At the dawn of the Calamity, three separated lives intertwine.
Clara Blackwell’s magical training has drawn to a close. Haunted by the impending apocalypse, danger surrounds her at every turn. But mysteries deep within her dreams will finally come to light—and if she's lucky enough, she just might find a way to bring a new salvation to the vampire world.
Defeated but determined, Nikki Craven faces the impossible. As her quest fails and a bloodcurdling nemesis returns, she must convince the vampire lords of what she’s seen—by crossing the most treacherous mountains of her world, filled with incomparable darkness and flames.
Meanwhile, a boy with a stolen destiny is drawn back into the fold. As a rift activates, Peter Tatham must rush across the world and defy those who would control him. A terrible choice must be made. And on a dark, fateful night, the forgotten boy’s life is about to change—forever.
The pieces are set. The stalemate is breaking. And the ultimate threat finally awakens...
The book is beyond words, to be frank I’ve always favored a niki and peter relationship. But how the events folded-out was total unexpected. Having said that it was a shame niki did not discover who her father rely was and assume her rightful place as his successor but who know what the book 📖 has in store for us. One can always hope....
Emma Glass' *The Witch's Sorrow* is a gripping tale that expertly weaves together action and suspense. From the very first page, the intense atmosphere pulls you in, making it hard to put down. The characters are well-developed, each facing their trials that keep the reader on edge. Glass masterfully balances moments of tension with rich, immersive storytelling. The pacing is spot-on, ensuring that the story never lags and continually propels the reader forward. If you're looking for a riveting read filled with unexpected twists, this book is definitely worth your time!
I was so sure that Peter would make it to stronghold!!! It's obvious that he has to be there for calamity but how is he going to get there now?! This series would make the perfect movie...like Harry potter or Lord of the rings. It can be a bigger series than Game of Thrones!!!!! Great job!!! Impatiently waiting for what's next!
Audio Book Review 📚🎧 I gave this 2 ⭐️ and heres why * i skipped several chapters due over explaining * horrible story line ending for a self sacrificing character * The FMLC continues to have to portray innocents at 21 yrs old
* Niki’s story deserved way better since she’s a main reason many readers continued the books
This book...book 9 of this series is as awesome as the other 8 and so,so addictive!! Anyone who likes vampire books I strongly urge you to read this series,I promise you will be as wrapped up in these characters and their world as I am !
Absolutely thrilling reading! Great plot full of action, emotions and twists and turns. The Calamity is coming. Can't wait for the next story I'm sure it will be even better than this one was
This book is one of my favorite of the series. I hate that Lord Blackburn is gone and am impatiently waiting for the next book in the series. Nikki has always been my favorite character and I’m heartbroken for her!
My only compliant , the books do not come out fast enough. Other than that , I love how different and twisted these books are, please keep them coming faster :)
The shifts in POV are really jarring at this point. I will say the connection between Nikki and Peter is the best relationship development in the whole series. I really have nothing else to say except I’m glad to be starting the last book.
This was a long one. And I'm heartbreaking Ken for Peter...for Nikki...for Mattias. Why man, why!?!?!? But I think destiny has plans. let's find out, shall we.
This one was easier to enjoy. Clara is less annoying, and something is actually happening. I'm eager to finish the series because it's not very enjoyable overall and I'm so bored.
