A timeless classic. Can visualize a debonair Dev Anand waltzing through the pages, wooing a svelte Waheeda in the rural setting of Malgudi - RK Laxman's fictional universe.

Amazing writing style though the story proceeds to become quite frustrating. Inspires a lot of thinking. Ending is better than expected. Lowkey recommend.

Thoroughly enjoyed reading the book again after a long time. One of the best from RK Narayan with delightful humour and suspense.
