Jenna and her friends have escaped from the covert agents who lied to her about what she was and what her new powers really mean.
She’s physically injured and emotionally broken but intends to fight the agency to protect the ethereal, advanced race known as faders. Jenna needs the special abilities of David, a fader she’s never met but who is closely linked with her family’s past. She must return to the military base she’s just escaped from, to rescue David.
Can she escape a second time?
Join Jenna as she goes further than she believed possible and receives help from an unexpected source.
Book two of the Faders series will blow apart what you think you know about faders.
When things get confusing, why not introduce a multi-verse?
That's right. When other intrepid heroes are trapped in a corner, and there's nowhere else to go, David reveals a new gift. Not only can he communicate telepathically (with the whole world, it seems), he can also create portals between worlds.
Full Earth seems like a safe haven. Zoe is hailed as a saviour, and everyone else is given refuge. They even agree to help rescue other trackers who have been captured.
Of course, if things look too good to be true, they usually are.
This isn't a romance, although there are numerous romantic relationships mentioned throughout, so if that's what you're looking for, this might not work for you. It's definitely not the focus of the story. This one, in particular, has more of a found family vibe.
This story is told primarily from first person perspective, although there are chapters, written in the third person, which are from other character's POVs.
I also found more punctuation and grammatical errors in this book, than the first one, so if that's something that bothers you, you might want to steer clear.
Another gripping tale of Faders, Trackers, Agents, Incs, and now new worlds!
Another story of Jenna and her band of friends/family that take on the government and others like themselves, to survive. I was on the edge of my seat for the majority of this book. I had to force myself to put it down a few times to let my heart rest or to sleep or eat. Good thing there are things called alarms or I would have forgotten to actually function. This book picks back up where Fade leaves off. There are so many twists and turns that my head was spinning and my heart was beating out of my chest. I didn't want it to end, but the ending was bittersweet and I may or may not have shed a few tears. After that epilogue, I need the next in this series, like, yesterday! E. G. Bateman really knows how to grip you from the beginning and doesn't let you go, even though the book has ended. I highly recommend this book and that is something I rarely ever do; I am a harsh critic. You won't regret picking this book up!

This book was just full of surprises. I wasn't expecting where this story went and I have to admit that I would never have gone in this direction, but it worked. I definitely enjoyed it and I'm looking forward to the next installment in the series :)
Jenna and her crew are on another great adventure. Meeting new friends and enemies while trying to save each other and the worlds! So many twists, turns and surprises kept me glued to my kindle and I am excited to start the third book of this suspenseful trilogy. If you haven't experienced The Faders, you are missing out. The story is fresh ans unique. I hope you enjoy this series as much as I am!!!

And the plot thickens with new twists. I hope the folks on Broken Earth survives and the Major meets Karma on Half Earth. Waiting for the third installment.
