Before the apocalypse, Daniel was just your average, run-of-the-mill serial killer.
Daniel is learning that being a serial killer is hard work. Luckily, he has one friend in life that is just like him, but far more experienced. Greg is more than happy to teach Daniel everything he knows about killing and not getting caught. But when a mysterious woman shows up, she takes Daniel on a reckless ride of passion and killing, making him question everything Greg has taught him.
Drew Strickland is an Amazon #1 bestselling author of the Sheriff Elven Hallie Mysteries along with other twisted crime and psychological thrillers.
He resides in Arizona with his wife and kids. When he’s not writing, he can be found reading, exploring new cities, spending time with his family, and of course, cuddling with his many cats (for real, cats just love him and he loves them).
This prequel to the Soulless Wanderers series provides a very good background story for Daniel/Danny the serial Killer. Additionally, it provides insight into his mentor relationship with Greg a more experienced serial killer and the bunker that serves a refuge for Daniel/Danny. There is a third key character Libby, however why she is key, and what she is about would spoil the story, so subscribe to Drew Strickland’s email list and read this story for yourself.
I loved the book it starts off pretty fast paced and when the mystery woman shows up it really gets twisted . I can,t wait to read the next book in the series. I rated it 5 stars think this series is going to sell well
WOW. THIS BOOK IS AMAZING AND HAS A TWIST NEVER SEEN BEFORE. I AM ABSOLUTELY HOOKED AND WILL BE READING ALL FROM THIS AUTHOR. IF YOU LOVE HORROR/SCI-FI THIS IS A MUST READ FOR YOU AS YOU CAN BET YOU DON'T SEE THIS TWIST COMING AT YOU!
A good start to this series! Grabbed me from the start & had me up reading late! Liked it! Can't help wondering where this story will go! Looking forward to more by this writer!
I really enjoyed the book. It was great from beginning to end. You are a great author i will be reading more of your books in the future keep up the good work.
Pretty good but not my cup of tea. Not into Apocalypse stuff even if this occurred just before. Didn't like the protagonist, if you could call him that. Well written though.
Wow that was short. It was interesting and horrifying that there are so many people like that and that they found each other. It was a good short story.
