I'm not sure who I consider the foulest out of Bakari and Javon. Here I just knew Bakari was the better choice for Indira only to realize his situation is the same as hers. Indira was too forgiven and Javon and Siobhan played her in the worst way possible. One secret has been exposed and I can't wait for the rest to come to the light. Tokyo apparently doesn't do any background checks because while she's falling for Adonis he had a hidden motive. I'm not even sure if Bakari can save her from what she got herself into. I like Yasir and if Arjana doesn't get herself together soon she'll find herself lonely for real. Man Kaz should've stayed where she was but at the same time Indira needed to know who she fell for wasn't as squeaky clean. It is something bothering me about Kaz though after remembering the conversation Bakari had with his mom. Things definitely aren't adding up and I can't wait for part 2.

Man this book was really good... I really enjoyed the storyline... This book moved at a nice steady pace and just kept building up with drama... It was hard for me to put this book down... It definitely had me in my feelings a lot... I was mad a lot while reading and yelling at the book like it would change the outcome... Then just when everything was running smooth this storyline really start to build then it just dropped me on my butt with my mouth open saying I knew it... I knew something was wrong with all these men but I did not see all of this happening... Now I am mad because I have to wait for part 2...
I really like Indira but I feel like she really needs to grow a backbone... Like really because the way she let Javon treat and talk to her really made me upset... She was just to easy of a pushover and naive... I could not understand why she just kept putting up with his BS and believing his really stupid lies... See just typing this us making upset all over again... Shebisbout here working her butt off and taking care of them and he is out here being foul... Then he is always giving her this guilt trip and she just keeps falling for it... Javon really knew how to play Indira... But one slip up to many may have just pushed her into the arms of another man... That man being Bakari...
Once Indira and Bakari crossed paths is was if they were destined to be together... All is going well however, Indira keeps trying to remind herself that she is still engaged to Javon... It seemed like the more she tried to remind herself of the the harder it was for her to stay away from Bakari... I really like her and Bakari together... Things are going amazing with them.. And just when it looked like it was to good to be true... Yup you guessed it they were... Now Indira is stuck with a big decision on her hands... What will she do now...
I also cant believe Javin and all his secrets and BS that is not coming out and being exposed... But will Indira find out all this information before it is to late...
Then we have Tokyo.. This girl is a wild one... She is smart and owns her own salon that indira works in... She just has a short fuse when it comes to men hurting her feelings... She does things and thinks there will be no consequences... But one thing she did to Carl almost cost Indira her life and Tokyo her salon... Just when she decided to make a change... In walks trouble... Tokyo feels like God has really sent her the best thing ever... But is that really the case or is she walking into a trapp... we shall see...
Arajana is the sister to Bakari and Tokyo... She is pretty smart and laid back... But she has this back and forth relationship with Bakari's friend Yasir... I think Arajana does not really know what she wants... She keeps pushing him away and he keeps fighting for them... But has Arajana finally pushed him away for the last time... Now what is Arajana going to do...
Man I really cant wait for part 2... This cliffhanger has me needing more... So many things that I need answers to... Please bring part 2 out soon...

Great read
This was a page turner and a lot is left to be answered. Indira's mother is a thot and needs to be dealt with. I hope she catches her with Jovan before she comes clean. He is a loser and she is way too forgiving. Who is the Haitian bombshell that is coming in to claim Bakari? I hood Indira gets answers before she jumps to conclusions. Jovan needs to die he is a loser! And so does Indira's mother. Adonis is playing a dangerous game and he better how he doesn't get caught. Tokyo is going to be so heart broken when she finds him out. Arjana and Yasir are a good couple and I hope she doesn't lose him because she's too blind to see what she had on him. It's gonna hurt her heart if he moves on. I can't wait til the next book drops! You did your thing and it's only gonna get better from here!

What a dope a** read! Loved the storyline....the only part I couldn’t come to terms with was Indira’s and Bakari’s first “encounter “... the where, what and the timing was just unbelievable. Javon...can’t stand the skin on his ..... but he’s such a fake and deceitful man. And what came out at the end..just made me dislike him even more. Indira is too much of a nice person for him to do that to her. She needs to get her savage on! I love Bakari and Indira together...but what’s the story with Kazimir.... can wait to hear more about that. Adonis....what a wolf in sheeps clothing...I knew he was too good to be true. Well fantastic job..can’t wait to see how all this drama unfolds...what is Bakari going to say and do? What will Indira do🤔🤔😳😳😳?

LOVED IT!!!! Miss Js books are well written, with great characters... Bakari thats the man... In all aspects, I dont believe that he would be deceitful to Indira... Indira wait til she finds out she is sister / stepmother to Noah.. Siobahn / Javon RIDICULOUS, there is no coming back from any of that situation. For Tokyo to have business smarts, she sure is people Stupid.. (Knew Adonis was a snake right from the start). Yasir..... Love the religion in him, and how powerful he is, regardless of his business lifestyle. Arjana, is a completely disarmed by the love he has for her, hope she wakes wayyyy up... and she realizes that Yasir is what she needs all the way, and not just for some booty... Looking very forward, for the next installment..

Wow!!
When I tell you that ending was super crazy... the drama has really just begun. Now I knew I didn't like Javon cause he is a user, liar and cheater but he really took the cake but so did Siohban. They both need to beat up for real. Now I love Bakari even though he seems to have baggage as well. I love the way he treat Indira as a priority and a need. She makes her happy and I believe he is the one for her. Now I know Adonis coming out of thin air was going to be a twist but I believe this isn't going to be as easy as he thinks. He messing with the wrong one though. On to read part 2... great job Miss Jenesequa!!!

Oh my word. Indira is the dumbest most naive females I have EVER read about. She’s the reason it was HARD for me to finish this book. Bakari could have done soooo much better. Tokyo is my spirit person. Yasir was more than patient with Arjana. I don’t understand why she was playing with Yasir. Adonis had me fooled. But I did know something was up with him...just not that, wow, smmfh. Javon, Javon I knew it was plenty of things I didn’t like about him...but that took the cake. Not only is Siobhan a crappy parent...she’s a slu# bag also, wow. And I bet she doesn’t even give Bakari a chance to explain, yet she’s willing to take anything Javon gives. #teamBakari

This Book Right Here!!!
I don't like how Indira lets Javon use her and makes a fool out of her to the point that he's sleeping with her mom Siobhan and Noah is his son. Siobhan is a trifling mom to do that to Indira her own daughter who does everything that she can to help Siobhan and Noah. I thought that Bakari was going to be different but now I see he's just like Javon in playing with Indira's heart. Tokyo needs to slow her roll with men because she just got out of a situation with Carl and now she's with Adonis who's trying to avenge Carl's death. Arjana is going to loose Yasir if she doesn't make some changes quick. I can't wait to see what happens next.

MUST READ!!!!
Omg I was not ready for the ending of this book. My mouth is still wide open. Miss Jenn you never ceases to amaze me...you have out done yourself with this book. I think my chest is still hurting...I don’t know if I can take all this drama...I don’t know who I want to be together now...When I say I hate Javon and Siobhan I mean that...I couldn’t believe Indira was being so dumb...she was pissing me off..I highly recommend this book as a must read. It deserves way more than 5 stars...I can’t wait to read part 2...

Great Read
I can't believe the last two chapters...mouth wide open. That ending left me wanting so much more, wasn't ready for it to end. Full of nothing but drama and more drama, with a lot of secrets and lies. Made a interesting and entertaining read. Flowed so smoothly and moved at a steady pace. Now Javon and Siobhan needs whatever karma coming their way. Indira, is being so dumb and naive that it's pissing me off. I'm definitely going to need her to get a backbone in the next installment.....seriously. Highly recommend this book. Amazing job Miss Jenesequa.

Yeah It's Good!.
OMG!! This has been one heck of a ride from the beginning and it is still on the curvy road going a hundred miles.The weaves a web so fine you don't realize you're caught until the end.I love that we are getting some,seem to be perfect characters but they are so imperfect and messy its just crazy.The writer paints an intense sexy story that is riddled with mystery and something sinister.If you have not invested your time ,you are missing out!This is so book club worthy and please chose this story and end the year on an enjoyable experience.

Good read. Hard to understand how Indria could find it hard to choose between History and Passion or even why she's so blind to the fact that Javon is a leech sucking douche. I actually lost interest with the book due to how weak she was for him. But hey, i guess love can make you stupid. Scratch that i KNOW love can make you stupid. Guess that's why i finished the book. We've all been stupid in love before.

Bakari was a mfer. I wish I hadn't read it because now I'm impatiently waiting part 2, lol. Poor Indira, just people doing her sweet self wrong at every turn. She's so gullible that she doesn't see the bad in people. I hope Bakari ain't do all that in this book to end up engaged.

That to be continued get me every time.. I truly enjoyed the storyline for this new series.. Kari and his secret..Tokoyo falls to hard before getting to know these men..Von and Di Mom are two scandalous individuals when will this be revealed.. would definitely recommend this book
