Stolen by Lisa Lace
Zandra goes to meeting at terramates in Boston with a girlfriend, Alisha. Alisha wants a husband and kids, but Zandra is only there for the food. Jurgen the chief lives on a faraway planet that lost all their woman and children in a war. They have made arrangements with Terramate to bring women to their planet for a price. I found this story to be full of twist and turns. It is very interesting from the men to rules. I like the way Lisa Lace wrote Zandra as a strong woman with a will of her own. It is a full novel and has an HEA ending. I received an ARC and have voluntarily left a review. This is my honest opinion.

I received this book for my honest review.
This one for me was interesting, it was so dark in some things, I mean kidnapping is not a good thing anywhere.
I liked Sandra she was a strong one and had a lot to say and do to better this planet, and poor Jurgen, I think of him as a puppy, strong sometimes and so lost at others.
I liked the idea of him being so feral, but i do hope they develop a little more, the monster in the mountain was a good touch, pretty cool and as always lots of misunderstandings and rescues.
I always will love this plots, they're so fun to read or hear, and they all have so many different ways to see things.
Will wait for more.

This had so much potential. But I didn't like the characters very much. Part of it was the female narrator. The way she said things had me disliking people in the story I wasn't supposed to dislike... like the main character.
So Zandra goes to TerraMates with her best friend because her best friend is interested in marrying an alien. When her friend goes missing Zandra goes back to TerraMates to find her and then wakes up on a ship on her way to be an alien bride.
Jurgen lost the love of his life along with all the other women of his tribe when a neighboring tribe attacked. But in order for his tribe to move forward and for him to get an heir he needs to get brides for his men. He orders women from earth.
So the first thing that irritated me was when Zandra said "Isn't that a little dated?" Talking about the tribes way of life. I'm sorry, Zandra are you familiar with the Tribes history? Or are you basing your opinion on earth's history and timeline? What an ignorant thing to say.
Then Jurgen, who was supposed to be lovesick over his dead ladylove, falls in love with Sandra within like 2 days. He is the tribe leader and then makes stupid choices and doesn't realize they were bad until his friend tells him they were bad. He is the leader, he is supposed to lead with confidence. It really made him unattractive to me.

I did not like this one at all
Why did I choose this rating?
I chose one star because from the beginning of the book I immediately disliked the leading lady she was irritating and quite frankly down right bitchy. Just about all the women in this authors books all have that bitchy air about them and I seriously dislike it. I don't like how she made it a kidnapping since that goes completely against what TerraMates is suppose to be about they're suppose to be upstanding, follow the rules, tons of red tape that sort of thing. I also don't understand how so many women can be killed and TerraMates still be in business it's just mind blowing LoL I know it's fiction but I've read the entire series and I know it's got to be more then 40 women that have died on their way to meet their husbands that's got to be very bad PR....I really couldn't stand how childish she made Zandra out to be she was trying to make her out as a strong independent woman but she came off very childish...she had just slept with the chief the night before and she's walking with him all lovey dovey and asks him what now and he tells her what her place will be like she hasn't already heard it before and she wants to act shocked when he tells her she will bare his sons and raise them..thats when bratty Zandra appears and says I will not be your broodmare I demand we are equal!! Seriously you show up on an alien planet she knows the deal and instead of talking with him rationally because through out the book so far he has heard her out and talked with her she could have taken her time one small victory at a time but nope she wanted it to change right then and there I have to say you know it's bad when the heroine gets taken by the rival clan and I'm sitting there saying "Yes!! Take her!" I was happy she got taken and that seems like the exact opposite reaction you would want your readers to have LoL but Zandra wanted to prove she was his equal she went out there and fought with the big boys and caught the other chiefs eye so then she wanted to be pissed at Jergen for not stopping him *sigh eye roll* so irritating....even after saving her because one of the earth women who wasn't an immature child took the time to explain the differences and how Zandra wants him to see her as an individual she tells him she will never forgive him...but after she demands he take her to his goddess so she can tell her she's not going to get her sacrifice and the goddess kills many of them anyways almost killing the chief too she finally decides she loves him and never wants to leave him (9_9)
Would I recommend this book?? If you have kindle unlimited and have nothing better to read sure, if you have to pay no way!!

One thing you can count on with a new TerraMates novel, you will be up all night, promising just one more chapter!
You can also count on a complex and unique alien world that will pull you in. This novel is no different. I was pulled into a war faring planet of Erusha. After millenia of war, the Tribes have signed a peace treaty. Ivon Khor is both primitive and advanced. Lace creates a wonderful dichotomy
You also get a strong, unique woman. In this case, Zandra Zane (I love this name!) who is a completely satisfied woman: satisfied with her job, her lacking love life and everything else. How she gets to Erusha is very important to the story, so I will leave that spoiler out!
A sexy hero is always waiting for his woman. In this case the tribal chief and Alpha, Jurgen, is recovering from a tragedy that leaves the Apaknor tribe without woman. He contracts with Maxine, a matchmaker with TerraMates for women for himself and his tribemates. He is wonderfully sweet but perfectly dense. It may be me, but Ms Lace seems to be making a subtle point with the Apaknor tribe's attitude toward females.
Other tribe members are also fleshed out and I enjoyed them. Being a huge fan of RH, it would have been nice if Ms. Lace took this opportunity to throw a few more males at Zandra that she could also choose.
Our villains, and there are two, are well done. Their motivations are clear and, while not complex, honest.
The love scenes aren't numerous, yet they are steamy.

This is an extremely well written XXX sci-fi romance, as only Lisa Lace💋 can write them! The descriptions of the various warriors👹 and the world🌍 building made me feel like I was right there with Zandra💃💋. The story is fleshed out and nothing is left out. Highly recommend for lovers💕 of This genre.

Zandra is a career woman who is right where she wants to be in life. Her best friend Alisha wants adventure, marriage and kids and an Alien husband. Alisha wants to check out TerraMates and drags Zandra along for company with a bribe of free food and champagne. One meeting with Maxine, the TerraMates matchmaker and Zandra knows this is not the route for her and she does not want her friend involved with TerraMates either but Alisha really wants it so Zandra leaves her to it. Then all hell breaks loose!
Zandra awakes from stasis only to realize that she has been abducted! When she awakes again it is because the spaceship has been blasted out of the sky and has crash landed! Chaos ensues as she tries to awaken and save as many woman on board as possible only to be kidnapped by Alien warriors!
Jurgen is an Alpha and the Chief of Erusha tribe. His family, as well as all of the families of the tribe were stolen and killed by another tribe and laid out as tribute a their Goddess. He lost all he cares for and will never love again but he has to find woman to marry the males of his tribe as well as finding one for himself so that he can remain Chief. When he agrees to use TerraMates to bring in Earth woman who are interested in marrying Aliens he never dreamed of the adventure that would ensue or the glorious, fiery red-head who can change his world.

This is a story about Zandra a woman who was Kidnapped by Terramates and promised to a tribal chief named Juergen on the war torn planet Erusha. If not for the current peace treaty in place the population of the planet would have become nearly extinct. When Zandra’s ship is shot down in midair by another tribe Zandra and the other women who volunteered to go are kidnapped by that other tribe and Jurgen and his men declare war on the other tribe for violating the peace treaty so they go to rescue their promised women from the neighboring tribe. They eventually get rescued but because there was bloodshed the Goddess of the planet wants sacrifices to be made to her. Zandra goes with Jurgen to talk to the Goddess only to discover that the Goddess isn’t who she seems or pretends to be and now Jurgen has to fend off his tribe from the so called Goddess and gets help from another neighboring tribe. Jurgen ends up betraying Zandra and Zandra is left to fend for herself until she is again rescued. This was a steamy read and a little action packed for a sci-fi romance. I would recommend this book to fans of Lisa Lace and to those that like Alien Romances with a twist. I was gifted an ARC but am voluntarily leaving my own opinion in this review.

Tell Nita come a long way from the original storyline and I guess in order to keep the story fresh you had to change it up a little bit.
What this story you have Hannah who has decided to become a career woman doing a favor for a friend Alisha by going to a mixer at Terra mates.
Jurgen lives on a planet that has been at war among the various tribes for years to the point that their particular tribe has been decimated down to nothing but men. He knows that he must do something to try and rebuild his tribe and to keep his place as chief even if at the time the thought is abhorrent to him
Let's just say things don't go as planned either for Hannah or Jurgen and they will have to learn to work together and make the best of the situation.
I will admit I didn't think the story was originally supposed to be about Hannah more about her friend Alisha whose story thread was left hanging as far as I'm concerned. For me that was one of the unsatisfying aspects of the story as you don't know what happens to her.
Overall the book is not bad the storyline is more than adequate to give the readers a sense of who these characters are and what's happening in their lives.

This is an entertaining read. It is different from the other TerraMates stories I have read. The story showed the dark side of the mating business. This has wonderful, well developed characters. The female lead is realistic in who she is and what she feels. The male lead looks intimidating. He is the head alpha chief of his tribe. He is commanding but has a tender side to him. The story showed him in different vulnerable situations that he handled with modesty and humility. The supporting characters were excellent especially the TerraMates matchmaker. Under the guise of friendliness, she was evil. The way she was written, you could feel the hate oozing from her eyes. This is an excellent story, full of action and adventure, war and strife and last but not least romance. I totally recommend it. I received an Advanced Readers Copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I am not a particularly big fan of sci-fi romance, however, I actually found this book riveting. Zandra found that her entire life would be changed after agreeing to accompany her girlfriend, Alisha, to a meeting. Jurgen, as it turns out, became all she ever needed as well as all she never knew she wanted. I encourage all romance readers to follow this truly amazing storyline; complete with the strong-willed characters to match, all the way through to their happily ever after. I was indeed pleasantly surprise with just how much I enjoyed Stolen.
I was beyond fortunate to have requested an advanced reader's copy of Stolen in exchange for my honest/voluntarily given opinion and I highly recommend reading this book as well as anything written by Ms Lace.

I admit to being a bit leery at first, how was she ever going to be happy? As the book progressed I found myself falling in love with these green gold aliens with honor to their very core, even when mistakes were made they were righted bloodily well. I hope to learn more about this clan and it’s people, I hope there will be more on them and their planet as I found it very intriguing. I also admit to wondering if these particular people are the only civilized clan, the others we meet are, well, very substandard.... but that’s all I will say on that, I really did enjoy this, read it up all in one glorious sitting. Mmmhm!

Unlike most of the women who show up at TerraMates, Zandra has no intention of joining the throng of ladies wanting to marry off world. Instead, she is abducted by Maxine and ends up in a mess. She isn't happy about it either. That is how the relationship between Zandra and Jurgen begins. With a beginning like that one you can't expect a smooth ride, but it is sure spicy. The chemistry between the two is instant, the respect and compromises they are able to have is beautiful. The way they are able to overcome all the obstacles in their path is what makes this a memorable romance that I will read again and again.

Once again Ms.Lace has written a story that will keep you turning the page until the very end. Zandra had no intentions of applying to Terra-Mates. She was happy with her life on Earth and had no desire to leave. Jurgen needed women to help his "clan" rebuild and survive after the deaths of all the women and children. When he agrees to a contract with Terra-Mates, Zandra's life will be changed forever. These two are like "oil and water". Needless to say it will be a rocky road they will travel on their way to a HEA>

I'm not sure how I feel about TerraMates kidnapping women to fill quotas. I know that it makes the story more suspenseful, but it always seemed as though TetraMates started out as a moral company. What happened? Did I miss something? Anyway, there were quite a few characters that were unlikable in this book, as per the plan, but I found Zandra to be a bit lack luster. Jurgen seemed at first like he was going to be uncompromising, but he changed the most. I also liked his character the best. To find out about the goddess, you have to give it a read.😛

Kidnapped
Zandra goes to a cocktail party with her best friend who wants to be an alien mail order bride. Zandra's red hair, green eyes and creamy skin get her kidnapped for the program and immediately sent along with other kidnapped and voluntary brides. When she arrives she is claimed by the Chief who lost his first wife in a terrible attack. Zandra agrees to claim the Chief in exchange for providing him an heir and her safe passage back to earth. Battles, betrayals, bravery and forgiveness darn the couple a chance at forever. I sure hope there will be more in this series, like what happened to best friend Alisha?

Her soon-to-be husband is Jurgen, the leader of his tribe, who must marry and have an heir to remain in that position.
After an agreement, Zandra and Jurgen decide to marry, but when problems appear, will they be able to overcome them, or will Zandra have to marry another alien?
I loved this story because of the romance and small twists. I recommend the reading.

Audio Review: wasn't exactly impressed with the audio narrating on this one. The woman was always whispering and the man was pretty flat in his emotions. But, I did still enjoy the story. The one hiccup is the hero made a huge huge huge mistake in the relationship and without being too "spoilery" it really brought my overall opinion of him down a peg. He was great otherwise...they both had their flaws but tried to take the time to understand and work through it. I liked the character development and world building in this one. It was a fun read and a great way to pass the time.

Once again Ms. Lace's Terramates knocks it out of the ball park with stunning descriptions of Erusha
and its inhabitants, her characters are compelling and magnetizing. You will find yourself immersed in a story with brash and riveting aliens and strong independent women that know their own minds. Be prepared to stay up long past your bedtime to finish this book because every chapter ends with you just wanting more! Love this series!

I loved the book!
Zandra was at the matchmaker office for moral support,
How was she to know that she would be sold as a mate as well.
Jurgen does not "want" a female, but he "needs" a female.
Will these 2 kill each other, before they learn to live w/ each other ?
I loved the storytelling + the characters.
It has all the ingredients that you need for a great book!

Another great book from Lisa.
Truth be told Zandra was irritating at he begining, however i kept reading it because i knew lisa would never disappoint. Strong willed and really stuborn. I never give up much on my reviews because i do not like to spoil.
The alpha male jurgen (?? I forget names easily) was what Zandra needed and that Maxine got EXACTLY was she deserved. I want to see what happened to her ff though.
Looking forward for more.....

This is about human trafficking .Zandra and a few others were kidnapped and sold .The mail order bride company gets away with it. Then the male lead gives her to another tribe , members of his tribe have to tell him he's wrong before he takes her back and she forgives him because he almost dies . The lead in this book is not what I would call an alpha . Yes he fights other tribes but I don't see as showing any true passion of caring for Zandra.

Another brilliant Terra Mates read.

Here we have another great TerraMates story from Lisa Lace. Lisa has a way of writing interesting and entertaining stories and this one is no different. I love the characters she is able to come up with that never seem to be the same old character with a different name. I eagerly await the next one!

Yes!!, another TerraMates book. I love this series, there are so many different unique and complex worlds that keep me pulled into this series. As always there is plenty of action and suspense surrounding the "Couple", Zandra meets her match in one of the best ways, in my opinion, he helps save her and the rest of the girls. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.

This is not your usual Terramates romance.
As you can see from the title of this book
Zandra Didn’t sign up to be a mail order bride.
The action in this book almost starts right from
the beginning of the story and keeps on all the way through.
Definitely a read that had me with the plot and characters.

Another great addition to the series. A kidnapped bride, a war lord and a tentative new peace, what could possibly go wrong? I Didn’t get to bed till early hours of this morning as I couldn’t stop reading until I had finished the book.

She was stolen, but she’s a strong woman, independent. Romantically intriguing could not put this down. Great characters, great plot. I loved this.....Smile
