"The greatest wave I'll ever catch is the lifetime of adventure I get simply by being with you. In every way." ~Fox Monkhouse
Experience a special series of flashbacks (and more!) through Fox's eyes as he and his "Lollipop" head to the altar with a boob-hogging baby Henry—and the rest of the Bodhi Beach crew—in tow.
SM Lumetta takes us back to Fox & Lollipop’s (Sophie) story in this Bondi Beach novella.
I’d forgotten what a clueless numpty Fox could be at times and how funny he and Lolls are together. But Lollipop isn’t all laughs. The story explores Fox’s point of view on becoming Sophie’s baby daddy, to his realising she’s the love of his life and beyond.
There’s a little of the angst that we read in Fox but Lollipop takes us beyond the end of that book to a short time in their future. The whole bondi gang are invited along for the ride.
SM Lumetta has a knack for telling stories with such an easy flow. Lollipop is effortless reading. Like a breath of fresh air.
Lollipop is fun and sexy. It’s sweet as anything and you’ll remember all the reasons you fell in love with Fox and his Lollipop in the first place.
Fox and Lollipop darn tied the knot. Finally. For me, the best part about this novella is that its from Fox's perspective. Dude is flipping hilarious. I adore this guy and he aint even real! I laughed so hard I freaking cried! And then I did some more happy crying. Best midnight quickie ever.... I'm sorry. I'm tired so I have to check. Dis you see what I did there? Sophie jokes.
So I read the first 2 books in this series years ago when they were first released.. ive no idea why I waited so long to read this book but I can say I loved being back at Beachside with Fox, Lollipop and the gang! This time told from Fox POV we get the story from start of the friendship right until the big wedding day happens! Would highly recommend this series for all the laughs and the unique storyline.
Lollipop is a fun and flirty read told from Fox's POV. Not only do we get the wedding (yay!), but we get flashbacks to the first book and it was interesting to see how he processed everything that happened with Sophie. All in all, this was a short and sweet read that will have you falling in love with the Bodhi Beach characters all over again.
