Things can’t get much worse. Kevin’s in the hospital. Wade’s on the run. And Coach Davis is pissed.

It was bad enough when the Coach thought that his rival was Mr. Pendergrass, the English teacher. But Kevin? Scrawny, geeky, Kevin? Wade was holding out for him?

Coach Davis is going to destroy Kevin. And then he’s gonna bring Wade’s ass back in line. Even if the golden boy jock can’t play football anymore, there are other ways that he can earn his keep. And Coach Davis still has all those videos…

But the Coach had better be careful. Because clever little Kevin has finally got something worth fighting for. And this time, he’s not fighting alone.

Wade, Danny, Brody, Logan. They’re all gonna have to pick sides. Decide what they’re willing to sacrifice. And what kind of men they’re gonna be.

Hell, even Katrina and Brittany are discovering that they have something in common. And if fat girls and cheerleaders can team up, then anything is possible.

It’s the final fight— for all of them. And the loser is going down.

Hard.

It all comes down to friendship and trust.

Who can top the crazy events of Texas HS football? It is a war that incites the local community to support and the neighboring communities and counties to do everything possible to disrupt the competition. Winning is not an option. It is a life requirement. Nothing is allowed to interfere with the team's success and training. Injuries are ignored. Off field efforts to psych out the opposition or scare them into failure is common. Families are split. Studies and grades are ignored. Drug use is common. Alcohol is also used for bribes. Sex is the biggest source of harassment and no basis in truth is required. The stresses are overwhelming and never ending. It drives players and students to madness and revenge.

The coach finally looses to Kevin, who brings the team together again. But can the injuries and hatred be overcome? Will internet support stop the harassment? Can Wade overcome the stigmas to win and make it to college? Will Kevin be able to go to the same school? Who will win the real championship of survival in a cruel world? Things may not be as it seems.

This series was the most satisfying reads I’ve had in a long time. All the intensity and intimidation, all the force and fear, all the curiosity and awakenings. So much happened in every episode but all I wanted to do was get to the next book to see where it all led. I LOVED every character even the villain. It was such gripping story.

I hated the humiliation that the Wade character went through at the hands of the villain. I do have to say I don’t think anyone in real life would have handled everything he did with such child like forgiveness. That ability to let it all go with nary a dent to his personality/ego, was beautiful but unrealistic. So much was tapped into in each character and each plot line and how it all worked itself out together was so good.

My complaints are that this was a serial. I hate having to purchase multiple “books” to get the complete story. It’s such a money grab that I HATE it!! It ended rather abruptly. I wasn’t done getting the HEA I felt that they ALL deserved. There is a huge amount of noncon that the author somehow makes the reader believe can be gray if a person wasn’t sure about it because the characters were still able to enjoy “it” anyway, that will make people uncomfortable. So I advise a big glaring trigger warning to all. I had no problems with it as it was a completed story and I was able to get some, if not great, satisfaction from the villains punishment. He did not hurt enough in my opinion though.

My biggest complaint is Wade had very few POV’s. Why have more POV’s for a secondary character like Danny but not a primary character like Wade?? I was entirely invested in this book because of the relationship between Wade and Kevin. EVERYONE else was just filler. I really wanted more of this story, these characters, this world that the author created, but I needed a POV’s for Wade to feel like this story was completed.

Lastly, my complaint is where are more books like this?!? I have not found much along these lines and I am still waiting for the author to finish up his other series “jocks for sale”. That series is a thousand times more abusive/horror and while I am hooked on it I don’t condone the material as much as this book. I want more from this author and books like this. Enjoy and send me all your recommendations if you have any.

Hot, sexy, funny, intriguing, and just lots of fun to read. But nearing the end an issue popped up. Something that made me mad I couldn't read the rest of the book happy. So after the whole crap Wade and Kevin went through individually, they FINALLY got together. But then Kev left Wade with Wade's ex so she could babysit him and they just went and fucked. That left a distasteful feeling. I mean, Wade literally cried and threw his state championship opportunity away just to be with Kev, and then he just up and had sex with his ex like that? That was disappointing to read. This would've been perfect without the ladies and hetero-sex parts thrown in, I didn't have that much of an issue with the bisexual threesomes because I figured Wade didn't have much of a choice, and he and Kev were not together. Wish the author didn't put the Britney bomb in there I mean that was just...I mean was happy reading books 1 to 11 and even the first half of 12 but then the Britney bomb left me feeling disappointed, couldn't even enjoy the rest of the book.

Giving this a 4 stars because it still is a good read apart from what I just described.

Oh and also I didn't like how Wade is being described as gay. The dude likes having pussy. He's bisexual.

LOVED this series, this author is now an instant click. I don't care what he writes, he could write a laundry list and I'll be asking, how much, sir?

This series took a lot of turns that would have tripped up a less skillful writer: it starts as dark BDSM erotica and ends with scenes that'd feel at home in a YA romance. The twists and turns can feel disconcerting at times with Kevin starting as a vengeance dom vigilante and progressing from there, but I still couldn't put the series down: I was missing meals, blowing off messages, and staying up late to finish.

Loved the series

I really loved Wade and most of the other characters in this series. I have this book four stars because honestly, I'm glad it's finished. I think some parts should have had more details and the coach for off too easy, but overall it was a pretty good ride. About $32.89 for 379 paid for pages is excessive, but that's what I paid for the equivalent of a novel stretched out over not one, but several years. Of course, the first 14 page installment was free, so more like 393 pages total.

Do I believe the storyline is worth 32 dollars? No, but I was and still am, crushing on the slightly slow, but sexy gay jock so I don't mind that I spent the money.

This author has started a new and much darker series. Three installments in, I'm realizing one, I'm not as invested in these characters, and two, I'm unwilling to shell out another 30+ dollars over the span of years, to get to the conclusion of this new series which will probably also be about 400 pages. Happy reading! ☺

so…it’s probably an overused saying but…damn this series was a rollercoaster. the first 3 books were like…fine i guess and then the whole shit with the coach…honestly just made me feel uncomfortable. not like dark or forbidden or hot or anything. but whatever. hooray for happy endings, so this particular book was fine

and in the end, i really liked brody and danny and logan and whatever. i’m just left wondering if danny and logan or maybe danny and the english teacher guy get together or…like how does their future look? wish we could have gotten some insight on that in a book that’s perhaps more…contemporary?

Awesome book!

A terrific end to the series! Josh creates well developed characters with struggles and mind sets that most people can relate to. He also makes each book very steamy. I recommend this series to fans of erotic novels with great story lines

Loved the ending

When I first started reading this series I was trustees with it being broken up into such short segments but this last installment made it all worth it. I do still hope that maybe on day the author puts it all in one book.

I am ready for the next series if they are all going to be this great.

Perfect for being to a page turner series!

I couldn’t stop reading this series, have to go back and leave all my reviews for each book, but let me just say that this ending was awesome! I was so happy to see that dirtbag coach get his and Kevin and Wade actually get a happy ending.

The last was the best.

I’ve read all 12 and some I didn’t like at all but most I liked and this #12 book was the best of all of them. All the stories came together and it was really nice to see it through.

Mix of emotions

I've listened to the first set on audible then read the rest. Absolutely amazing reads sending my emotions all over the place. Did not end the way I thought it would but glad it did

I loved the wrap up to this story. The people that I wanted to see suffer, suffer hard and I was eating it up. The only thing keeping this one from 5 stars is the ending was a bit abrupt. I just want more from these characters.

Fabulous!

My DH is still questioning the silly smile on my face! The Coach got just what he deserved and the team got a lesson in getting along with others. I loved every minute of it!

Aww

From start to finish it was a rollercoaster. Sexy, dramatic and heartwarming all at once. The Coach getting his just desserts was the pinnacle for me!

Good ending

I would still like to read how the rest of the year went, where people went to college, how thins turned out for everyone, if that evil coach got what he deserved, etc.

This is my overall review of the book series. I really enjoyed it, and my favorite scene was the one between Danny and the teacher (their first time), which I think was the most steamy part of the book. The only thing I would adjust is the ending, as it felt a bit hurried.
