A Fantastic Thrill Ride
This series has been going on for so long I keep thinking the story has got to be wearing out by now. Man I'm so glad I'm wrong every time. The characters are so deeply onset into my brain that I feel an actual connection and concern for their welfare. Dirk Patton, in my opinion, has taken over as one of the top 3 writers of all time. I get so engrossed in this Voodoo tale that before I know it I've read the entire book. The cliffhanger in this one takes my breath away. Please don't make me wait too long to see what happens. Thanks for the great evolution and entire construction of this story from beginning to now Book 18.

Exciting from beginning to end!
Excellent read. Pretty well written and plenty of action and tension. Just hate being left hanging. One other thing... You kill Dog; you loose a reader. Turbo pulled that on me a couple years ago and I haven't picked up anything of his since.

This book and series is at the top of its game.
This is an excellent series, it is fast-paced enjoyable with plenty of action. You really get to enjoy and like the characters especially Martinez, glad she’s back. Colonel Chase has good crew around him, please keep it that way. If you haven’t read this series I urge you to start from the beginning, it will keep you on the edge of your seat. I am eagerly awaiting the next book.

Again wow!
Dirk Patton is by far my favorite dystopian/apocalyptic author. After so many books the story keeps developing into so much more than I ever could have guessed. Twists, turns and heart breaking cliffhangers. This series has it all. Start with book 1! You won’t regret it.

Good God no! How dare you leave us with a cliffhanger of such ridiculously epic proportions!! Wow! That was one of the best of this series, top 3 for sure. That TRAITOR SOB!!! I really, really hope you have the next one close at hand because now I won't be able to stop thinking about it.

Is this the end of Dog...again?
Another great installment of Dirk's V Plague series. I feel this book moved the story line along at a pace that I felt was lacking in the last book...My interest never waned and now, of course, I am once again anxiously awaiting the go round...all I can say is this is a must read! I'm just hoping Dirk doesn't kill Dog for real this time.

Do not kill dog! He's one of my favorites. The book was exciting and fast paced. Although there are times when I hate your cliff hangers. This is one of them. Hurry up and write book 19.

Wow still great even after 18 books still can't wait for the next one to come out !!! Love the story line a the people in the series and what new ideas Dirk comes up with. Only sad thing is witing for the next book!!!!

18 is just as good as #1

Is there a pro smoking agenda here? How many times do you need to tell us he lit up again? It got so distracting from the story. Story, smoke, story, smoke, smoke, smoke. Enjoyed the previous books, but this one was not up to par.

Love this series about zombies, war, dirty rotten Russian autocrats, soldiers, sailors and Marines. Terrific epic storyline continues thru 19 books. I highly recommend these volumes. A different take on zombies and a love story make for an incredibly entertaining series!

The thing I dislike about this series! Why are the Russians always three step ahead of the America’s. Not saying it should be easy, but it makes the past few books a hard read. Anyhow, let’s see what Victoria has in mind.
