This book tells of the magical experiences a creature called the Good Mood Gorki shares with the main character. The plot isn’t very deep but it certainly was a blast to read. The artwork is visually fun and sure to capture a child’s imagination. I think kids will love this book both for the artwork and the bedazzling, spectacularly, fun journey.
This is a wonderful bedtime storybook. All about good moods, how to get them. The illustration are nice and the adventure is contageous. You little one will be having their own night time adventures with smiles on their sleeping faces. Connie is asleep until something woke her up. She saw a hairy creature with big friendly eyes and a walk with a wiggle. He had a night time job of turning frowns into giggles. Wouldn't that be a great job? Good Mood Gorki, I will cheer you up with a magical adventure. They went towards the moon to a galaxy far far away, a land of sweets. They landed on a cookie then bounced on clouds. I'll let you listen/read to find out the rest because it's fun and it will put you in a good mood
Connie fell asleep when she got home because the kids at school were rude to her. She heard a noise woke up, & it was something hairy. It was Good Mood Gorki (fun-loving). He was here to cheer her up. Will Good Mood Gorki be able to cheer Connie up. Follow the 2 of them on an adventure.
I did not receive any type of compensation for reading & reviewing this book. While I receive free books from publishers & authors, I am under no obligation to write a positive review. Only an honest one.
A very awesome book cover, great colored pictures & proper font & writing style. A very well written children’s (2-5) self-esteem adventure story book. It was very easy for me to read/follow from start/finish & never a dull moment. There were no grammar/typo errors, nor any repetitive or out of line sequence sentences. Lots of exciting scenarios, with several twists/turns & a great set of unique characters to keep track of. This could also make another great children’s self-esteem adventure movie, an animated cartoon, PP presentation, or better yet a mini TV series. A very easy rating of 5 stars.

Think happy thoughts. Sometimes kids and even adults, are in a bad mood and can't sleep. There are times when we could all use a Gorki to help us imagine the positives in life and give us some peace and rest.
Connie is in a bad mood because her friends at school had been nasty and rude. While she is trying to fall asleep, a hairy red creature with friendly eyes takes her on a magical adventure to cheer her up. Connie leaves her bedroom to fly to a beach, a volcano, lands of sweets and a trip to outer space. By the time she returns to her bedroom, Connie has forgotten about her bad day and is grateful to her new pal, Good Mood Gorki.
The book is written in rhymes and contains crisp, clear illustrations that will charm toddlers and preschoolers. They will be in a much better mood after reading this book.
This little story was good. I recommend this book for all ages of children. Children have imagination out of this world. Next time I read this it will be to my grandchildren.
What an excellent cover and illustrations! That was my favourite part of the book. The story was good, but it seemed too slow. I was hoping for a life lesson book.
I have mixed feelings as the drawing is nice, the colors are great but that is rating the illustration and not the writing. What is a bit confusing is that if you have a tough day as your kindergarden/schoolmates are mean no worries as out of the blue a red hairy thing will appear, no matter if the doors and windows are locked monsters can enter…. And as this one is nice (phew not a mean one) it will take you to places you dream about, you can eat sweets and by the time you get back to bed you will feel better. It is nice to believe in magic, that you will be cheered up by an immaginary friend but the same problem awaits you next day in school even if kids forget and forgive much quicker than adults. What l mean is this little gorki does not solve the original problem: dealing with the mean gang and helping how to deal with them or how to get over it.
The Good Mood Book was definitely not what I was expecting it to be.
Instead of having the book explore emotions and moods, it provides the reader with a magical and creative journey of a sad child via Gorki, who appears to be a good mood monster attempting to lift her spirits.
The font is easy-to-read and in a rhyming format that is sure to have little hands excited to flip the pages.
The artwork appears most likely to be computer-generated and/or AI done in bright colors that bring each episode to life while including additional fun details.
All in all, Gorki is an interesting little monster who can encourage your own children to open up about their own imaginations and what may put them back in a good mood when things go sideways for them.
" Join the fun loving Good Mood Gorki as it takes a sad girl on a magical adventure packed full of "good mood" wonders designed to bring her cheer and make her frowns disappear!"
A colorful delightful story about Gorki and how he brings happiness to a child who has really had a bad day! A joy to read, for ANY age.
My grandson thought the Good Mood Gorki was so cute, especially the tail. He immediately started drawing pictures of it! The story helped give an important lesson on how to make yourself feel better if you've had a bad day. I think it's a terrific bedtime story for preK and kindergarten aged kids.
I like this book because I had a really tough day today and I really hope that you guys make more of

The Good Mood Book by John Arvai – This was a freebie. It’s a cute reminder that most of the time your mood is under your mind’s control. Though if a fuzzy alien wanted to take me on an adventure to cheer me up, I would probably let him! Happy Reading!
Shows magical places to help with your mood. Some things you can try with your child such as a nice cookie or lollipop. And even visiting an animal shelter to see cute puppies and kittens
This is a cute story about changing a bad mood into a good mood through a trip with a cute little monster. This seems to occur through a dream. This would be good for some instances where kids at school have been rude but may not be a good option for all instances of bullying.
Wasn't quite what I expected but it was still good. I thought it would deal with a wider range of emotions. But I just could not get over how cute he was,
I hate leaving bad reviews but I also cannot be dishonest. I did not hate the book but I also did not like it... at all. The rhymes are often a stretch, the creature is weird, not my cup of tea.
This book made me smile and definitely put me in a good mood! I think this book does a good job of cheering the reader up with the illustrations and the poetic writing.
