You won’t be disappointed.
So first half of this book was great. The angst magnificent. Second half of this book dragged on like a motherfucker. After they successfully ran away I was basically done, but there was still so much left to go.
In terms of the level of taboo-ness. I did not find the step-sibling thing taboo at all. They were not raised together and the relationship never felt familial to me. The element I did find taboo was the main characters respective ages. 16 and 20 is a significant and illegal age difference, but personally it did not creep me out or impede from my enjoyment. If that would creep you out, this is not the book for you.
Also I did not realize that there was a surprise pregnancy in this book, but I like surprise pregnancies so it was not a problem for me.
I will say there was no third act breakup which is always an unexpected and appreciated surprise in a romance book.

Beautiful written book that had so many emotions that I felt the pain and the happiness as if it was being portrayed in living color right in front of me. The characters were just so lovable and in tune with their feelings and the emotional pain they face made them strong and believable.
Oh,TABOO romances, how I love you so!! Erica Marsales does the delicious, dirty, and forbidden so so well! Hells Bells! Abby and Colin’s relationship was all that, but it was SO much more. This wasn’t just a tale of forbidden lust between a hotter than sin stepbrother and his beyond gorgeous step sister. I loved the depth to these characters. They were generally both really great people who got a crap hand in the parent lottery. The stepdad Victor (Puke 🤢) was deplorable 👿and her moms support of him was just devastating. My heart broke💔 for Abby over and over again. I was so thankful she had Colin. He was her protector as well as her lover and her friend. There was so much going on in this great book. You had drama and angst, but at the same time you had such love and sweetness. Gah!! The heat, hot damn the heat between Colin and Abby! 🔥The banter between them. Then the suspense in this story. 😳It had forgiveness and frustration and mystery. So many just WOW moments you don’t see coming! 🤯EVERYTHING , this book legit has EVERYTHING! Things weren’t always as they seemed, and that’s what was so fabulous about it. You didn’t have any idea what might happen next and it was amazing from the first page to the last. This was such a great read for me. I love this genre and it had so much more than I was expecting so I was like a 4-for-one deal! ⭐️You get your sweet romance, hot taboo, drama and suspense all in one amazing book! Definitely pick up this book today!
My cr8zysockbookblock overall ratings for this book! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️- This author roped me in from the very first page with this book. The forbidden/taboo is so my jam and this was such a different take on it. It was hot, the banter was fantastic and beautiful and sweet at the same time. The flow was perfect and it was engaging from the beginning to the end. I was definitely on the edge of my seat for some of this book worrying for my characters that they were going to be caught and what was going to happen if they were?!?! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥- This book was hot! There was lots of scorching hot scenes. They were perfection and the spacing between hot scenes and amount of them was just right! HOLY MOLY! 🔥 Definitely a Panty Chucker Y’all! 🌪Cliffhanger Warning- No Cliffhanger. Everything is wrapped up perfectly in this book.🥰😍
Is it hot in here, or is it just me after reading So Wrong, So Right? This book wasn't at all what I expected...in the best possible way! It was sweet but spicy, steamy but romantic. I'm a sucker for a good forbidden love story, and this book definitely delivered!
My first book by Erica Marselas and definitely won't be my last. I finished it in one sitting. Loved both main characters😊. Will definitely recommend to my friends.
Couldn't get enough of Colin & Abby. This was a new author for me & hope to read more. This was a bit of an emotional one for me. I'm voluntarily leaving an honest review for a copy of the book via booksprout.
Wow! This was an amazing story about overcoming obstacles and finding the strength you didn't know you had. Abigail is crushing hard on her step-brother Colin. She is only sixteen but she knows her feelings are real. Colin tried to fight it but he is also lusting after Abigail. The chemistry between them is off the charts hot! Colin's dad Victor is a vile dangerous man with bad intentions. Colin will do whatever it takes to protect Abigail. This was a beautiful romance that kept me reading until the very last page. Anxious to read more by books by Erica Marselas.
Colin and abs have a unique relationship but when it comes out in the opening not everyone is quite friendly about it, this book wow so many good topics it touched on and the author even solved it!
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
You had me at taboo! I knew the second Marselas decided to publish a taboo romance it would be SIZZLING to the touch. Holy hell, Colin and Abby are so deliciously sinful, I was fanning myself during some of their scenes. (Not that that's abnormal, Erica Marselas' love scenes are always fire.) But aside from the taboo love story, there's a story about relationships and perseverance and not giving up on the people you love. Colin's dad is the devil in disguise and makes his feelings known about him, Abby (and them together once he finds out) very known which broke my heart reading his hateful words. Ugh, seriously the worst! And her mom was not much better (though she redeems herself in the end). They take parents that tell kids that they're "too young to know what love means" to the EXTREME. Without giving away anything, I was pleased with the outcome of the story where the parents were concerned ;) This story had heat, drama and a beautiful unconventional love story that I won't forget for some time!
Taboo is the least thing you need to worry about in this book.
First off I was very lucky to have received a copy of this book from the author. I was not disappointed at all. I do believe I found a new to me author and I'm looking forward to reading more of her work!. Ok. Ok. Ok. I love reading some taboo books and So Wrong So Right does not disappoint. Colin and Abigail are step siblings who have crossed the taboo bridge. They fall in love and have many obstacles to overcome. One of those being Viktor Colin's ruthless father. I will say that the underlying issues in this book is what had me so engrossed in the story. There were times I wanted to throw my kindle, because I wasn't getting my answers fast enough. Lol. I was sitting on the edge of my seat while waiting to see what was going to happen next. Now the reason for only the 4 stars is because I felt the climax in the book was a little anti climatic. Now that's not necessarily a bad thing, because this is a really good book but me being me wanted more to happen.
The relationship between Abby and Colin, I'm sure is like most couples, where they get on each other's nerves but can laugh it off and get back on track.
They take the good with the bad, and the horrendously bad. This book isn't just a love story, it's also about family, the trials and tribulations of young love and doing everything you can to get your ever after. Abby and Colin didn't ask for the situation they were in, they follow their hearts and it leads them through many things those of us may be living through everyday.
You can't help but fall in love with Colin and how he did what he did out of love even if he didn't realise it at first and how Abby young though she maybe knows exactly what she wants and what she stands for.
At the end of this book, I was sad it was over because I fell in love with both Colin and Abby and not just cause she shares my name but I felt like I was her and I would have done everything that she did.
You have an amazing way with words Marselas and I hope to read more of your work. Will definitely be re reading this one over and over
I could hardly put this story down... so I lost a bit of sleep (understatement), and the housework piled up - but it was sooo worth it! I read it over a relatively short period, and absolutely LOVED it!!! This story really was fantastic! It was emotional, sweet, a bit confronting and suspenseful, and very, very sexy! Okay, so it was a bit taboo, and even though the topic isn't something I would ordinarily be drawn to... I am now hooked! One of my favourite quotes from Colin was, "I'm glad our parents got together because it led me to you". SWOON <3 And when he spoke French... OH.MY.GOD!!! I could only imagine how hot that would've sounded... (I was thinking Bradley Cooper-speaking-fluent-French HOT)… OH.MY!!! They were a beautiful couple! I'm so pleased they stuck together, despite what others thought, felt, said, and/or didn't say... their love was obviously strong (and genuine) enough to endure their 'situation'... SIGH... You must read, if you believe in true love ;)
This is the first read for me from this author but I can assure you it is not the last. This is a very well written story with great storyline and plot. I liked the touch of taboo with stepbrother/-sister love. It is written a bit different that usual for this theme and that is what pulled me to it. The other crusual theme with abuse was so well displayed. Likeable characters that have a great chemistry between them. They are well described and develops nicely through the story. The main characters have a lot of pain which they have to come through but they support each other in a sweet and healing way. The story flows well of the pages and is captivating from start to finish. I had to read it in one setting because it has such a great use of words and an amazing writing style. I like that the story is sexy as well as sweet. It is an emotional roller coaster which brings you through a lot of feelings. Right from laughts to tears and screams.
Erica Marselas is not one who would shy away from difficult topics. For it to be a shy male virgin, brother-in-law, threesome, or even foursome, her stories always tackle them head-on. This is what makes her standout as a storyteller.
"So Wrong So Right" is such a fitting title for this forbidden romance. Colin and Abigail are made to be step-sibilings at their late teens. They are connected not by blood, but by the fallouts from their parents' wrongdoings. No matter how wrong their sexual attraction is to each other, you can't help but feel right for their joint force. When they have to fight the same fights under a roof, it would surely make them protect and love each other as fiercely.
Colin and Abigail's young love may seem impulsive or inmature at first, but Marselas makes the story progress compellingly. You'll feel their love, yell when they struggle, and then grow up with them through this special journey. Marselas's smooth writing will make you flip through pages and forget to stop till the very satisfying ending.
Colin and Abby is the perfect forbidden love story. But the key is their love isn't really forbidden. I loved every part of their shared history and family history they have with each other. Their life was perfect for each other. They were both dealt sh*t hands due to Victor, but it brought them together. I can go on for days and spoilers will be given. This is a book that was perfect, I loved it. I didn't want to put it down and I never wanted it to end. I am so happy for the way it did end and I recommend anyone else to pick this up to read it as well, it will not disappoint! I love anything Erica writes and this is another book she knocked out the park!
Colin and Abby are off the charts hot! I was sold at taboo romance, but what I quickly discovered was that So Wrong So Right, is much more than a dirty read about step-siblings falling in love. It’s so much more than taboo. It’s got heart and depth and emotion. Yes, there’s heat. Marselas can write a love scene like you wouldn’t believe, but the meat of the story is how two people find each other under extreme hardship. Love is the light that drives out the darkness. Victor is inky night cloaking Abby and Collins otherwise bright future.
There are ups. There are downs. There are hot guys speaking French, and of course, there’s happily ever after.

Erica had me at stepbrother and forbidden. If one good thing came from their parents getting married, it’s that Abbs and Colin found each other.
Your heart wants who you’re heart wants and it doesn’t matter if it’s your stepbrother or not. The chemistry between these two is so intense, undeniable and downright sinful. They’re secret glances and dirty words are going to have you rotting for them from the beginning.
Marselas does not make their journey an easy one and the last quarter of the book I was so on edge that it didn’t matter how late it was I needed to finish it.
This emotional read is both beautiful and painful. It is a well written, moving tale of the unexpected and forbidden romance that blossoms between Colin and Abigail. There is so much for these two to overcome on the way to a HEA and honestly, in my opinion the whole stepsibling thing is so very unimportant considering the much larger and dangerous things they face. This book will test your emotions as the sweet and tender is balanced out with the brutal and ugly. Simply a remarkable read. I am posting a frank, freely given review.
Wow. This book has some child abuse, drama, but lots of love. Colin and Abigail are step siblings that fall in love. They will do everything within their powers to be with each other through thick and thin. This book is the most dramatic step sibling novel that I have read and would recommen this book to anyone who loves stepsibling romances.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This is an amazing forbidden love story. I have to say my favorite parts are Colin and Abigails banter back and forth and Abbys inner dialogue. Erica Marselas does an amazing job building these characters throughout the story. I fell in love with Colin and Abigail while absolutely despising Victor Wagner. Their love story is taboo, forbidden and sexy while their surroundings show the heartbreak and hardships while dealing with abuse and a broken home. I can’t wait to see what Erica Marselas does next!
Colin and Abby are the perfect forbidden love couple!!! Taboo relationship. Abby and Colin are step siblings but did not grow up together and have zero biological ties. What they do have is an intense connection! This goes beyond a steamy sexual connection they are emotionally connected together and lean on each other for support. I love this story! Erica did an amazing job with their connection and love!
This was a difficult story of abuse within the home, nd the story of a young couple who fall in love when perhaps it is seen as wrong, although they are not blood related or even grew up together, they can’t help themselves for falling in love with each other, Colin tries so hard to protect Abigail and him himself suffers/suffered the abuse, such a lovely story with a lovely ending 😊 I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This was a good book by Erica Marselas. The subject matter of abuse was in a lot of the book so beware if it is a trigger. It was really handled well throughout the book. I was so happy to see Colin and Abigail get their HEA. This book has a little of everything... steamy, taboo, friends to lovers. It was a good read and I would recommend it.
This was such a good read and is so much more than a taboo stepbrother romance. The storyline was so good you will be pulled in and you will just fall in love with both Abby and Colin they were wonderful characters and the chemistry between them was off the charts. I just hated Victor and my heart went out to both of them the things he did. A really good interesting read
My first read from this author and to say I'm impressed is an understatement. Step siblings romance is taboo but this book is such more and makes for an enjoyable guilty pleasure that I have no guilt over.
Real-feel characters, incredible plot and writing that feels like it came from a diary.
I received an ARC for an honest and voluntarily review.
