About the author

Lisa Monique Kent is a librarian and author of the novels Peace Cottage and Raising Evangeline, stories about hope and new beginnings. Vinehart Farm, the first in a new series, was available in June 2016. Lisa is now working on Quill Point, Vinehart Farm's sequel. She lives with her family and little dog Scout in rural Vermont, and spends as much time as possible on Maine's rocky coast.
