Chaos is creeping in on Lacklan’s life like an infection into an open wound. And that chaos all seems to come from one place, Omega: Omega the ruthless, shadowy government within a government, Omega that he had sworn to destroy, Omega whose leaders he had sworn to kill, in order to protect his family, his wife and her children.
But it seems that however many members of Omega he kills, more keep swarming up, like rats out of a sewer. And now it looks like even the ones he’s killed are coming back. Chaos is turning into a nightmare.
After ten years in the British SAS, there is one thing Lacklan has learned well: if somebody brings chaos to your world, then you unleash unholy hell on theirs. So now Lacklan is on the hunt, and that hunt will take him halfway across the world, to Brussels, Paris, Madrid and the remote mountains of Cadiz to find his quarry. And when he finds them, they will learn all about chaos, and unholy hell…

Lacklan Walker though he'd trashed Omega, the elitist group of mega-rich who want to "save" humanity by killing off most of it. But the kill team sent to dispatch his family told him he'd overstated his impact. In "Kill:Two," the ninth in Blake Banner's action series, (Yikes, did I really read nine of these novels?) Walker goes after the European component of Omega. As usual, he has very little intelligence on the group other than a list of high-ranking members. But he enlists the aid of a capable partner who doesn't talk much or ask questions. Good thing if you're Walker and happen to kill people who disagree with your methods. Make that bad people. Walker has a soft spot for the common man, or woman. But Banner makes the target of Walker's ire one of the most powerful people in the European Union. The plan is to take out the organization but to do that Walker needs inside assistance. A kidnapping is planned. Nothing would appear possible for just one guy and a helper. But Banner makes it work. He also outlines his theory on the impact of humanity on a planet that's not getting any better at supporting billions of people chopping away at its resources. And that's fascinating all by itself. Add in the vast conspiracy and network of arrogant rich schmucks and it's another masterpiece in a series that keeps me reading.
Amazing story. I enjoyed reading this book tonight. I believe that we live our lives for today. In this story the main character is once again trying to do damage control. He has made up his mind to take all of the really bad guys out of the picture. In the meantime his family is under attack as well. His family leaves him. He visits a friend to inform her of his plans. While trying to accomplish his goal he is attacked. He learns that the friend he trusted has betrayed him. Man, he decides, just can't be trusted!
Lacklan is undertaking a perilous journey. To cripple Omega in Europe. He has already severely damaged their North American operation. He intends to hit them where he can inflict the most damage. Financial resources. Along the way he incurs betrayal, but also the help of two friends he has complete faith in. This is a non stop action thriller. Enjoyed immensely!
If you have not read the Omega Series you have a definite treat ahead of you. I happened to read them in order but only because I was buying the stories as they came out. These books are awesome to say the least. They are fast passed and a real. Page turner. The whole series is this way. GMR
A BB Mystery Novel About the Omega Series (9)Computer Wildfire
BB has penned the 9th novel in the Omega Series, in which, our intrepid hero, with friends, sets out to start a Wildfire, virus, in the computer systems of Europe to destroy the European Force of Omega. This is an excellent read for the genre.....DEHS
I love Lachlan Walker as I'm always amazed at the twists and turns in his story. The ending had me blown away and I can't wait for what happens next. This series is never dull or dry. It always catches you off guard and gives you much food for thought. I can't wait to dive into the next installment. AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!
Very, very good, as always. Exciting story with lots of twists and turns. Marni was disappointing, to say the least. Lacklan's partner was indeed an asset in this latest venture. Anxious to see what the next plan of attack against Omega will be but looks like a vacation of sorts is next on the list. There will be trouble there, of course.
An exceptional author, has now brought the story full circle. This book ties up loose ends and leaves an opening for further exploits, regarding Lacklan and his quest. I have thoroughly enjoyed this series thus far and look forward to more in the future.
An intense drama about a man trying to bring down the Omega group a complex group of people who are rich and powerful who feel they are above the law. One man is trying to bring the whole organization down.
This was a wonderful and compelling story full of action and good plotting. There was also an ethical ambiguity within a great ethical framework that added to my enjoyment.
The story continues. This was the ninth book in the Omega series. Again I am totally captivated. There are lots of twists and turns. I will now start the next book, Unleashed. Another well deserved 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Lack land is at his best here and its because he has no choice because Omega Europe has attacked him and his family in the USA. He has to go after them and to do that he must find and destroy there master computer. Action suspense drama it has it all.
The series is getting interesting. I especially like the way the different places are described. Very detailed Especially the areas in Europe. You can almost picture being there. lack land is still very violent but it is Less violence and more planning and motivation.
Will this chapter that Lacklan experienced be the end of Omega? The gun shot to the leg and the torture was tough on Lacklan. But the computers are down inEurope and Omega got a hit. Once again,Blake Banner provides entertaining reading.
Definitely a tale of the fight against omega and the continued mayhem visited upon the world by Walker. Not much of a mystery in this telling as the course was laid out and followed to its expected conclusion.
I guess I saw a few of the things happening in the story. I still love the way it's put together and kept no ing and throwing a curve ball now and then. I can't wait to read the rest of the series.
Plenty of Action. Different in some ways from the previous. Still plenty of page turning action and suspense. Another great book in the Lackland series.
