Killer Mom: Darlie Routier

Rate this book
On June 6, 1996, Darlie Routier dialed 911 and reported that an intruder had just stabbed her and two of her children, Devon and Damon, who were sleeping on the floor of the main floor family room within just a few feet of their mother. According to Darlie, while she was sleeping, an intruder fatally stabbed her children then proceeded to slash her throat and stab her on the arm. And she slept through it all. Well, that’s her story anyway. And for more than twenty-two years straight she’s been sticking to it.

I believe she killed them

This is not the first book I have read on this case. The court transcripts & 911 call were compelling. What convinced me, was the graveyard party. Bizarre.

Garbage backed up with no proof

Don't waste your time reading this piece of garbage! If I could give it zero stars I would. I don't believe a single word that the so called Basia said Darlie Routier told her at the hospital after the tragic death of 2 angles and the near death of DARLIE. If it had been true she would have been in court testifying, as the INVESTIGATORS would have interviewed her. It's ONLY BEEN 20 year's before she tells this so called author about Darlie's confession at the hospital several hours after the tragedy, before or after Darlie was taken into surgery for her wounds. The only thing I think DARLIE ROUTIER is guilty of is loving a man who wanted her dead to save his own a*s.

Good short book about the Routier case

This book is the first of many short (less than 100 pages) books that cover the author's opinions about the Darlie Routier case. I have also followed this case for more than 20 years and I have read more books about this case.

Biased and out of context.

This is an opinion piece. The author believes Darlie is guilty and backs it up with quotes that are taken out of context. Information that doesn't support her opinion are conveniently left out. It's also a very confusing read.

Not worth the money

I bought this, thinking it would be an in depth examination of the case.
It is more like a bullet point essay.
Far too short.
