While I had a small problem getting into this story, it was definitely worth getting through those beginning chapters to the end of the story. Antonio, Leila and Karl were definitely a force to be reckoned with and they proved their love for each other even though they thought they would never be placed in a triad together. But, it became impossible to deny just how well they worked together and what kind of benefit they will be to the Master's Admiralty if they are kept together.
Antonio was one broody man. I wasn't sure if he protecting Leila and Karl out of duty or if there was more to it than that. I wasn't sure if he loved his family or despised everything about them. But, in the end, it all became clear.
Even though Leila and Karl met under the most extreme conditions, you knew that, somehow, they would end up together … whether it be from Stockholm Syndrome or respect, the belonged together. Along the way, Antonio became just as important to them as each other and there was no denying that they all belonged together.
Without giving away any of this story, I do have to say that this installment of the Master's Admiralty was one of the most gruesome that I have read. Both Mari and Lila have written wonderful, suspenseful stories throughout both these series but nothing as descriptive as this one. Boy do they have some interesting imaginations. Now, the problem that I had in the beginning of Pleasure's Fury was that it was very “wordy” and this is something that I am not used to with these authors. But, as the story progressed, it became clear why it had to be wordy. We would not have understood what was going through Antonio's mind, why Leila was the way she was and just where Kurt fits in to this menage. And, again, Mari and Lila did it again … they gave us an interesting and tense story jam packed with mystery, love and some really hot sex.

When Antonio rescues Leila and Karl from the torture Six has put them through, he opens the door to a trinity that shouldn't exist, hasn't been pre-arranged. And yet, Leila, Karl and Antonio can't help but fall for each other as they race the clock to find Ciril and even more importantly, the person pulling the strings on the whole operation, the business of killing and torturing people, both part of Masters' Admiralty and not.
I said it before, and I'll say it again because it's true - this series and The Trinity Masters are an exciting hybrid of National Treasure and The Da Vinci Code, with all the action, intrigue and suspense both those movies bring, plus the added bonus of steamy, sexy chemistry. The ongoing mystery of who the villain is, and when the Masters' Admiralty will catch him or her is the driving force behind this story, but the relationship between these three is given equal weight and it's all the better for it. I love the fact that their trinity is not an arranged one, rather, one borne of pure chemistry and feelings, but is just as important and beautiful as all the pre-arranged trinities that have come before them. And I love how their relationship played out. I am now dying for the next installment of this exciting, sexy series!!

Gripping, Intricate, and Sensual Story from the Master’s Admiralty!!
Leila and Karl, members of the Master’s Admiralty, start this story having been captured and are being tortured. Karl know quick and painless is impossible – he would settle for quick and painful; but he is currently dying by inches with no food and no water and tied so tightly to a chair that when he is moved his skin stays behind.. When Leila is brought to his location she is given the opposite; she is under a steady stream of cold water. Leila’s feet become numb and without instructions from Karl she would fall – falling means death.
As you can see this made quite an impact on me…. And them. When Antonio is able to locate and free them (barely) they must hide as it becomes apparent someone within the organization is providing information.
This story encompasses the physical, the cerebral and the heart. And perhaps a nod to Star Trek; “What are you doing? Take her and get out!” “We’re all leaving.” “This is stupid. This is how you fail the Kobayashi Maru.” Antonio ignored the nonsense words and slid the snips under the plastic restraint on Karl’s left wrist and cut it off.
These three become very close – even though they are assured they will never become a trinity: “Leila reached for a gun that wasn’t there. Damn it, she needed a gun. The door slammed open. Antonio stood framed in the doorway, a sword in his hand. He was wearing jeans and a black shirt. His hair was wet, as if he’d just gotten out of the shower. One lock fell over his eye, and he looked like a dark avenging angel.”
These are amazing stories – and each one just gets better and better!!

By far, the BEST book this dynamic duo has written to date!
I was captivated from the first page to the last. Pleasure’s Fury is one of those stories that make your heart beat a little faster because you’re so wrapped up in it. I found myself excited to see past characters (❤️Eric) and new characters alike. Antonio, Leila and Karl made me laugh, cry and cuss throughout their heart pounding journey to find a killer.

Where do I begin?! An absolutely FABULOUS read!!! Somewhere in the middle of the book it came to my mind that this is like Harry Potter for ADULTS!!! An old secret society with hierarchy of leaders (some very impressive and dangerous), a large strong membership with impressive talents and credentials, and they are all trying to find and defend themselves against a hidden enemy! All this while incorporating personal histories, sexual attraction, lust, ménage/marriage, and finally LOVE (for the ADULT in you)! The plot is elaborate (I would strongly suggest reading the previous books). The characters are strong and complex. The atmosphere is sometimes urgent/mysterious, sometimes sexually charged and sometimes even light and funny. In “Pleasure’s Fury” we find an unlikely trinity: they are from three different corners of the continent, one is a university professor, the other a sniper, and the third is the heir to his domain… They were never supposed to be brought together, they just happened to be individually put in this situation by a madman, but the attraction and the love that builds among them is undeniable. In the end, the big question is… will their “superiors” let them become a trinity, forever? It seems like it won’t be possible… Riveting read!! Couldn’t put it down!! Loved it!! Bravo Mari and Lila!!

WOW, oh wow!
Lila Dubois and Mari Carr have blown it out of the water with Karl, Leila and Antonio's story. This book is AMAZING. It is everything they promised it would be and so much more.
It is fast paced, emotionally charged, filled with suspense and full of sexiness that once I started,
it didn't take me long to realise I was going to be in for another late night of non-stop reading! I can't write too much about the story as you REALLY want to read it yourself to find out what happens but, let's just say this one had me engrossed and fully immersed in every last detail these brilliantly talented authors have created. I rode the highs and the lows with all the characters and felt like every word hit me with such emotion, I was torn in a million different directions at once. I was left shattered and euphoric at the same time, a heady experience created by a talented duo that have put their hearts and souls into this one, and it clearly shows!
This really is a stunning piece of work and from the set up's Mari and Lila have made, I can only hope as the series grows, the tales they wrap us up in will continue to get better and better. My only complaint is that I now have to wait to see what happens next......dam edge of your seat authors who hook you in and keep you wanting more!

I am amazed that Mari Carr and Lila DuBois can keep this series fresh, exciting, and still suspenseful!! Antonio, Karl, and Leila are well written, compelling characters, their chemistry is palatable. just when you think you might have some things figured out, the authors throw you a curve ball. If you are looking for a menage series, with real suspense, and great steam, this is it!!!! Outstanding addition to the series

Deep, dark, twisted and very dirty!
Everything you can ask for in a book, it has more of everything!
It is deeper, delving far deeper into their histories, making them question everything they thought they knew and everyone. Darker, far more depraved than any of them can imagine, creating everyone's worst nightmares. And twisted beyond imagination....well, maybe not the imagination of a mad man!
Antonio, Leila and Karl live through hell, but they survive and realise they are each stronger than any of them believe, the bond they forge as they escape makes them strong together but they must fight for every moment together as everyone is trying to rip them apart: Domino, Six, Antonio's father, the Fleet Admiral, Antonio's Trinity, even if they manage to survive and defeat Six will there be a future for them together? Or are they destined to be ripped apart? Will they survive being put in separate Trinities?
Add into all this drama and intrigue lots and lots of steamy sex and dirty talk and you have the best book of the two series so far – I loved it!

Another great addition to the Masters' Admirilty series by Mari Carr.
The search for the "Domino" continues as a new trio face the "apprentice." The trouble here is that two members of the Masters' Admiralty have been captured and tortured; then rescued by a third. While this trio makes progress and develop feelings for one another, this is not a sanctioned triad... the question is, will the Fleet Admiral see their strength as a unit? or sentence them to lives spent apart? Ms. Carr has continued to delve into the mythology, history, origins, and purpose for the Masters' Admiralty and perhaps the drive and identity of their greatest enemy. I enjoyed this book greatly, there was intense drama, torture, hot sex, and dry wit and humor in the face of grave danger.

WOW WOW WOW What did I just read! I felt like this could have been a top grossing film. Right from the start with Karl and Leila's kidnapping. I could not stop reading this story. Of course the ladies give you a freaking HOT story (got love the premise of the Trinity). But the story line was amazing. I don't want to give away anything but there were so many moments...when Antonio finds them, to the night they are together and Antonio has a "first"...such a good scene..don't want to ruin anything. And that scene with his father when he cries after he leaves!!! I cried! Sadly I haven't read all the books but you don't feel lost but I'm sure that it would make them much sweeter. I love the way you describe Karl!!! The 3 of them are much stronger together than apart. This is a must re-read for me! Thank you for giving me the opportunity to read an ARC for an honest, voluntary review. I really want to say more but I hate giving spoilers! YOU MUST READ THIS BOOK! (Wish I could better describe how much I loved this book and how exciting it was as a read)

Whatever you are doing drop it, pick up this book and read it cover to cover. I couldn't put it down. With characters that I can see coming to life in front of me, to suspense and murder that has you second guessing every thing, to sex that leaves you fanning yourself, this book has it all and so much more.
(you can read this book by itself, it holds up as a stand alone but you will get so much more enjoyment out of it if you've read the Trinity Masters and the first two books in the Master's Admiralty)

When these two authors write together the story explodes off of the page. Antonio, Karl, and Leila are so richly brought to life I feel like I know them. And when you combine two security experts, one an expert at investigation and one an expert sniper, and a professor, also member of a secret think tank, you get a trio that will not stop until they catch their guy. This story brings out the total gambit of emotions from total heartbreak, to tears of joy, to nail biting worry and sensual desire. Hang on to you hats this is one wild ride!

Book three in the Masters’ Admiralty but can be read and enjoyed as stand-alone. Has secondary characters from previous books in the series, but easy to follow along and back story and history is given. This is romantic suspense! There is a serial killer on the loose! Leila, Karl and Antonio all belong to a secret society but have never met before Antonio rescues them. They spend a lot of time together and we see feelings and a relationship develop. This story takes its time with details and backgrounds on the characters, we really get to know, love and care about them. Full length story that I could not put down until I had finished. I loved this book!

The world that these two authors have created is one of suspense and intrigue and completely amazing. Their minds have created the Trinity Masters, then the Master's Admiralty and with each book the story is complex and fluid, keeping you surprised with every turn of the page. Pleasure's Fury is the story of Antonio, Leila, and Karl, and how they formed their trinity while searching for the man responsible for kidnappings and murder. This is one suspense series that keeps getting better and better.

Pleasure’s Fury is book three of the Masters’ Admiralty series. Each book can be enjoyed as a standalone read. Wow, and what a journey this was. While reading I was simply blown away. The authors' writing style is so vivid and descriptive that I forgot everything around me while reading. I was not able to put the book down which resulted of a night spent reading instead of sleeping. I love, love, loved this book!

I was literally blown away, mesmerized, enthralled, transfixed....pick an adjective, that's how I felt while reading Pleasure's Fury. This book is brutally intense with complex, multilayered characters that are dynamic, intelligent, resilient and provocative.The action is fast paced and explosive. Danger and treachery surround Antonio Starabba, Leila Virtanan and Karl Klimek as they are caught up in a twisted plot for unknown reasons. Their lives forever changed and intertwined. Mari Carr and Lila Dubois masterfully throw curveballs just about the time you think you've got things figured out

Pleasure’s Fury was fast paced with many moving parts. When I thought I had it figured out, it changed and started in a new direction. I was kept wondering which trinity would form and if not how would the book end. Nyx and Grigorio’s “Friendship” is difficult to figure out. I hope they get their own story soon. I am glad that Antonio and his father came to an understanding. I think the next book I read I will need to keep a log of people, jobs, clues to help me keep everyone straight.

This is one of the best books in this series. The characters are so believable you are able to feel their triumphs and tragedies as if they are part of your family . My only complaint is that the trinity is separated at the end and now I have to wait to see what happens!

OMG!!!
You never know what Mari & Lila are going to come up with. The twists and turns are awesome. I was on "the seat of my pants" numerous times. Antonio, Karl and Leila are SMOKIN HOT. Their chemistry is off the charts. How long do I have to wait for the next book??? Hopefully not long!!!

Yet Another Scorching Addition to the Admiralty Series
Hot and steamy!
Antonio, Karl and Leila have bonded together in very tight bond after escaping a madman. Karl and Leila are taken hostage by someone who is best described as a sociopath and a madman. Antonio as a guardsmen for the Admiralty has sworn to protect all members. And when he is following a lead on a case, Antonio manages to find and rescue Leila and Karl from the madman.
What follows is a very emotionally charged book. There are some scenes that will make you squirm due to the uncomfortable nature of the topic of what happens when a sociopath is involved. But these scenes are needed and are a vital component of the storyline. Along with the squirmy parts, there are scenes of romance and great sex. And each of the characters is not a one dimensional character but very well rounded complex characters.
This is a longer read than the previous books in this series. And well worth it. I love the work of these two talented authors. And I seriously blame them both for a number of sleepless nights because I couldn’t put the book down. So if you are feeling tired after reading this book, blame Lila DuBois and Mari Carr.

Ok, I’m certain now. Lila and Mari are trying to kill me. Wow!
I love, love, love Pleasure’s Fury! So many breadcrumbs to follow. So many mysteries to be solved. Three special characters to adore.
I was so excited that Antonio was getting his own book, but I was delighted with Karl and Leila, as well. I think Antonio, Karl and Leila are three of the strongest characters in the Trinity Masters and Masters Admiralty, to date.
I love the TM/MA series so much, and Lila and Mari have captivated me again - I was on the edge of my seat! I think the books get better and better as they go on! The twists and turns in this book fed my need for a good mystery. I found myself gasping out loud at several developments. It was thrilling to see some old friends, and I am eagerly anticipating seeing some old friends in the next book, also.
The storyline was fascinating and mysterious. I was kept guessing throughout the book. The scenes between Antonio, Karl and Leila were hot and funny and emotional. As a matter of fact, I found my heart breaking at certain events.
This book has everything: love, romance, angst, laughter, pain, tears, and danger on the way to a HEA.
(I would recommend not reading this story as a stand-alone. There is too much backstory.)
I cannot wait for the next book in the series!!!
I love, love, love Pleasure’s Fury! So many breadcrumbs to follow. So many mysteries to be solved. Three special characters to adore.
I was so excited that Antonio was getting his own book, but I was delighted with Karl and Leila, as well. I think Antonio, Karl and Leila are three of the strongest characters in the Trinity Masters and Masters Admiralty, to date.
I love the TM/MA series so much, and Lila and Mari have captivated me again - I was on the edge of my seat! I think the books get better and better as they go on! The twists and turns in this book fed my need for a good mystery. I found myself gasping out loud at several developments. It was thrilling to see some old friends, and I am eagerly anticipating seeing some old friends in the next book, also.

This is the third installment of the Masters' Admiralty series. This book picks up where the last book left off with Karl missing and Antonio searching for clues as to who committed the murders of a trinity in Rome. We are introduced to Leila who is pretty badass in her own right. Bonded by horrors they have faced Antonio, Leila & Karl work together to uncover who is responsible for the kidnapping and torture of Karl & Leila as well as the numerous attack on their society. The chemistry between these three was instant and very raw. The undeniable love for each other when faced with so many adversities was very intense and emotional at times. The authors did an excellent job of keeping you guessing and connecting the dots left in previous books. There so many moving parts that span many countries and territories that there is never a dull moment. As I stated in my last review this series is always evolving and you are giving constant tidbits/information to use to solve the mystery in future books. I loved the glimpse into possible trinities in future books. I highly recommend this book and series.

Action, intrigue, and some really hot chemistry make this a must read. Karl, Leila and Antonio are put together by fate or a mad man if you will. Karl is kidnapped and Leila is taken with a fight by one they call Six. Six speaks about a third and how he can't kill them until he has that person. He also keeps taken credit for murders that happened recently in Antonio's family land. Which is why Antonio happens to be in the right place at the right time. He unfortunately has to let Six go in order to save Karl and Leila. The three of them embark on a wirwind trek across Europe to capture Six. They become close as they recover from their trama. But the secret society they belong to will not let them choose to be together. Their trinity has to be arranged by their Admiral. And since they are all from varying territories, it seems hopeless. They just have to enjoy themselves and take comfort in each other while they can. I held my breath through most of this book. I didn't expect where this would go.

Just when you think a series cannot get any better, Pleasure’s Fury steps up to the plate and knocks it out of the park!
I so enjoyed the romance that bloomed between Antonio, Leila and Karl after Antonio somehow figures out where Leila and Karl have been kept when kidnapped and tortured. That while trying to then capture the killer, their friendship developed into so much more. Something so amazing and wonderful that came from such a horrible, horrifying situation.
I loved how they learned to trust each other. To lean on each other when needed. And to love. Really love! Sure, they still have their issues—their secrets—but wow, these “organically grown” triads are just so much fun to see how they all connect.
I’m super excited for the next book in the series—appears to be a bit of a cross over into the Trinity Masters and I cannot wait! ~ Missy, 5 stars
